After reading the reviews people apparently have very high expectations for chain seafood in the Midwest. Can their lobster be over cooked, ya that's a high possibility. Why even get the lobster?? One little tail is like $9 you can get two tails at Russ's for $5 and cook them up at home. The crab is usually on point along with the great cheddar bay biscuits, which by the way they are selling at hyvee now in the biscuit/bread mix aisle, add cheese and milk I believe and you can have fresh ones at home! Their Caesar salads are really good too. They have chocolate cake its legit 8 inches tall, it hits the spot. Sign up for the email club, you get a free appetizer, I suggest the crab dip

Came in to celebrate my moms birthday with family and we were seated right away by Krista, who was amazingly friendly and bubbly!!! Orders were taken right away and drinks were brought out immediately. Our waitress Krista had to switch to front end manager so we got Kerri who was also friendly and sweet! Super efficient as well. Lobster feat dinner was amazing and cooked perfectly!!! Great service! Great food! Love the updated decor!!!

I know there are a lot of people that knock Red Lobster. Since I don't have access to restaurants on the coast on a regular basis, it is as close as I get to real seafood. I have always found the staff to be exceedingly polite and helpful, and the food consistently good. It is pricey. That is the part that hurts. It can't be a regular stop on our meal chain, and have to save it for special occasions. I can't afford to feed 5 people when meals reach upwards of $25 apiece, not counting drinks and appetizers. Overall though, I love coming here. It is one of my favorites.

I just don't get why people like this place. The seafood is horrible. Nothing is fresh, its all frozen and re-heated. They do have good cheddar biscuits but other then that the quality of the fish is just sub-standard. The salad is like a bag salad and most of the stuff is just boiled or fried and drenched in sauce. This is not how you prepare good food but somehow people like it. Now, I know it is hard to get good fresh seafood anywhere in the Midwest but if you want to try your hand at better quality seafood head downtown to Hiro 88 or Blue Sushi. They also have seafood and its much better quality. The price is higher but its worth it for high quality fish. That said, if all you want is fried shrimp or bland frozen salmon etc drenched in sauce, stick with Red Lobster.

When I ordered the wood fired rainbow trout I was expecting a smokey and delicious white fish flavor. Unfortunately it was bland and tasteless. The rice pilaf was identical to rice a Roni! Not good! The broccoli was steamed and tasted fine. Appetizer bread was really good. I ordered a tall Sam Adams and the keg apparently ran out so I got half a glass of head on it. Waiter said she would bring me another glass but instead brought me a blue moon because they had no more Sam Adams. Then when I got the bill I noticed I was charged for two beers even though I only got 1 1/3 a glass lol. I just shook my head paid my bill and tipped the standard 10%. Pretty disappointed in my experience. The waiter was very friendly but seemed flustered and not all there.

Came in for lunch and ordered half shrimp half crab Alfredo. It was delicious and prepared perfectly. Although I always do thing they could put a little more shrimp in it. The salad was okay, could have been more fresh with more vegetables. The service was excellent, very quick and never let us run out of those delicious biscuits. Food came out very quickly waited almost no time at all it seemed like. Something I did not like was the price. Just about $20 dollars for one meal. Gets expensive when you have a whole family with you plus tip. All in all pretty good experience, food was great, however price was a bit much.

They served my red wine in a white wine glass. Not a upscale experience.

I've always had a good experience at this Red Lobster location. The food always tastes great and is hot out of the kitchen. The servers have always been friendly and competent. I really have no complaints overall. My wife and I ordered the endless shrimp. It was delicious but my second serving took quite a while to make. My wife got hers in a couple minutes. Very minor, not going to take a star off. You never know how busy the kitchen is so can't blame them too much. The server was really nice and usually everything is pretty quick. I've never had a bad meal here.

Everything was wonderful and our waiter was fantastic. We were a little annoyed with being seated by the enterance for the employees to the bar and drink station because the restaurant was plenty empty and had lots of seating away from the getting ready to close festivities that were going on. BUT, since our server was awesome I am glad we got his section.

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated quickly, waitress was friendly. We ordered right away because we knew what we wanted (Maple-Glazed Chicken and Crab Linguini Alfredo). The biscuits were of course delicious, fresh and piping hot. The entrees were delicious as well. We asked for desert to go (Chocolate Wave Cake) and the waitress was happy to box it up for us and even wrote on the top to warm it up for about 30 seconds, since that's what they do. One of my favorite nice, chain restaurants to go to.

I've eaten at this Lincoln,Ne. Red Lobster along with many Red Lobsters across the country. I don't know about these other bad reviews here, but I've received consistently good service, the food & drinks are decent, and the prices are reasonable especially compared to some other higher-end seafood restaurants I've been too. Growing up in Maryland, I know seafood well. Its hard to find a top notch seafood joint in the state of Nebraska... but this one has usually always been decent. I give it 4 of 5 stars.

In the midst of major renovation. Looks like a big upgrade in appearance anyway. Food is usually pretty descent, if overpriced. Service is hit or miss like any big chain operation. Way too many teens and very young staff that require an active manager, which may not always be there. If they want to charge these prices, they need more professionals.

I'm not sure why this has received bad reviews. I've eaten at this Red Lobster about a dozen times and have had consistently good experiences there. It has a nice enough atmosphere for a somewhat special occasion, the servers who've waited on me have done a good job, and the food I've ordered has always been good. I always get the crab pasta, and the pre-dinner biscuits are delicious.

This place is a dump. It's run down, dirty, and the food suffer's from the same lack of caring that the location does. Granted, Red Lobster is NOT a high end place to start with but I have eaten at other locations and the food was passable. Here, the lobster was so overcooked it was like chewing rubber. The sides were cold and undercooked. The staff got our order wrong and then didn't bring parts of it until the meal was almost over. When I complained to the manager, he comped our drinks... REALLY? You comp my drinks and that was the only part of the meal that wasn't messed up. I will never set foot in this place again... Avoid at ALL costs... If you want seafood, a McDonalds Fillet of Fish is better than you will get here and an 1/8th the cost...

Red Lobsters aren't the best seafood place around to begin with, but even among its peers, this is one restaurant to avoid. I've ended up sick to my stomach after my last two visits there (not exaggerating).

My friend Phoem, who hails from Thailand, saw a commercial for Red Lobster while we were watching TV in our lethargy following Thanksgiving dinner, and though we were all full for days, Phoem couldn't get the seafood images out of his mind. His own song about Red Lobster led us all to dine there before he, Mon, and I headed back to Denver. There wasn't really a wait when five of us showed up at Red Lobster Saturday afternoon. We did get a chance to ogle the live lobsters in the lobby, though, at which point Phoem actually decided he couldn't eat one if he saw it that soon before ordering. Mon, who loves mushrooms, got excited about the crab stuffed appetizers, and my mom proceeded to order two plates of them. We got our drinks, but it took some of us a while to decide what entrees to order--Phoem decided that he needed more than one trip to Red Lobster to be able to try all he wanted even before we got our meals. My dad got the lunch portion of the shrimp pasta. My mom settled on a halibut lunch, and Mon and Phoem both ordered the colossal scallop and jumbo shrimp meal while I decided to have the broiled bay scallop and fried shrimp lunch combo. We all had salads and cheddar bay biscuits, both which were complimentary with the entrees. Most of us finished all of our food. Phoem, however, whom had been really excited to eat at Red Lobster, couldn't fit all of his colossal seafood into his stomach, and he actually ended up taking the rest onto the plane back to Denver. It was apparently too good to leave behind. My mom and I both thought the waiter, Justin, was cute. He paced the service well, and when I got up to "go to the bathroom" and actually pay the bill before my parents could get to it, he let me believe that he accepted my Visa. However, my dad figured out my scheme and forced Justin to let my parents' American Express be charged in the end. Although he let my parents pick up the tab, I still think Justin's cute, and that's a bonus when I'm dining out! Overall, we had a good time, ate great food, and still made it to the mall to see Santa before leaving Nebraska, and Phoem is still periodically singing about Red Lobster.

This place has turned into fast food and not even good fast food. My last couple visits I have also had a terrible, dumbshit waiter.
