Good prices but he food is nothing special. I had the philly cheese steak with mushrooms and onions. It barely had any shrooms or onions. Was mostly just bread and meat with a little cheese. It was pretty cheap and the service was fast. I was working but the beer selection was pretty weak. The cookies were on point!

This time we took my college aged daughter... And she liked eating here as much as we have. Both my daughter and my wife had the personal pizzas... which is my wife's usual. Both were perfect. I had a Philly cheese steak again... this time with mushrooms and onions... really good as always... they put cheese on bottom so it melts into the bread. I'vee read the other reviews..And yes they get behind on clearing tables... a lot of casual or fast food places do... we don't come here often because we live at the other end of Omaha... but when in Bellevue this place is a nice choice. Reasonable prices and pleasant interior.

My fiance and I visited this establishment on Saturday 10/13/2012 at around 830pm. My fiance ordered a small salad from the self serve salad bar and I ordered a Philly Cheese steak and fries. First impressions were a little creepy. You walk by this huge fly/bug zapper thing right in front for all to pass. The thing is huge! It made you feel like you were going to be zapped when you walk by it. As if it was a human zapper thing. The dinning room is separated from the ordering area and the salad-soda-condiment area. The dining room was a nice size but we couldn't help the amount of dirty tables and debris on the floor. No employee was even trying to deal with it. Not a good sign. When we sat down, my fiance had her salad on a tray and she was just staring at it. I figure she was just waiting for my food so that we could eat together. My cheese steak came fairly quickly. She wasn't digging in and I asked what was wrong. It turns out she was grossed out by all the flies around the salad bar and on the items. Hmmmm, I went to go get a refill and I browsed over to the salad bar and saw these black things all over the lemons. Then I looked closer and there were like nat things buzzing all around and they had like infested the lettuce and several other items. It was really obvious and I totally understood her point of view. She did not eat the salad at all. My cheese steak was OK, I've had better but you could tell it wasn't made fresh and they had just reheated the "steak." About the most decent thing on our table were the fries. As I was eating I noticed a man and a woman in plain clothes walking around the front and behind the counter. They looked like someone important to the business. At this time a young man started picking up the tables and working the dining room real slow. These two people I noticed looked like management or ownership. They both did not seemed too concerned for the way things were looking in there. Goes to show that situations like these start from the top! We would definitely not return. And if you do decide to go here watch out for the giant bug zapper by the front counter. Makes you wonder what the problem is as to why they have such a huge buzz zapper out there.... Maybe a bug infestation in the salad bar and the kitchen???? oh well... never again...

I had the pizza and man I was very happy with the taste and better yet the price! I'm going to go back everytime I'm here in Omaha. There are allot of things on the menu that I need to try.

This is a little place in a shopping area with a very decent lunch special with pizza. It was a place that some of my coworkers suggested we eat at for our lunch break. Service is pretty much self serve other than they do deliver your pizza when it is ready. Drinks are generic fountain drinks, but they do have a decent self service salad bar that you get with the lunch special. Pizza is simple with topping not too badly priced for adding to the pizza. Meal is a decent sized, could be big to some, and it tasted really good. All my coworkers enjoyed the meal there as well. Nice simple atmosphere with a simple restaurant style. I would come here again the next time I am in the Omaha/Bellevue area with work.

We stopped in on a week night before a movie, there were only maybe 4 other tables when we got there. We ordered 2 pizzas and an appetizer. After what seemed like a long time for being so slow, we were brought our appetizer, one pizza and a bowl of pasta a which we told the server we did not order. He went back and then came back and told us they would get it corrected and not charge us the difference (which there wasn't one since we were charged correctly). We waited a half an hour before I wen up to inquire about our pizza, by this time the place was a lot busier. It seemed like they had either forgotten or messed up our replacement pizza because he said something about having to resend in the order and he would refund me. I told him to forget the reorder because by this time we had to go to the movie. He apologized and refunded us the money for the pizza we never received. The pizza we did get (for the kids) was great, just disappointed we never received the chicken alfredo pizza we wanted.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife. Menu is decently sized. Focus is pizza, pasta, and sandwiches for the most part. You place your order at the front register and get a number to place on the table for the server to deliver your food when it is ready. The restaurant is spacious with a combination of booths and tables. There is also a back room available for groups (one was in there when we were eating). Both of us got cheesesteaks. I got fries, my wife got the salad. You make your own salad from a small bar that has probably 20 items to choose from. Nothing over the top, but adequate. The fires are crispy and sprinkled with a seasoning salt. Both cheesesteaks were acceptable, but once again, nothing I would go out of my way to get.

Use to go here all the time, I was disappointed with my recent visit! Food was just ok. I had the philly. Maybe I am use to the way Chicago makes their philly's.... with lettuce, tomato etc. This philly just was very basic. I might try to ask for those toppings next time--- but I am sure it would an extra charge and that might make this a $15 sandwich... Also- the person I was with had pizza--- WAY TOO greasy. The taste was not anything spectacular! Just your basic- take out the box and pop in the oven type of pizza. They have gone down hill.

Want a simple filling meal that tastes good and doesn't break the bank? Then Lansky's is your place. My husband and I have been coming here for years and you can pretty well bet you're going to be satisfied. We each got personal pizzas tonight. He got the Aloha which is the Lansky's version of Hawaiian pizza. I got the Primo which is pepperoni, hamburger, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes. We both had salad and a drink. The total bill came to $13.48. Salad bar was fine - nothing too fancy but well stocked. The pizzas were great. The exposed crust was crisp with a nice chewy interior. And the toppings were laid on with a generous hand. Nobody is going hungry tonight. Don't expect to be fawned over. You order your food at the counter. The waiter gives you your cup, salad bowl, and order number. You go sit. They bring food and ask if you need anything else. That's pretty much it. There are better pizza places in town but for the price, the food quantity and quality, Lansky's does the job.

We have been going to Lanskys prior to them opening this location. They started really well in terms of food and service. Unfortunately, the service has recently gone downhill and has become very poor. On our last visit, a Friday at 7:30, the place was a mess. Numerous tables were dirty, the floor was filthy, there were no utensils and the salad bar was pretty much empty. When asked to supply some forks the staff seemed put out and it took them about 5 minutes to get them to customers and they had to be asked numerous times by different people. It seems as if no one is in charge and no one is over the age of 25. The food was of normal quality, though they were out of mushrooms but it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. I like this place for pizza and pasta, but if they don't clean up their act, I am going to stop coming here.

On travel and this was close to hotel. Very poor service. Waited 20 minutes for a clean table. Waited 30 minutes for food. The food was good but not worth the wait.

We came here for a military farewell a few weeks ago. As the name suggests, they have both sandwiches and pizza. They also have a limited selection of alcoholic drinks, including beer and a variety of Barefoot wine for relatively cheap (I think under $4). My husband and I ordered fries, onion rings, and a turkey sandwich. The place is similar to Panera in that you order up front and then they bring your food to your table. Our sandwich was fresh and the fries and onion rings came out hot. All of our food was only "OK." Nothing that would blow your socks off, but I wasn't expecting anything amazing either. In terms of the good things, I thought the prices were reasonable and the the individuals who served us were really friendly. In sum, nothing amazing, but a quick place to catch lunch.

There aren't many Italian restaurants in this part of town, so I keep returning to Lansky's in the hope that I'll have a better experience than the last time. On this visit,I was in the mood for pasta. After ordering linguini, I found out they were out of linguini. How does an Italian restaurant run out of linguini? I went with the rotini. It hadn't been fully drained, leaving a puddle of water under the pasta. The alfredo sauce was fine, but unremarkable. The prices would be reasonable if the food was first-rate, but given the quality of the food, the value is "meh." Drinks and appetizers will set you back as much as an entree.

Good standard American-Italian fare. Nothing to get excited about, but nothing to be disappointed in. Overall, it's slightly above average cuisine. Stick with the basics. That is, pizza and pasta with red sauce. That's really their specialty. You start ordering other things and disappointment is bound to set in. It's not Italian fine dining. It's a Midwest pizza and pasta place. Service is always friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean and well-maintained.

If negative stars were possible I would rate this location a negative 5. It is the alpha and omega between the two locations. The location in Omaha off 50th and L the alpha and the Bellevue location the omega with the alpha being a 5 star and the Bellevue being a negative 5.

Pretty good pizza. Not really worth the price but what is these days. It has a good looking salad bar and plenty of seating.

The food would get a 4, but customer service a 1. We walked in at 3:02 and young kid said we were too late for lunch!! Really? We waked out. Too bad these kids aren't taught how to keep customers!

Stop by here occasionally when passing through Bellevue. Excellent Pizza and pasta, though on my most recent trip I tried the Reuben. It was pretty tasty. I decided to order onion rings for myself. They are the breaded type. My only complaint was I spent $3.50 on onion rings and got 6 of them. I have been noticing a trend of restaurants being stingy with their onion rings. That seems high priced for what I got. But, overall service was good and food was good.

I have tried the roast beef sandwiches they were just OK. All in all a very average meal. Employees were somewhat stoic and the lackluster service took away from my dinning experience.

Overall much improved. This review is closer to 3.5 stars(a feature I wish yelp had). Came here for lunch on a daughter/daddy lunch date. My experience was considerably better. We only waited half the time for our food. I still feel is about 5-10 minutes too long for a lunch meal. The good news is both my daughter's pizza and my baked pasta were delicious. I also had the salad bar which was a good value. On a side note, I enjoy the decor.

When I want good pizza, I struggle to choose between this and Sortino's. Both are my favorite, but each a little differently. What brings me back to Lansky's is the salad bar and the iced cookies! We all love their pizza, my husband loves the philly cheese steak. I've also had the steak salad and it was all very good. I do think they are a bit pricy compared to Sortino's but very good.

This will be the first of a 2 part review. This review will cover the sandwich portion of the resturant. A future review will have to do with the pizza. Came here with My Special Lady Friend around noonish and started to go over the menu. We decided to both get sandwiches and hold off on pizza for a later date. I took the New Yorker and she took the Italian Pilly. I asked for the cole slaw for mine but was told they were out...at noon. Was a lil weirded out by that but they offered me the salad bar on the house for my troubles so I was better! That sandwich I got was a lil smaller that I thought but still a good size. The flavors of the sharp mustard with the meats was pretty good and went down fast. The mountain she had looked awesome and sorta unmanagable unless you tore it apart with a knife and fork first...she did. I finished it. It was good! So the sandwiches were good and I approve. Next update will be the pizza! Eat up Minions!

Original review with photos can be found here: omahapizzareview.com/201… This past Friday night we had the pleasure of visiting Lansky's Pizza, Pasta and Phillies at their Bellevue, Nebraska location. According to their website, Lansky's has been turning out great Philly steak sandwiches and pizzas for 16 plus years in Omaha and Council Bluffs, and they most recently opened a third restaurant in Bellevue in 2004. The Bellevue location was slightly closer for us, so away we went. The Bellevue restaurant is a rather large place with plenty of seating. You enter right at the front counter, study the menu, place your order, pay, grab a number and find an open table. Beers (on ice and with frosty mugs!) are located at the ordering counter while a soda fountain and salad bar are located just around the corner. The menu is nothing short of huge. They feature no less than 17 specialty pizzas including two veggie pizzas, which was a huge hit with The Pizza Wife! Another cheer came for the 8" personal pizzas. Additionally they feature calzones, specialty sandwiches, including a French Dip and Classic Reuben, famous steak and chicken phillies, starters such as onion rings and ravioli, pastas, salads, kid's meals and desserts. Tonight we didn't hold back. We ordered a few beers, onion rings for an app, and three (yes, three) pizzas. What can I say, we like leftovers. We decided on the Butcher's Special, the Veggie Supreme and the Chicken Pesto. We'll start with the onion rings, which were ridiculously good. The thick, seasoned batter clung nicely to the onion. They were crisp, 'beefy' and didn't fall apart when folding or taking a bite. We (ok, I) plowed through a half order in no time. These rival only the rings we had the pleasure of experiencing in Kauai, Hawaii in 2001. The crusts at Lansky's are, much like Mama's Pizza and Mangia, a medium thickness and baked in a conveyor oven. Well at least I think Lansky's uses a conveyor oven. Their bottoms have the tell tail signs of being cooked on a pizza screen. What made the crust at Lansky's a bit different from the others in their category is that the crust had some nice browning and crispiness on the bottom - something that you usually don't get without cooking on a stone. A little further investigation provided confirmation that they do indeed use a conveyor oven. They also use a dough docker prior to cooking to eliminate air bubbles while cooking. The Butchers Special was, without question, created with me in mind. All meat - no damn veggies. It comes loaded with hamburger (a midwest favorite), Canadian bacon, 'regular' bacon, spicy Italian sausage, mozzarella and romano cheese. Yeah, sounds good doesn't it? Well it was. It was a meat symphony with each playing their own unique part. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and they were certainly plentiful. Even though I'm not much of a medium thickness pizza fan, I was pleasantly surprised with their crispier crust. If I had one complaint, it would be the sauce. The end product could have used a bit more in my opinion. Though to be fair when you having toppings such as hamburger on a pizza, the sauce tends to disappear. The addition of the romano cheese also added its own unique flavor profile to the pie. The Veggie Supreme was loaded with fresh vegetables and much to the delight of The Pizza Wife, contained few of the old standards (spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, red onions, artichokes, and Roma tomatoes adorned the pie). What made this pizza stand out was the exclusion of a tomato based sauce. It was instead topped with a garlic sauce. Though a bit runny (it made the crust soggy almost immediately), The Pizza Wife thought it was a brilliant idea to pair potentially bland vegetables with garlic. The Chicken Pesto was another delight for The Wife. It was topped with Lansky's own freshly made pesto sauce, fresh grilled chicken (which got extra points for not being refrigerated, or at least it didn't taste like it had been hanging in the fridge), tons of Roma tomatoes and quattro fromaggio. The pesto was flavorful but a little oilier than The Pizza Wife would have liked. Overall we were impressed with pretty much everything at Lansky's. The crust was pretty good for a medium thickness crust. It managed to be crispy without being doughy or dense, which is impressive in our book -especially for being baked in a conveyor oven. The toppings while good, were not quite as flavorful as those at Mangia Italiana, but that's a pretty high bar to reach. We would certainly return and we recommend you make a visit The good: good crust, flavorful toppings, large menu, ice cold beer The bad: some sauces made our crusts soggy Oven: conveyor Crust: medium thickness (about .25") and crispy Sauce: not much of it (red sauce) Cheese: on top off all other toppings Review by The Omaha Pizza Review Crew OmahaPizzaReview.com Facebook.com/PizzaReview… Twitter.com/PizzaReviewer

Wow, what a disappointment. When we arrived there was one person in line. We ordered fairly quickly. I ordered a pepperoni calzone. I have come here before and had the same dish. It usually comes with 5-6 slices of pepperoni. That's not enough for me, so I ordered extra pepperoni. There was an extra charge, but didn't look to see how much. We walked around to the dining room and saw about 15 dirty tables. We ended up clearing and wiping our own table. The food arrived in about ten minutes. I cut into the calzone and saw the the usual 6 pieces of pepperoni and the cheese was not at all melted in the center. I touched the center and it was indeed cold. I took it to the counter where the girl asked me if I wanted it microwaved. I replied, "No, that would make it nasty." I could do a hot pocket in the microwave at home, if I wanted that. So, she told the young man to remake it. He asked why and she said to "just remake it. It's a pepperoni calzone." I said, "it's supposed to have EXTRA pepperoni." Another 10 minutes goes by and she comes out with a little bit of a darker calzone. I thought this might be good. When I cut into it I saw the same stringy cheese, that when touched, was cold. I also saw there wasn't much pepperoni. She said, "is it ok?" I said no, still cold. She grabbed it off the table, sighed heavily, and took it back to the kitchen. I said I just wanted a refund. Not sure why this particular night they couldn't get the cheese to melt. Was the oven temp to high? That might burn the top before the inside cooked through. Also, can you not just put like 10 slices of pepperoni? Is it that expensive??? This was, most likely, the last visit.

Went there on a Friday night about 9. They closed at 10, but already had chairs on some of the tables & were cleaning the salad bar. Chicken & steak Philly were pretty good.

Yummy pizza! I have only been to Lansky's once so I will revisit and review again if it stays consistent. I really really enjoyed my four cheese pizza at lunchtime. They are busy at lunch but still fairly quick at preparing the food. They have a variety of soft drinks that I am not accustomed to seeing - Diet Dr Pepper! Yay! The individual sized four cheese pizza was the best I have had here in Omaha (and is close to competing with SE Wisconsin pizza which is close to blasphemy!). I will be back!
