I wrote three favorable resturant reviews today and this is the only one that made my mouth water. Now that you have that appetizing image in your head, I will say that this was pretty good place. They make there own sauces which seem very original and are good even though they are sweeter. Brisket was thin sliced and very moist and tender. Ribs were overdone, but good anyway. It was Sunday night.

Not real impressed here. For dinner last night, I ordered 1/2 rack ribs with sliced brisket. Sides were Mac and cheese and potato salad. The sides were both very bland and generic. Nothing special at all. The brisket was a little dry, but even worse, thinly sliced! The ribs had a great flavor and bark to them, but a little dry as well. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was perfect for a smoke house!

Completely legit and delicious BBQ. Awesome burnt ends. Good brisket. Excellent ribs. Everything had proper seasoning and I enjoyed the smoke flavor level. I particularly enjoyed the ribs... They do not fall off the bone... And they shouldn't or they are over cooked! Yet these were still tender... Really good stuff.

I love this little place! After having met the guys in the back who smoke their brisket for hours I just knew this was going to become my go-to spot for BBQ in the area. Ordering at the front is usually pretty quick and easy, with the exception of the one or two folks ahead who need a little while longer to decide exactly what they want - everything is just so dang good! I've eaten almost everything there at one point now, and my favorite's still gotta be the Texas Huey. The Texas toast is just a great compliment to the ever-tender pulled pork, and you can add as little or as much sauce as you want. My favorite is a mix of a touch of honey BBQ with their hot. There's a giant heaping of meat on the sandwich, and the sides are a great compliment to the meal. The eating area is a little on the smaller side, but it's not a big deal. The service is great, and there are plenty of napkins available to wipe your face off after you're done.

I went for lunch and ordered the Texas Toast with Brisket. My food came quickly. The beef Brisket was moist, tender, and had good flavor. The bbq sauces on the table were delicious and added good flavor.

It's hard to drive by this place with the windows down. You'll find yourself with a hankering for brisket (or pork, or ribs, etc.) and you won't be able to stop thinking about it until you sink your teeth into a sandwich or platter of smoky, meaty deliciousness. The service has always been fantastic and they truly seem to care about creating a positive dining experience. They tend to offer new items on a pretty consistent basis, from new toppings on sandwiches to a different recipe for beans. I have always wondered why they don't have mac 'n cheese, as that is a quintessential side dish for BBQ in my opinion, but maybe it will happen in the future. Until then, you'll find me chowing on some brisket or pulled pork with cole slaw and BBQ beans.

One word...AMAZING! By far the best BBQ sandwich I've ever had. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Fremont. It's a must try! I ordered a chicken sandwich with jalapeños and it was delicious. Huey's won't let you down. The only downside is that there were a lot of flies, but maybe that's because it was summer.

Great little hole-in-the-wall place in Fremont! Highly recommended. Great prices, ample portions, the meat is everything you'd expect & the sides are good, too! Plus they have their sauces bottled so you can buy your favorite to take home!

The brisket tasted and looked like it was reheated from the night before. Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it was from a can, it was better smothered in their BBQ sauce. And their "Texas toast" was a couple of burnt pieces of bread toast.... Not impressed.

Very impressed with this small very small bbq place in Fremont. Was catered to a place I worked at over a year ago and was very good so I thought why not try it again. Stopped in over lunch to grab some ribs for the whole fam. While I sat dithering over what else I should order , I asked the cashier/order lady what she recommends and she mentioned they only had two racks of ribs left ( it was only 11:15 am!!!) so I quickly told her I'd take both ( to the disappointed line of guys behind me, SORRY! ). I added my sides and a pulled pork sandwich. Drove it all home ( which always scares me, I like hot food HOT and usually at the establishment, take out is my least favorite option). And honestly these were some of the best ribs I've had in years, tender, moist, SMOKE flavor galore just like ribs ought to be. Sides were all good to, nothing to rave about but the meat is the most important anyway! Made me see a glimpse of hope for Nebraksa which as far as bbq goes NEEDS more BBQ true smoked BBQ restaurants! We lack for nothing around omaha except good BBQ!

Huey's is definitely a BBQ house I will go back to. Great portions and great sauce with the sandwiches; I got the Memphis.. It's a little know secret of Fremont well worth discovering. The service was very helpful and nice, and the food came out very quick; hardly any wait. Price is pretty average for a smokehouse.

Highly recommend this place. I'm pretty picky when it comes to BBQ and Josh and Co. have this restaurant figured out. It's a very friendly atmosphere. Only recommendation would be to get their before noon during the week. The place can get packed in a hurry! Great job, HSBBQ!

This smokehouse is fantastic. The service is great, every employee was very helpful in recommending great choices. As for the food, the BBQ was one of the best I ever had. The Memphis sandwich showcased all of their meat and the tenderness sold me big time. I think by far the sauces really make the meal to die for. Great food. Great service. You would be denying yourself and your mouth great pleasure by skipping over this Fremont BBQ gem.
