While staying at the Country Inn And Suites we stopped here for dinner with some friends in town. They were super accommodating with our group. Service was very friendly and made sure everything was just fine. But service was a bit slow. It took a long time to get our food and to get a refire on my steak which was a lot on the rare side. Center was blue instead of medium rare. Drinks were also mixed well. The sirloin with crab cakes were delicious after I got my steak cooked a bit more. As was the wonderful cheesy mashed potatoes. The caramel bread pudding was amazing and super rich!! Very good!! However there was a 20% gratuity for our group of 8 that was automatically added. Which is a little high and we would have tipped more actually. It is clean and well kept with good service and good food however service was slow.

We visited Beacon Hills for a Sunday brunch as my kiddos love buffets. There were several salads, desserts, and dishes that were pretty good. There were also, however, several very outdated recipes offered (marshmallow fluff type salads and jello). The atmosphere wasn't uncomfortable but it wasn't upscale either (too much like a bar). The food quality was decent for the price but it certainly wouldn't be a place to go back to very often.

I had this place for lunch for the first time a couple weeks ago and was rather impressed. When I walked in I was immediately skeptical because the whole restaurant smelled like chlorine from the connected hotel pool. Other than that, the restaurant looked very nice on the inside. But anyway, we got seated right away as there was only a few people in there. I ordered the lasagna and it was great. My mom makes it better, but she makes everything better. Everyone I was with ordered something different and everyone was pleased. The food came out quick. They had a good menu too. I would have eaten almost anything.

Beacon Hill was recommended by the Hampton Inn. The menu has a lot of variety and the crab cakes, salad, and steak served were cooked correctly. The service and atmosphere were pleasant. The only downside was finding the parking lot entrance.

Love am the variety in the menu, the crab cakes, and many of the creative menu items. Bread pudding is the bomb!!! Food coma to follow

Thought our dinner was quite good. The food: Parmesan chicken portion was huge! Nice crispy breading and good flavor to the sauce. Tomato basil chicken was a nice, lighter, offering that tasted great as well. Tuscan pasta sauce was a tad runny, but tasted good. How can one go wrong with fried shrimp? Veggies were well prepared, cheesy yukon gold potatoes were very good. Bar drinks fairly priced and not skimpy on alcohol. Our waitress was being trained, but both people that served us were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place for dinner in NW Lincoln.

Overall id give it a B+ .. Good food, great service and reasonably priced (a little high but still reasonable). Ordered two junior salads and both were pretty damn good. Their blue cheese vinaigrette was phenomenal! Deff reccomednation

Food was good. Steak was kind of dry but it was aged a few weeks so maybe it was supposed to be that way. I had a to go order that took longer than they quoted me on the phone. Inside they had a lot of TVs and decent drink specials.

Convenient and fine when staying in the attached hotel. Not sure it would be a destination restaurant otherwise. However, the all-you-can-eat catfish was a draw. :)

Thank you Beacon Hills for making my daughter's Bridal Shower a success. Praises to Anne and her staff. I have had positive responses from all the attendees. They loved the food and the selections. They were impressed with the staff -- very professional. I would be happy to recommend. Thank you Beacon Hills.

Amazing food, and I was told my the front desk of the hotel next door that is made from scratch. Great service, too. Yum!!!

Their crab cakes had way too much filler in them. They also tasted bland and stale. No one else at the table was very impressed with their food. However, their chocolate cake dessert was to die for. Too bad the rest of their food wasn't as memorable.

We've been going to this restaurant about once a month over the course of about a year. We were convinced to return by our first experience dining there for the evening meal. The soups are very good with a good flavor, plenty of meat and veggies, depending on what type they have that day. A personal favorite is the Blackened Salmon with pasta though I omit the mushrooms. The Asian peanut chicken dish with egg rolls is also very good. My dining companion loves their cheesy Yukon Gold potatoes and stir fried vegetables with a filet steak. We often add a garden salad which has always been super fresh. For dessert, go with the bread pudding (and maybe add a scoop of vanilla ice cream). It's warm and delicious - a true comfort food, plus you can share. Ask for two spoons. Wait staff are very friendly and helpful. Most things are good and reliable. They're also great about making it right if you say something. P. S. The sausage pizza and lasagna are very good, too.

I have been here twice, both times the food was nowhere near good. The flatbread pizza had a very odd taste and the "flatbread" was more of a tortilla than anything. Service is very good, wait staff is very friendly, but the food is atrocious!

Mediocre experience, convenient for hotel guests. This place is a seafood restaurant located adjacent to the Country Inn & Suites. My boyfriend and I visited Beacon Hills last night for a dinner date. It was very empty for dinner time, which meant we were seated right away. My lemonade tasted funny, so I switched to Dt. Coke. The servers were polite, didn't interrupt us too much, and were quick about refills. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. I think the server forgot about it, so it took a little longer than normal, but it was very tasty. The bread is soft - not like a traditional crusty bruschetta, and they serve it with some oil & balsamic vinegar (yum!) Beacon Hills boasts about their special crab cake recipe, so I decided to order those. They were pretty good even without any sauce, but the mashed potatoes and veggies were below average. My boyfriend tried a steak, which he said was "ok". Overall, I think it's a nice place to sit and eat for hotel visitors, but most Lincolnites would probably prefer a steakhouse. I may give it another shot, but I was underwhelmed by this visit.

Where do I start? The food was sick. Low quality, straight out of the vacuumed sealed bag to the microwave. Save your money.

Great food! Great drinks! Priced well. Definitely need time for a sit-down meal here. Loved it.

This was my second trip to Beacon Hills, my first trip over a year ago was much better. We were a party of six and the service was SLOW!!! We were one of only four tables in the entire restaurant. I love crab cakes so I was excited to try their famous crab cakes, they were just ok. My daughter had the mozzarella sticks from the kids menu, they must have overcooked them because half of them were empty. We had their bread pudding for dessert, it was the best thing we had. Slow service and mediocre food means I won't go out of my way to eat here again.

Had a pretty good experience at Beacon Hills. The manager was very nice. I pointed out that the ad in the Lincoln Journal said we get a drink with the lunch specials. The manager told me the Lincoln Journal made a mistake...however since it was advertised she would honor the free drink. Wow...this experience was so different than the young snotty manager that BBQ 4U has hired for a manager. The waitress at Beacon Hills was not very attentive.. She seemed more concerned about getting all the tables cleaned off. I thought she forgot us. The food was very good. I will sure be back. The manager of Beacon Hills is awesome. She needs to train the manager of BBQ4U how to treat customers.
