I enjoy eating at Village Inn, however always get frustrated when entering the restaurant . Each time I've gone, have had to wait way too long for anyone to even acknowledge the door, because they do not seem to ever staff as host/hostess. Tonight we had a server named Emily, and she didn't seem to have it in her to be friendly to any of her tables, she's just flat out rude (and was wearing yoga pants to work, wtf?!) . We even heard her in the kitchen threatening to punch one of the cooks in the face!!! The food was good and came out in a timely manner, and the free pie on Wednesday was an added bonus. When cashing out, we told the assistant manager Jake, that the server probably shouldn't be on the floor tonight and that she was quite moody..he made a comment along the lines "yeah, we seem to have that problem , and it's not just her, it's all of them"... WOW! Great manager there ! Smh!

My husband and I along with my daughter went there for dinner. It wasn't busy but had to wait 5 minutes for the hostess. There was a gentleman before us. When the hostess showed up we said he was first. Her response was oh he can wait. She sat us. We waited another 10 mins for a waiter. We decided to leave because we just got a bad vibe from the hostess. PS: It wasn't even busy.

Decided to do breakfast for dinner. This is actually a synopsis of several visits the most recent one being this evening. Service was good Dinner consisted of multigrain pancakes with eggs and bacon (good), children's pancakes and eggs and bacon (good) and the Southern Fried Benedict (poached eggs on top of biscuits with chicken fried chicken/steak, sausage gravy and chopped chunks of sausage with a side of hash browns) It was tasty, only drawback was the hash browns (tasted artificial) Had Lemon Supreme pie for dessert - average. Crust tasted like it had freezer burn.

Took my family for breakfast at lunchtime. everyone enjoys there meals as the Village Inn knows how to make a good breakfast made to order. The only drawback I have experienced is while they have very nice waitresses the service is very slow. Not sure if it is just this location or not but it takes a long time for the food to be prepared. If you are in a rush this is not your best choice but if you have time to spare then a great place for breakfast.

I love the scrambled eggs! Yes, that's unusual. Added real cheddar cheese and onions. Crispy bacon, hash browns and English muffin; all fresh and tasty, not greasy. Guess what! We just got FREE pie to take home with us! So that's what Free Pie Wednesday means! I think they just made my Christmas list! :-)

Good pie, decent food, and FREE WIFI! With neigh a cell tower in sight, the free WIFI alone is almost worth 5 stars!

My go to location for "comfort food", especially breakfast. I've been here so many times the majority of the wait staff know my breakfast order by heart. Food quality good for the price with generous portions. Free pie with your meal on Wednesday's, and I usually buy my holiday pies here.

I am not a huge fan of their breakfast but love their chicken ranch sandwich. Seriously, some of the best ranch I've ever had! While the food is decent, the service is severely lacking. The servers aren't very attentive, I sat for over 20 mins with an empty glass and had to flag down the server from across the restaurant for a refill. I always feel rushed out the door, they drop off the check quickly and then are nowhere to be found should you need additional food/drinks. I'd rather trek across Omaha to 11-Worth cafe for amazing food with the service to match.
