This place is really hit and miss as far as the service goes . You seat yourself and half the time there are no tables cleared off I sit in . It takes forever to get things bussed . The food is usually good ( I've only ever had breakfast here) , and all of the breakfast meats are delicious , although they charge like 5 bucks for a side of three pieces of bacon which makes no sense at all. The wait staff likes to eat and mosey around on their shift and the (tap?) water and iced tea both taste terrible , but I still enjoy breakfast food and there aren't many options up here .

I wouldn't even give this place any stars if I could. Went in with my wife, our 3 month old, and our 3 year old and we stood waiting 10 minutes for someone to either clear an empty booth that had dishes on it, or to have someone acknowledge that we were there. The waitress' never even said hi or can I help you. We left before even getting to try the food. Worst service that I've ever seen or experienced and I'm a kitchen. Manager and have been in the industry for over 10 years. Don't waste your time.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I guess people can have a bad experience, but overall I really enjoy this place. It is a great breakfast option for the oil town of Williston, ND. I think people just have unreasonable expectations. I wish I had started coming here sooner! The decor is definitely nicer then any other breakfast place in the city and the food is what you would expect from a small town breakfast restaurant. I am a fan of the Ranchers breakfast. I have been here 3 times now and the service is always great. It is a seat yourself type place, with a very large clear "seat yourself sign" (that is to the guy with the review that said he was standing there waiting for someone to acknowledge him). Anyways.. this place is good. Better then Gramma Sharons. Period.

The table and seats were clean. The server was VERY prompt although maybe lacking in hospitality. The food came out within ten minutes of ordering and was hot. It was all very edible. I very much enjoyed the potatoes.

First of all, I was turned off by the coughing staff and patrons. I was beginning to think whooping cough has come to Williston ND and immediately reached for sanitizer gel and faced a different direction. I wanted to take a bath in the stuff. I had heard this place was good, so I waited for a day this place was open. Apparently on any given day they have staffing issues and the restaurant would be closed. Not impressed. Service was fair. I ordered a stuffed omlette which has canned mushrooms inside instead of fresh which tasted nasty so I pulled them out but everything else about the eggs was good. It was a 4 egg omlette with a side of marbled rye toast and once again had to deal with pre-frozen chopped hash browns. I just don't understand how hard it could be to buy bags of potatoes and make fresh home style potatoes instead. It makes a world of difference. I won't do breakfast in Williston much because my omlettes are the best, and when I make my home made potatoes, I add cheddar, spinach and salsa for flavor or sometimes Feta. It's not hard to fix a decent breakfast. So the mushrooms and hash browns ruined my meal. Oh well..I had to try this place.

Terrible food, dirty slow staff that could care less if you are even there. Save your money, go someplace else.

Service and ticket time was great. Had a chicken fried steak, eggs and hash browns with a side of pancakes. This would have been 5 stars however I could taste a hint of the oil the pancakes were cooked in...this is a no go. Overall the best breakfast in Williston I've had. Lonnie's however has a certain feel to it that can't be beat, a real essence of the community. At the end of the day I came to eat breakfast, not get an essence of the community.

A 1.5 star location. Nothing special here. Food is poor to mediocre and service is poor. It is as if the staff is avoiding the customers. Weird hours for a restaurant in Williston. Only breakfast and lunch. For a place that could be a gold mine if it served quality food and gave better service, I would be open until at least 10 PM. Maybe they need someone from a real restaurant to come in and redo their menu and show them how service should be. Like so much of Williston and North Dakota, there is no competition; therefore, they do not care.

We had breakfast there one day it was good home cooked food. But i got some sausage links and they were like 1$ each. But other than that the food seemed to be priced just fine

Dirty tables and fattening food items... Everything is fried Except for the salad which I'm sure could be ordered fried. We waited for about 10 minutes at the register to pay alongside other patrons till I had to go physically get our waitress ( I think she was purposefully ignoring us) so we could pay the bill. we'll never go back.

Chances are if you're in Williston you probably work in the oilfield. If you want a great breakfast before heading out to location, this is your spot. Everything tastes fresh and made to order. By far the best food experience I've had here in Williston.

I wish I could submit a review, but after sitting a filthy table, piled high with dirty dishes for over 20 minutes, I gave up and left. I was never acknowledged by a waitress, either. Terrible, terrible service and I will never return there.

Another less than stellar restaurant in Williston, North Dakota. Eclectic menu that ranges from standard breakfast items to dinner fare. Better than some other options in the area... namely Gramma Sharons but I don't think I could be a regular.

A darn good place for breakfast with very nice and accomodating waitressess. I will be back.

Pretty standard midwest diner. Food is decent. Service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day.
