Locals told us this was the best Grafton had to offer., which isn't much. I had the steak special, marinated in whiskey. It tasted weirdly sweet, off taste and highly tenderized to mush. I ordered it medium rare and got it well done. Complaint to waitress resulted " I am sorry" and nothing else. So I filled up on the pretty good french fries, crumbled and toasted crisp garlic bread, the potato salad from the salad bar and mediocre salad bar featuring lots of iceberg lettuce, okay but not the best green leaf lettuce. After we finished, the waitress returned with an offer of another streak, but a little too late as now I was full, I had the worst whiskey sour ever, must have been less than a thimble full of whiskey in it and of all things maybe made with Sprite? Yuck! My wife had the walleye which was good, but not broiled as she ordered, but deep fried. The place was old, and musty and not really too clean.
