Worst buffet restaurant I've ever eaten at!

What a surprise, a very good buffet in North Dakota. I don't know where they get their shrimp but their salt pepper shrimp are to die for, especially if you bite that jalapeño before chewing on that shrimp. Delicious. The restaurant itself is pretty small but that doesn't cut into the selection. And check this out, the hibachi is nice and warm just waiting for that grub. And they sell beer.

This is our go to buffet place. If you like crab and shrimp then you can't beat what you get for the price. They also have a sushi selection and made to order hibachi table included in the all you can eat price. It's about $8 for lunch and $11 for dinner, best buffet in town!

Honestly, this place would be like a two star back home. Honestly, I wouldn't eat here to get real asian food. But this is North Dakota... so... three stars. It's just subpar, cheap, fake, asian food buffet.

this place is DISGUSTING! the plates, cups and utensils were still dirty. the cups smell(ew!) and the food was old. i didnt even make it to 2nd plate..it was just disgusting. the customers are just dirty and spills food all over the place. who would wanna eat at a restaurant full of nasty food all over the floor? not to mention it gave me a stomach ache. never again.

This is a pretty good Chinese buffet that also has a hibachi. The good is pretty good for North Dakota standards, though it does stand some improvement. The staff are friendly though. I've eaten here more than once and will continue to come back for my Chinese food fix.

The selection is great, but I would recommend they focus on less variety and food cooked just right. Some of it is overcooked and under seasoned. The tandoori chicken is great as is the broccoli in each dish it is served. The sushi maker is friendly and dedicated to making great food with what he is given. The grill in the back is attended by a guy with a great smile and attitude.

You have to know what you're getting into if you're going to eat Chinese buffet. Chinese buffet is for the days you decide you don't care if you gain 5 pounds in one meal and expect to go to bed hating yourself. The food was decent. Not super fresh but also not disgustingly old. I got the egg drop soup with some very fresh and crunchy wontons, which was good. Then I got general tso's chicken, fried rice, chow mein, broccoli, and spring rolls, all of which were good. It was about $10 for the buffet for one. The ice cream and chinese donut things were very good! Definitely went to bed feeling stuffed and wishing I'd eaten a salad though... but that's just Chinese buffet for you...

My friend and I came here last Sunday since we've drove past this place a few times and I was curious trying the food here. My friend did not like the place other than the grill where the cook the food in front of you because when he went here last the food was out for a while and didn't taste very good. Note: This is like any buffet place where you can get unlucky and come at a time where the food isn't fresh. Might be better to go during busy hours or when they first open for lunch or dinner if you want fresher tasting food. The place really reminded me of a typical cheap Asian buffet that you'd see in a bigger city. They have about 5 stations with hot plates out with the large varieties of food. Overall, the food was pretty good considering that there was a large variety of food and I never expected to find decent chinese food in this town. I mainly like this place for the Hibachi grill where you can choose your own meat, vegetables, and sauce and they cook the food right in front of you. My noodles, meat, and veggies came out well. Their soy sauce at that station isn't really soy sauce but some watered down version of soy sauce and vinegar. My friend and I liked my combination better than their recommended ones: 1 spoon soy sauce, 1 spoon teriyaki (or house sauce, I forgot what they called it), 1 scoop spice, 1 scoop fresh garlic, and 1 scoop of the other garlic sauce. If I knew the soy sauce was watered down, then I would've added a little bit of soy sauce from the table. Other than that the food was generally like any cheap Asian buffet or it was a little bit sweet or lacking flavor. Other food that was notable was: - Crab rangoon: It was crispy and tasty. - Mayo Shrimp: This is like the honey walnut prawns you'd see elsewhere, but no walnuts and shrimps instead of prawns. My friend and his buddies love this. - Hot and sour soup: It was actually hot and sour, but the soup lacks the flavor of the broth. The mushrooms, egg, and tofu were good. - Fried dough: My friend liked this one a lot. Fried and sugary... what else is there not to love? - Crawdads: They are previously frozen, but I'm happy that they even had this! - Ice cream: Large tubs of ice cream of the following flavors: vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, cookies 'n' cream, and mint chocolate chip (I might be forgetting a flavor offered) Things I would not try again: - Potstickers/Eggrolls: They just tasted "interesting". I can't put my finger on it, but I preferred the ones that my friend bought at the local Walmart better. - Sushi: Tons of rice and it was mainly variations of california rolls. I think the only one I was curious in was the spicy rolls, but in the end I just didn't care for the flavor of the rolls. This time my friend liked the food here (he said that it tasted a lot more fresh than the last time he was here). Overall, the service was good, there was a large variety of food, I didn't get sick, and the food tasted okay/good. So far, I haven't found a place with better Asian food in Minot (this is mainly due to the Hibachi grill), but I don't mind exploring more places around town. Note: The rating for this place is based on the food offered in the area.

Good buffet. Not the best, but especially good for Minot. If you go right at lunch and not too late at dinner it's all fresh and fully stocked. They have a Hibachi guy there as well. Friendliest staff in town! Seriously, super nice. I posted pics, check them out.
