On Tuesdays at Randy's Grill & Chill you can get the half-pound burger with fries, and a couple of domestic draft beers for about $10 plus generous tip for the friendly staff. The basic burger is great. Based on my personal preference I will order my fries well-done next time I stop in. It also looks like they have several other menu items I look forward to trying. Business is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Food is tasty and plentiful for the price. Beer is cold. Atmosphere is family friendly and very busy on Tuesday nights. There are big tables for large groups. There are pool tables and a jukebox. I will come back to Randy's Grill and Chill next time I am in Lincoln regardless of the night of the week. See you there - Cruiser

I only stopped in here once at the beginning of my residency. It used to be a residency favorite. All the guys were always talking about Randy's great burger and fries combos. It's right on my drive home as well so I'm always seeing their street sign with their daily specials that sound awesome. We stopped in and I asked the server about gluten free options. I wasn't very hungry and just wanted a snack. I got my classic deer in headlights look. And she informed me there was nothing I could eat. There is almost always something I can have so I asked if she would mind asking the kitchen. When she came back, obviously annoyed, she told me they refuse to serve me and have no idea what I can and cannot have. I was pretty shocked, I've never been refused service because of my allergy. It's one of my pet peeves. I know gluten free is a 'fad' now, but don't treat those of us with celiacs like we just feel like being difficult. Personally I always feel terrible for the extra trouble I cause the servers/kitchen, but an allergy's an allergy. So needless to say, I haven't been back. Furthermore the whole residency now eats at another burger place that happily accommodates my dietary needs.

This was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. I ordered a steak sandwich and my friend a burger which the waitress said 'we are known for'. I could not bite through my steak sandwich at the ends and had to cut them off and eat the middle part, which was just bland as could be anyway. The fries were super coated with awful tasting seasoning. My friends burger was an over seasoned frozen hockey puck burger that he could only take a couple of bites of. The place is super bright for a bar and grill and it's really not a pleasant atmosphere. I normally would not specifically tell people to not try a place, but here I would.

Randy's is a great dive bar with good food. On Tuesday nights they have a burger special, for $2.99 you can get a 1/4 pound burger with fries or $3.99 1/2 pound burger and fries. It can get pretty busy on Tuesday nights, so try to get there a little early. The last time I went was not a Tuesday night and it wasn't too busy. We went in the early evening and still got a burger even though it wasn't the special, IT HIT THE SPOT. Our Bartender was nice and attentive. We left full and happy. If you want a good cheap burger cooked to order and a cold beer definitely check out Randy's

An acquaintance recommended meeting at Randy' s for the Friday featured Prime Rib. That is saying something in beef country. When I got there about 6:15 PM, he was eating a nice sized salad....Mostly lettuce with some diced tomatoes and other simple salad makings topped with bread stuffing croutons. I had the thousand Island dressing. The dressing was ok. I was content with the salad. I skipped the appetizers, but I did see a couple of unique items that looked interesting go by, I ordered ice tea. The plastic glass had to be at least 64 oz. The lemon slices were very few and very thin. What do you expect? It's a neighborhood bar where lemon slices are decoration. Soft drink and Iced tea refills are only free if you order a meal to go with it. The menu clearly says so. After chatting a while, I looked the menu over not finding any prime rib special. While there are several sandwich variations offered, It still mostly burgers and a few other choices in the same bun. I did find a couple of prime rib sandwich variations. Most meal items were about $8 or $9. I ordered Chicken Strips as I was not in the mood for a sandwich. To be fair, the burgers that passed by looked like nice creations in a good size. My order got missed somewhere in the process. After several orders after mine went to their tables, I made the mistake of saying something to my friend. At that point, I was ready to forget it. He spoke up, so I was stuck. I received four decent sized strips and a good supply of fries. I just don't value that at $8.98 except the free refills made up the difference given the price of the drink refills otherwise. The waitress was friendly, accommodating and easy on the eyes in slacks and a top. My bill was $15.56 plus tip. Most people paid by cash, but they do take credit cards. I don't see how you can eat and leave under $11.00 to $15.00. We sat at a table. While the place was not loud I had difficulty hearing the person across the table.. Being a sports bar, one of the large TVs had problems, but was showing a soccer game. the TV bank was ok. None of them had any sound on. The place also offered Keno. Parking lots are on each side of the building. Enter from either side. Wi-Fi requires you to get the password from your waitress.

Complete sh*thole of an establishment. This place is dirty and falling apart. My menu was deteriorating and half of the menu was no longer served. We tried a Tastee sandwich with onion chips. The meat on the sandwich was so greasy that the bottom bun was soggy and I had to ask for another because it was inedible. Also caught a glimpse of the grill cook in the back wearing a tank top. Nothing like a little pit sweat to make the food just a little more awful.

A local bar that treats non-locals like crap. Seriously terrible. Too crowded. Inattentive staff. Unbelievable. Groupon screwed me on this one. There is a reason that this place has had its Groupon deal on for over a month. They just dont give a care if you return. Buyer beware.

Randy's is a dive bar that serves burgers. If you are drunk, I imagine their burgers are pretty good, because they're very greasy. If you're looking for lunch during your workday, I'd only suggest going to Randy's if it's Tuesday, you're down to your last $3 in change, and you don't have anything important to do in the afternoon. Randy's is irritating because, while the burgers aren't bad, they aren't great. They're fine. Do you know what would help them? Putting stuff on them other than meat. But no, toppings are extra. That's why their $2.99 deal is bullshit, because you get a piece of meat on two pieces of bread. And the topping aren't cheap: they're 75 cents! That's a joke. I'm getting angrier the more I think about it. Lunch shouldn't piss you off. It's an option if you just want a cheap burger, but I don't recommend it. Honestly you can take a slight step downmarket and grab a couple burgers and fries from McDonald's for the exact same price, daily, and you wouldn't even need to take advantage of the sleazy "deal".

The definition of unremarkable is "not worthy of being remarked upon" and Randy's Grill & Chill certainly fits it. Our party of five arrived at 8:15 p.m. for a late dinner. Service was slow. My Heineken was barely cold. When I mentioned it to the server she said that their beer coolers sometimes don't chill the beer that well. What?!! They use the word "Chill" in their name! Appetizers were lukewarm by the time our server got them to our table. We ordered burgers and fries. Once again, the result was ordinary and average at best. We paid our $99.00 bill and left. We won't be back. You shouldn't either.

The kitchen was closed down before we even got there. Not because of hours but because the staff was too lazy to keep it open to keep running it. There was just about nobody there and the staff appeared to be at the bar drinking. I guess this is why they are doing so poorly and why they needed to get on groupon? I don't know but it was pretty pathetic.

Randy's is your typical hole-in-the-wall bar with pool tables and darts. They also have the best burgers in town, IMO. Go there on Tuesday nights for an awesome burger special. $2.99 quarter pound burger and fries or $3.99 half pound burger and fries. Burgers are grilled to perfection, still tender & a little pink. My only complaint is the burger buns; they're too small and flimsy. The tenderness and weight of the burger and toppings turns the buns to mush and make it difficult to eat. But that's a petty rant.

A hole in the wall bar and grill. Stopped in for lunch with a groupon on saturday. I was the only person eating so service was prompt, attentive, and very pleasant! The outside looks rougher than the inside, very clean and looks fairly updated. I had the ultimate burger, sweet potato fries, and the chips with cheese and salsa. All were great! The cheese is the typical nacho cheese you get at ball games, which I love, chips were warm, and salsa flavorful with a kick. Sweet potato fries were crisp and perfectly sweet with a hint of cinnamon, most likely from a frozen bag, but I still enjoyed them. The burger was good, nice size, the honey mustard was a great addition. The onion ring on the burger was the only 'meh' for me about the meal, didn't seem necessary. Now if they only had trivia I would have found my new favorite after work spot!

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

A local bar that treats non-locals like crap. Seriously terrible. Too crowded. Inattentive staff. Unbelievable. Groupon screwed me on this one. There is a reason that this place has had its Groupon deal on for over a month. They just dont give a care if you return. Buyer beware.
