Went for breakfast and livers and onions to go. Well I wanted boiled eggs for breakfast and the menu stated eggs served any style. So I told the waitress I would like 2 boiled eggs. She informs me they don't do boiled eggs. I said y'all need to take eggs any style off the menu because its a lie. Other than that my scramble eggs were good. And I've had their liver & onions before and the are good. All the waitresses were VERY pleasant. So if you want boiled eggs forget it!! Menu is a lier face!!!

Lum's has been doing business at this Belleve location since 1968. Lum's was once a chain of 400 restaurants, but now there are only 2 remaining. Be warned. If you walk into Lum's expecting to find the same menu they had when they opened 40+ years ago then you are going to be in for a disappointment. Sorry, no beer-steamed hot dogs. This place has changed hands a couple of times and when the parent company went under in the early 1980s so did the enforcement of their franchise agreement. Consequently, this Lum's has morphed into its own unique restaurant with its own menu. None of the food here is stellar, but none of it is bad either. It's good solid cuisine for people who prefer a "meat and potatoes" kind of diet. I happen to like their spaghetti sauce (rather different, but good for a non-Italian place like this) and their soups. They do have a lunch buffet they do which is pretty fairly priced with an okay selection. This place is hugely popular with the senior citizen crowd. I suppose they come here for nostalgic reasons. It's a fun dive restaurant to eat at every once in a while for a timewarp to 30+ years ago. Service is attentive and friendly. Restaurant is in bad need of a thorough renovation, but is clean

Standard American diner food. The service was good and friendly and they even made me a second set of over medium eggs because the cook felt like he messed up the first batch. Definitely worth your time if your lookin for a tasty greasy spoon breakfast.

Had lunch with a few friends to try it out. The food was really good homes type cooking. The server was a rather large woman who made some crude homosexual comments. She left my friends and I to stand at the cash register when we wanted to leave. Not too sure why I tipped her I'll never be back.

Love the liver & onions. Very reasonable price, especially Tuesday. One problem is only veg is corn & iceberg salad for $1 extra. Nice old fashioned place.

I hadn't been in a Lums in close to twenty years and this place did not disappoint in the slightest. It was a definite 1970s flashback to my childhood as soon as I walked in the door. Sure, the old 1970s menus are gone (probably wore out from use) but their new, locally-printed menus have more items then the old Lums menus ever had, but that's really the only things that have changed. The hanging LUMS stained-glass lamps, the red upholstered seating and the dark woodwork is all still there like you remembered circa about 1975 or so and it hasn't been updated with false "retro" kitsch like the Davie, FL Lums (which incorrectly billed itself as the "last Lums") did. You can tell everything is original because the seating and woodwork shows signs of wear from 30+ years of use. With that said, however, I hope they don't change anything. I wouldn't want to eat in an "updated" or a NEW Lums, ever. It just wouldn't be right. Service was friendly and fast, and the food decent. I ordered a turkey club sandwich, and the toasted bread being a little hard keeps me from rating this place five stars. I was never lacking for a drink refill and my check and my change was brought fast. You also have the option of paying at the register.

My grandma (Carole T.) owned this restaurant for who knows how long. She sold it a few years ago and I don't know if any of the waiters or waitresses will see this but I love Lums and say hi to Ian and Sumi for me!

I don't really ever go to this place for a nice quiet dinner or a cheap lunch. My primary business here is an early Sunday morning breakfast "stuff your face" place. Its not too much to brag that they make a good cup a coffee but my heart lays with the buffet. I'd actually take what they serve on that line over anything I could get at VI or IHOP. Its simple food, nothing fancy but I love that about it. I doesn't need all the bells and whistles if it tastes great and for me...it tastes great and is the best way I could possibly start a Sunday. I good quiet place to fill my head hole with good, warm food.

This place has that old school/bizarre vibe. The food is actually pretty decent. It is definitely not a place to take visitors or for a special night out but for good ol fashioned cooking it is not bad.

If you're looking for a old fashion diner experience this place is the place only had the breakfast buffet but will be back to try more

This is the last of the once large Lums chain. Lums started down in Florida in the 50's, then spread nationwide. It was always real big along the East coast and especially in New England. The food was along the lines of Howard Johnsons, but, I always thought, a bit better with more menu items. Plus, you could always count on getting a pot of coffee and do some serious hanging out when your dough was running low. That the lone Lums survivor sits in suburban Nebraska is kinda neat. Funny how those well known and popular chains from the old days have gone away. The same, I'm sure, awaits many of todays big chains. Someday, people will wonder what all the fuss was about when Wendy's finally goes under. And so on. Best of luck to this sole remaining Lums. Have a pot a coffee and chill out!

The food is very good and at decent prices. The service is horrible! You get better service at Mcdonalds. We really like Lum's food but have quit going because why should we pay to bee ignored. Bellevue has plenty of other options .

This is a great greasy spoon, home owned diner, I give it four stars because it is perfect, if you are in the diner kind of mood, no less no more. It is a great alternative to the chain store diners.
