Great little cafe in town! I was surprised this was not super busy at 12:30pm, but it could have been the day I went. There were a lot of tables with a few people occupying them so seating was not bad. My friend was here before and she showed me what I had to do to order. There were paper bags that has what you could order on the bag itself. It reminded me of Which Wich where you had to fill out the options to have on your sandwich. I went for the whole #2 Turkey sandwich, chips, and a soda which came out to around $7.57 total. The food came out a long time after but at least we got our food at the same time. The sandwich was good to me but very simple. It was pretty much something you could put together at home. There were other things on the menu which sounded good. On my second visit, I had #22 Turkey Herb which was a hot deli sandwich which took awhile to make. There was only one person in the back so that's probably why. I believe the hot deli sandwiches only came in the whole size and not half. The Turkey Herb was interesting, but I thought it was not bad. It was definitely a change of pace to me. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody stopping through Aurora, NE.

We stopped here for lunch while traveling thru town. From the reviews online we decided to give this place a try. While there was nothing special about the sandwiches, the service is what stood out the most!! And I am NOT referring to good service! The woman that was behind the counter taking our order was rude and unfriendly. She did not greet us with a smile or kind word. In fact, she was rather short with her instructions on how to order a sandwich. When jokingly asked if she was having a bad day, her response was "No - just a day". We thought about telling the owner, only to find out that this was the owner! It was so ironic to see that her art work on one wall included a piece that looked like it was printed on copy paper and said something about being grumpy or irritating there would be a $10 fine. We should have taken that down and presented it to her and told her to pay us the $10 fine for putting up with her rudeness! Not a pleasant woman at all.

On an all night cross country drive from Michigan to Utah, we were looking for a good place to pull off the expressway and get some breakfast. Being 3 miles off the expressway, Aurora looked like a good bet. we were excited to find Espressions in the old downtown area near the courthouse. This is a family run business, run by self professed foodies. Everything is homemade, even the sausage. We were thrilled to get omelettes and waffles made to order. Sides included rosemary potatoes, sausage, salsa and fruit. The couple running the business were very friendly, and were interested in our trip, giving us suggestions for places to stop nearby on our next time through. On a positive note, the owner is a mountain biker/cyclist.

Breakfast quiche, ice blended mocha , GOOD. The place is run by a sister and brother that are determined to put the place on the map. They were helpful in finding out how we wanted our drinks and the brothers breakfast quiche was very tasty

This place is definitely "As good as it gets" in Aurora, NE. My family lives in Aurora and I make it back there to see them from time to time, so I was thrilled to find this place! It's roomy, comfy, and it offers an excellent local flavor. The owner is not from the area, so she has an outsider's perspective to share, but a local perspective, as well (being a business owner and knowing all of the regulars/locals). There are books on the shelves and local artwork on the walls. Also on the inside of the bathroom door is a slew of cartoon strips that make you spend...well...more time in the bathroom than you should. The owner shows her care for her patrons with all of her small touches - fine soap and scented sprays, cushy seating, etc. I'm really clueless about the pricing of coffee shops around Nebraska, but I know my mom has sticker shock whenever she comes to visit me here, so I was a little surprised by the prices. I thought coffee shops in Aurora, NE might be a little lower than the prices where I live now (Washington, DC 'burbs), but they were only nominally lower. Not sure if that's "the usual", or if that only goes for this place. Either way, I didn't think much of it, since it was comparable to what I'm used to paying for the equivalent. A final selling point for me - Wi-Fi! My poor grandma doesn't have wi-fi and much of my family chooses to live in the dark ages, so if I want to work while I'm visiting, I have to hunt down Wi-Fi. I was so glad for this place! I hope she stays there forever!

I love this place! I grew up in Aurora and live in LA now. Whenever I come to visit my folks I always hang out here in the mornings enjoying an excellent latte and working remotely over the free WiFi. Wenda, the owner/operator, whips up a nice selection of muffins for breakfast and the selection of sandwiches for lunch is excellent. Be sure to check out the Double Chubby burger! This place definitely has a good coffee house vibe with a mix of high and low tables and a couple of couches for more serious crashing. She also keeps a good selection of books scattered around in case you didn't bring your own. Don't bother with with coffee from one of the "McChain" places - head to Espressions and grab a really excellent cup o joe.

I love this coffee shop! They have nice sofa and wide variety of java. Plus free wifi, cannot beat that.
