Legit Vietnamese food? IN FARGO? Just when you think you've heard it all! Well fear not - this place is awesome. Pho here is spot on and the Com Rice dishes on point with extremely generous portions. If you are not too familiar with Vietnamese food and don't want to try the soup - check out #20 on the menu - the vietnamese porkchop, vietnamese meatloaf, pork skin, all topped off with a fried egg. Perfect for any North Dakotan's appetite.

Pho is one of my favorite comfort food, when sick. I have eaten pho all over the United States, and at Vietnamese homes, so I know a good Pho. My boyfriend brought me Pho on Tuesday because I was sick, and I wanted more after finishing the big container. Thank you for keeping the real deal alive.a

Love the pho tai! It's the best I've had in Fargo so far, and I have a Vietnamese friend who said the same. Also, the sandwiches looked spectacular, but I haven't had the chance to try one yet. I always get pho when I go here. UPDATE: I tried the pork chop rice platter since a friend recommended it... It's SO GOOD. I don't even eat a lot of pork so I'm picky.

Since moving to Fargo almost five years ago, I haven't been able to find a really good - or any - Vietnamese restaurant. I am so very thankful that Viet Palace has opened and that I, by happenstance, discovered it. I've had the Pho and Bahn mi several times and cannot begin to rave about either one enough. If you're in Fargo and have 'adventurous' tastes, I would highly recommend stopping in here for fantastic service and phenomenal fresh food.

Thank goodness for Fargo. Recently moved from LA to Bismarck and ethnic food is at a premium there. Couldn't resist to stop by this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the combination Pho- the soup base is absolutely delicious and fatty. Was sad to see that tripe and tendon is not on the menu as you would expect to see. Stingy with the Thai basil serving but at least they serve Thai basil here. Vietnamese iced coffee is on point. Can't wait for my next visit here to Fargo and Viet Palace.

Stopped by on our way to Winnipeg, we found this place on yelp. It's a big restaurant that looks like it used to be a buffet place. The guy who was serving us was very nice. Going to a pho place outside of Southern California is always a hit or miss experience. This place is just ok, maybe the best in Fargo ND but not in Cali. It's a little expensive too. Some garnishes are not available here like missing or lack of cilantro and mint.

We came in on a whim- and we were glad we did! Banh mi sandwiches are a favorite of ours and we have been longing for a decent banh mi for some time. The banh mi chay- vegetarian sandwich really fills that need! The pho was decent compared to what we've had elsewhere (they split an order for us!) but needed some significant doctoring at the table. The "inexpensiveness" of the Viet Palace will have us fat with banh mis on the regular. Joy!

Vietnamese is one of my absolute favorite cuisines. Whenever I moved to North Dakota, I was somewhat unhappy that they didn't offer vietnamese food. I frequently travel to fargo to shop at the international market when I noticed the advertisement for Viet Palace. It was a must try. I ordered the spring roll, combination pho, and a pork sandwich. All three were absolutely delicious. I will be coming back to this place.

If it weren't for the service this place would be amazing! Their whole fish is to die for but the service terrible. Way to long to get your food.

I had the pho and it was wonderful. The atmosphere and service were both great, I will be coming back soon. Also, my boyfriend had the Bahn mi sandwich and he said it was very good, not the same as what he would get in New York but still good. This place is really helping to bring a little more diversity to Fargo, and doing it well!

Since my husband and I eat here at least once every couple of weeks, I realized I really do owe these guys a review! The beef bahn mi is my very favorite thing with the orange chicken coming in a close second! We always get #45 which is a crispy noodle dish- super delicious! We have ordered the Vermicelli noodles quite a few times and have never been disappointed! To me this is hands down the best Asian food in town! Although we often stick to the same things(because they are so good!!), I have never had a bad meal yet! This is not your run of the mill boring food!!

This is strictly for pho. The broth is too fatty. The tendons were too mushy. The noodles were too soft. They don't serve sa'ch (stomach lining). The amount of noodles was sparse. $10!? Great service, but no. Terrible pho.

Viet Palace was very good at a reasonable price! The shrimp toast was awesome! I had the squid and it was delicious - definitely the best I've had in Fargo. My husband had the crispy fish, a whole fish batter and fried. It was huge!
