I have eaten here twice. The food is "pretty good" and the sandwiches are pretty smooth. What do I mean by that? They aren't overly chewy. They become smooth and "soft" by making them right and smoking them for a certain number of hours. The atmosphere is quaint and the service is pretty good as well. I do have one complaint. I ordered a root beer by the bottle and it was all foam. Don't they ever drink it themselves to see if it is good?? As I sat it on the table, foam kept coming out and out. I complained and they didn't do a thing except hand me some napkins. Is business that good? But, better than that, why not change root beer? There a plenty of great root beers available...Virgil's for one. But other than that bad experience, it was a pretty good place to eat.

Ribs tasted like beef jerky, so dry and room temp! The cole slaw was drenched with Apple cider vinegar...definitely won't be coming back. Disgusting! Complained to management and was told if we came a little sooner the ribs would have been better...way to give a crappy excuse!

Meh. In from out of town. It's not bad, just nothing to try again. Had a combo plate with brisket and pork. Both very dry. Highly surprised if they were freshly smoked. Also ordered some 'sausage'. Obviously mass produced. Tasted like a better hot dog - but not a good smoked sausage. Sadly, it was the best meat that night. Bread was provided-but going stale. Probably left open all day on the prep line. Potato salad and beans probably came out of containers - nothing remarkable. If I come back, it will be for a hot dog. Not the BBQ. Not the worst I've had, and maybe the best in the area - but a little effort and attention to detail could make a big difference in the quality.

Average bbq. Nothing spectacular, but then I've had some good bbq in my day so I will try not to judge too harshly. The prices were a little...okay, quite high considering the portions.

Pretty tasty sandwiches and potato salad. Has a nice patio, very casual.

Uh Oh! We have a problem. I was told this is some of Kearney's best BBQ...If thats the case Kearney has a major BBQ problem. My wife and I had the ribs and they were terrible. So terrible in fact we didn't finish. They were dry and overdone with a terrible burnt smoke bark. I thought the BBQ sauce would help but even thats terrible. There were some other items coming out of the kitchen that looked great. The loaded baked potato looked awesome. I suppose I will go back and try the other items but for ribs...this place is terrible. The beer selection was good. They have a few different micros on tap which was nice. The salad bar was very limited but fresh which was nice as well. The atmosphere is that of a fast food joint charging nice sit down restaraunt prices.
