I am giving this 5 stars because I already knew what to expect of this location and it met those expectations. I just had a regular drip coffee, with just a tad bit of half and half. The coffee is very flavorful and tastes of high quality (which you can expect from Stumbeano's). I mentioned knowing what to expect here because a patron needs to realize you are coming to a small, quaint coffee shop with high quality coffee. The place is tiny and has little seating; I think three tables. You have your "regular" coffee and them some espresso and tea options as well. If you are looking for a Starbucks/Moxie/Atomic experience with a large drink menu board and a ton of seating and heavy foot traffic, then Stumbeano's may not be it. If it's more about grabbing a quick, great tasting coffee and maybe sitting for a quiet conversation (if you find an open table), this is it. There are also some patio seats in the shared entry area with The Boiler Room but the upcoming weather will prevent that until next Spring.

Awesome coffee and location! This place is hard to find but so worth the trip!! Had the iced coffee (cold brew) and it was perfect! Nice staff, beautiful location and would love to come back!!

Small Menu for drinks and snacks. I haven't eaten anything here, but they have the best roasted espresso that I've found, ANYWHERE.

I read it was kind of tricky finding this place. If you go in the front door go down the stairs. Take a quick right then left down the hallway. There it is OR just go in the door around the back in the alley. Unfortunately I am only in town for a day because that was quite possibly one of the best espressos I have ever had. The crema was thick and creamy. The black goodness had a hint of liquorice and just a small bite. This was a perfect drink to have while waiting for my pour over. I went with the sulawesi. Had a slightly fruity start and a real clean finish. The lady behind the counter was pleasant to talk to. She really helped out with getting me a bag of the espresso blend to go. Cant wait to get back to houston and try it out in my machine. Wish the roaster was there to talk to but everyone deserves a day off. Thank you for this little gem.

Charming location and great coffee. This coffee shop is unique in location and in coffee. It would be nice if there were more food options. The staff is great.

Great coffee, superb toast (yes, they serve toast!) and very friendly service. Greg is very educated about the art of roasting, brewing and serving quality coffee. Come check out this cozy new coffee shop and support this great local business!!

I love this coffee. It's brilliant aroma and bold note flavor profile wakes me up and throws me in a good mood each morning. I receive deliveries to California a few times annually. If they were closer I'd drink even more often. Great stuff!

Everything I've had here is great, except the bagged beans. To be fair, I've only bought one bag of the Brazil blend, but I've heard this from others. Stick with the drinks at Stumbeano's, like the Cafe Miel, cortado and chai tea, which is brewed per order.

Stumbeano's is great. My new favorite coffee place in Fargo. I had never even heard of them until advertising from Save Coin. It's right on Broadway, but have to go to alley and go downstairs, so it's not visible from the street and easy to miss. The barista was very informed and knew exactly how to describe the different types of coffee they had available. The drink menu is simple and traditional and very reasonably priced, less than I thought it would be. The pour over I ordered tasted exactly as the bariata described it. It was amazing, and probably the best cup of coffee I've ever had. Definitely better than my daily home made pour over, and better than the dozen or so places I've tried in Minneapolis. No doubt the coffee being freshly roasted plays a role in how good it is. I buy Dunn Bros fresh roasted beans every so often and my home made coffee is a step up from normal, but still not as good as this cup was. My wife ordered a cafe miel, which she has ordered at numerous places in Minneapolis, and she stated that was the best miel she has ever had. I tried it as well and it was excellent. We will definitely be visiting Stumbeano's again and I look forward trying more of their coffee.

After fumbling around in the basement and wandering around the Boiler Room I found the shop. Save yourself the trouble and don't go in from the Broadway side. The shop was small and intimate. Service was pleasant for the few options I noticed. Looked like a new startup from an ex Starbucks crew member. If you are nearby it could be fun to try. But I would not go out of my way to go back.

Finally got to try this place after hearing about it from my husband and other friends. Its a little tricky to find, you have to go downstairs in the Lotetta building and then down a narrow hallway to find it. They also have a back alley entrance and its below Dvine wine bar. I ordered the Cafe Miel and it was wonderful. The steam milk was perfect. My husband got an espresso that he was pleased with and our friend ordered a pour over coffee. This is a great place for true coffee snobs. It is rather small so dont plan on bringing a big group to stay.

This is a great little coffee shop. It's located downstairs around a back alley with an entrance next to boiler room, so a little hard to find if you're not looking for it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They make their own syrups here. I tried the Berry honey syrup in my latte and it was really tasty. The regular iced coffee was also very good if you don't like the fancy coffees.
