Randy Ross pizza Makes it hard to explore the Rest of the menu. So get two slices. Or maybe get even more! Pizza with cream cheese! Haiku review.

Lazzaris is just your classic college pizza spot. The Randy Ross is by far the go to pizza on the menu and I love the story behind it. I believe he was their old Budweiser delivery guy and would always custom order a pizza so they just ended up putting it on the menu. It's spicy chicken, pepperoni, and cream cheese. Cream cheese on a pizza: unreal. He still goes in today and eats it. If you aren't feeling a pizza, order the knuckle sandwich. It will blow your mind. You people need to get over the service aspect. The employees are college students who are there to make your pizza and bring it out, not wait on you. Brat

Great atmosphere, great pizza, great ranch. Thats the trio I look for in a pizza joint. Definitely a college spot. Great place to stop in and grab a pizza and a pitcher of beer before or after hitting the bars downtown. My recommendation is the Randy Ross. Spicy chicken, cream cheese, pepperoni, Mmmm do me dirty.

This is one of the best New York style pizza joints in Lincoln. I have only visited evenings between 11pm and 3am but the chicken pizza hit the spot for me. I usually get 2 spices and a drink, so talk that how you may. The one thing I would like to see is more variety in their pies by the plaice. For all of you visiting Lincoln as the visiting team (usually the reason people visit), this one the late night spots you can go while celebrating a Nebraska win with Husker fans. I recommend Lazzari's pizza to everyone. Buen Provecho!

The first time I went here, we had a groupon. The food was pretty good, but the service was notably bad. The cashier guy was snotty and not helpful at all, even though it was admittedly our first time there. The food seemed overpriced, but the groupon helped. Regarding the subpar service, I usually let that stuff go because everyone and every restaurant has an off day once and a while. I find that on average most places regularly have excellent or satisfactory service. The next time I gave Lazzari's a chance was when I had a group of girls with me, so we paid full price. We got 3 large pizzas, and the total price was almost $70 dollars. We didn't get any drinks, just water. I was shocked at the price and how the pizza didn't seem to fill everyone up. We actually ordered 2 pizzas, and that wasn't enough, so we had to order another one. It wasn't even that delicious, either. To top it off, I disappointingly received subpar, unfriendly service again. It seems to me that the guys who work here (I've only ever seen young dude-bro employees) always seem to hate what they're doing. In both my trips there, every one of the service personnel was curt, unhelpful, and seemed like they couldn't be bothered to answer my questions. If you want pizza, go across the street to Yia-Yias! It's SOOOOOOO much better for the price! There is MUCH better pizza in town for MUCH better prices with MUCH better service. Others may like this place a lot, and maybe individual lunch specials have better deals, but I know that Lincoln can do much better in locally owned pizza shops than Lazzari's.

I already had pizza for lunch the day I went.... yet still devoured half a pizza at Lazzari's for dinner. Yes, it was that good. Hands down, the go-to pizza, not for the faint of heart: The Randy Ross. Pepperoni, spicy chicken and cream cheese. What? Cream cheese on a pizza? It may sound weird, but it is fantastic with this combination. The spicy chicken is pretty amazing. The inside decor isn't the fanciest. It looks a hybrid of old-school Italian and football... but hey, what else would you expect at a pizza joint in the land of the Huskers. Not only is the pizza absolutely delicious, but the prices are a steal... especially if you are with a group of people. Two things you can bet on when I am in Lincoln: I'm going to the game and I'm hitting up Lazzari's... possibly more than once.

DO NOT BUY A GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE. I purchased a groupon for Lazzari's because I figured I would go with my friends after the bars (when else do you go to Lazzari's?) The fine print of the groupon already stated that it couldn't be used before 3 pm or on football game days (which I thought was awfully limiting) but when I showed up to use it they refused to accept it saying it was their personal policy not to accept groupons after 10 pm (it was 11:30 pm) and they're open until 3 AM. The pizza is fine. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Yia-Yias or down P street to Toppers or Sam & Louie's.

Pretty generic cheap pizza. If you're looking for a great deal and punch cards, this is the place for you :)

While taking a road trip with my mom, from Ohio to Vegas we came across this pizza place. I was craving pizza and we went downtown and was greeted by a handsome man. The pizza was great perfectly cooked and I recommend it highly. I will back!

5 star pizza Best of the old school pizza. They make their own sausage, which is spicy and delicious. Counter guys are always nice. Dinged one star for interior. We always get pies to go. Interior is outdated, dark, the music is always ridiculously LOUD, and I'm begging you to clean the filters over the ovens. Nasty first impression for people!

I have long been of the opinion that if you combined Lazzari's pizza with YiaYia's beer selection, you would have pizza place perfection. As it is, I honestly don't understand why anyone goes to Yia Yia's for pizza when Lazzari's is right across the street. Their pizza is significantly tastier. Back when I used to live in the dorms, I would wander downtown, pick up a free book from the box outside of A Novel Idea, and head down to Lazzari's to enjoy the before-the-bars-let-out calm. Here's the breakdown: Lazzari's pizza: it's delicious; hot, saucy, cheesy and good. It's not pretentious, it's just plain good. The atmosphere: isn't as interesting as YiaYias, but it's more spacious and generally cleaned up. Some TV's help to break up the boredom, and some games to suck more money out of the drunkards. The service: Good, it's good. I've never had a problem with them, and I've never heard of anyone having a problem with them.

The pizza is great! Recommend the Randy Ross. Garlic bread was gross and cheap. I really think it was generic Texas toast garlic bread you can buy in any frozen section at the grocery store. The decor is a little conflicting. Looks like they were trying to go with the football themed Italian restaurant. Weird. The guy who answers the phone and cashiers is a little antisocial. But the pizza is awesome!

Had lunch there last week. Since college this has been my favorite pizza of all time. Lazzari's is 100% responsible costing me and my friends $1000's of dollars in both last call, drunken pizza binges and subsequent tickets for littering those damn paper plates on the way back to campus. I digress. The only reason for not giving it five stars is that it is a restaurant on "O" street in Lincoln and has the ambiance of the basement in the old fraternity house. I don't think Lazzari's is going for ambiance...I'm just getting old. Randy Ross...BEST PIZZA EVER. Last call or for lunch.

Visiting Lazzari's Pizza wasn't quite the experience I expected reading all of the reviews of this place. The place is very dimly lit, which I don't really mind unless I don't have my glasses with me, then it is a royal pain in the rear trying to read the menu. The pizza isn't great, just kind of alright. I have visited this location a couple of times and it has been mediocre at best. If you must try the pizza, it is best to buy pieces individually. I have tried both ways, individual slice and piece of a whole pie. (The whole pies were soggy on the bottom, but the individual slices were alright.) My first experience was alright. Not stellar, not completely terrible. Nobody was there, so we got our food in a fairly reasonable time frame with no real issues. I was very disappointed in my second experience with this place for several reasons. Firstly, I had come on a date with my boyfriend and we just wanted to relax and enjoy each other's company and have a pizza to share. They took our order, we paid, and made our way to our seats after we filled our cups with our beverage selections. We sat there for half an hour and still no pizza. I went to the front counter and asked how much longer it would be before we got our pizza and I was told that they forgot about us! The reason? There was a rush. There were only three other tables there. I had to reiterate our order to the cook and I made sure I articulated well so he got everything. The second issue I had with this experience was that when we got our order, the pizza was made incorrectly. I brought it to the attention of the guy at the counter who took our order and made sure to express that I was disappointed because they not only forgot about us, but when the order was repeated to them, it was still done wrong. He apologized and offered to remake our pizza, but we had already been there for an hour before we got our pizza, so we just wanted to eat. I denied, but he insisted, so I made the order and asked if they would make it to go this time. The third issue I had was that when they made the pizzas, the crust was burnt black on top and the bottom was soggy. I had even made a note to ask them to take it out before the crust blackened (as I had noticed the others around us had black crust as well). Overall experience was very underwhelming, and although they tried to make the situation better by giving us another pizza to go, it still had the same issues. Black crust, soggy bottom. Lesson learned. I really wanted to like this place, but I don't ever see myself returning.

Try the Randy Rogers with family or friends or grab a slice of Spicy Chicken after a long night on O Street. Pizza done the right way....

I also saw inspection warnings for this place in the Lincoln Journal on Tuesday Oct. 9th. Too many violations to list. However it is very clear they don't have a clean safe food environment besides having nasty gross pizza.

For the beginner: Spicy Chicken Pizza. For the more advanced: The Randy Ross It's all about the pizza.

This pizza place will seriously melt your face off. Agreed with the Spicy Chicken starter pizza. If you are all about the veggies, pick something involving tomatoes and artichoke. And a long-time Husker game day tradition.

Their pizza is very good. It isn't anything that will make you rethink your concept of pizza, but it is well done and tasty. The pizza I had was a little spicier than I like, but I admit to being a wimp, so it's probably just a pleasant bite for most people. It's a small place, very cozy. The place is very comfortable in feel, but it does seem a bit... used or even beat up, I suppose.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
