Moxie is generally not a coffee shop that I stay and sit down at. The seating is a bit limited and cramped for what I prefer, but there are still plenty of people who enjoy it each day. I come to Moxie Java for other reasons - they are very friendly, super fast with the drinks, the taste & consistency of the drinks are always good, and their baked goods are outstanding. Cookies, muffins, cakes; you can't go wrong.

Moxie Java is a cute place. I come here to study sometimes. I love Italian cream soda, and they have the cheapest cream soda of any coffee shop I've been to in Fargo. They also have great bagels with amazing veggie cream cheese. Most of the workers are super friendly. I just wish they didn't close so early.

I like going to Moxie, when the right people are working. A few of the baristas don't listen as well as they should. On the plus side, they have a really great chai tea and my go-to drink is a soy dirty chai (chai with espresso). This Moxie is in a great location but the people-watching isn't as good as at atomic, because you have to sit right up at the window and I'm pretty sure people are watching you as you watch them haha.

On the news this morning I just heard about another health benefit of drinking coffee. Smile of contentment for this well caffeinated gal. You too can jump on the coffee bandwagon by hurrying on down to Moxie Java. Not only do they make a great Vanilla Latte but a darn good cranberry bread as well. I live about a thousand miles from this cute little coffee shop so if I can check it out, you sure can also. Let's drink to coffee and how darn good it is for us!

The orange muffins seriously save this place. I love my coffee, but I'm yet to have a drink besides black coffee that passes over caffeine buzz and goes straight to sugar rush. Even my white chocolate mocha managed to rot my teeth the second it touched my lips! Ok, that hyperbole might not have been necessary, but the overly sweet drinks aren't necessary either. This place is great for someone who needs a pick me up without actually having to taste coffee or someone who might be new to the coffee world. If you really want a delicious sugar rush, go with the Milky Way. With that being said, the baked goods are pretty delicious. As previously stated, the orange muffins are legit. I used to get one every day on my way to Barry Hall. Their scones are great, the sandwiches are fresh, and other pastries aren't bad either. It's a shame that I have to get black coffee to go with my treat. One of my least favorite things about this place is that the WiFi is always spotty. Some days it works great, other days it won't even acknowledge my existence. Oh well. At least the girls working are friendly. Oh wait...they're usually too busy chatting with each other.

This place ended up being a nice respite on a recent road trip. It wasn't busy on the weekday afternoon I was there, and with the good wifi I was able to do some much-needed trip planning. Quality of espresso: Good. I enjoyed my latte. Price: Around $3.25 for a 16oz latte, so pretty typical Ambiance: Nice. As coffee shops go, more on the sophisticated side. Seating: Mostly 2- and 4-top tables of reasonable size Wifi: Free and very good. Parking: Street. Free and plentiful.

Nice place. Worth stopping in for a visit. Staff was more interested in getting the coffee out so customer service took a hit. It was busy. Stopped by early after having been frustrated with a lack of early options in the area. This update reflects a very different experience. The shop was full of cheerful regulars. The counter was well stocked with fresh baked goods that I don't recall being present on my late afternoon visit over a week ago. Will most definitely be going back in the early AM so I can be at work by 7.

I just came here for my usual morning vanilla latte. The counter girls seemed a bit more interested in chatting with each other than having any interaction with me. And the latte was over-sweet, over-milked, and under-caffeinated. However, the pumpkin bread was really good. And they have wifi. I probably wouldn't seek this place out for coffee, but the pastries do seem good.

Great place to come for coffee and catch up on homework. Staff is very friendly and the pastries are amazing! Recommend the homemade cinnamon twists and doughnuts!

I put down a deposit for a wedding cake and cookies. Before my first tasting, I left her a message that I wanted to discuss which flavors I would try, but she never called me back. On the day of the tasting, I ended up getting whatever she deemed appropriate without any input from me. When I said that I did not like one particular type of cake, she became defensive. At the second tasting, I asked to taste cake fillings, and she said that she would leave them at the bakery for me for me to pick up, but they were not there when I arrived. When I attempted to negotiate what I felt were too-high prices, she again became very curt and defensive with me. She purchased a cake stand without my go-ahead and then tried to stick me with an unreasonable rental fee for it. I asked twice for an itemized cost estimate for my wedding cake, but never received one. Still, I attempted to work with her because I was running out of time. Then, without warning, she bailed on me by refunding my deposit. She did not offer any explanation. Now I am stuck without a baker just eight weeks before my wedding. NIGHTMARE!
