Unfortunately there was a bug problem as this place is basically located in a field. But it has cute decor... And my food was surprisingly good! Big enough to have two meals. Good thing I'm not bothered by bugs flying around the counter lol. If they were in my food or near my table it's be a different review. The server was very nice and considering I think he may have been the only one working I was impressed.

Typical diner food that was good and hot. I unfortunately had to deduct a star for the lack of cleanliness. Dried ketchup on the wall, dirty floor. Don't think I'll be going back.

It got 1 star because no stars wasn't an option. The staff looked very interesting. By interesting I mean saggy pants, going outside to smoke, weird makeup, and dirty clothing. Food was nasty!!!!! Super small portions. Green beans were like rubber and cold. Roll wasn't even soft enough to eat. Terrible place don't go there!!!!!!!! Smell in the place is bad too!

Because the Village Inn was almost an hour wait we decided go to Pennys. We should did the hour wait. There was only 1 waitress which wasnt bad at first as there werent a lot of people. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy which were awful. The gravy is a white gelatinous floury mess with no taste and the sausage patty had a weird aftertaste. The whole meal was cold. I ordered the sunrise skillet which was semi-good. Semi, because my eggs were cold and so was my pancake. The butter wouldnt even melt. I tried getting the waitress' attention but she was busy with all the people that eventually came in. I went up to the counter to get another cup of coffee and my pancake warmed up. It was not a good experience and we will not return.

Place is dirty. I should not have stayed to eat. Tears in seats. Food was hot, I just could not get over the look of the place.

Food is decent. Little problem with cook following directions on cooking my hash browns, but thanks to the waitress, Brianna they were cooked just right. Her service attitude and smile was great! What an excellent waitress...thank you!

Tried this place about a year ago and it was just ok. They apparently made some changes, because it was quite a change for the better from last time. I think it has always been open 24hrs and when on the road late, it makes for a great change of pace from fast food. The service was WAY better this time and the food was good last time, but this time it was a great meal - one of thier "daily" specials. I will stop again and next time think ahead about the malt that was better than I can get at any drive thru! Only problem was driving further with that "full" feeling.
