This is a great place for a quick weekday lunch. Been here several times and have enjoyed it each time.

Coming from LA this place is a shadow of a great thai restaurant. But what can you really say about thai food in Fargo Moorhead Area right? Everything I ordered are a little bit too sweet then its supposed to and if I can make better food than what they are offering then I know this place is a one and doner. Honestly, I am dissapointed. The service was great, the ambience was great and clean. But I come to a restaurant for food and food alone and am sorry, I rather cook myself then experience another too sweet meals but hey you might like it, try it for yourself!

Pretty good. Much better than Thai Orchid. If this weren't Fargo, then I might give this place only 3 stars, but accounting for regional palates it's pretty solid.

Not early as bad as I was expecting from previous reviews. Extremely friendly staff and a cute restaurant! Chicken coconut soup left a lot to be desired! Super sweet and no spice what so ever! Red curry chicken - although a tad sweet the dish was pretty darn good! Just the perfect amount of spice and a nice combination of ingredients!

Thai Orchid, Wasabi, Jade Dragon & Leela Thai offer the best Asian-inspired cuisine in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Dishes are not always consistent but ingredients are fresh, sauces are top quality, curries & noodle bowls are delicious, service is good, and decor is authentic.

I stopped in on a Tuesday night for dinner and was the only person in the restaurant. I was a little worried that this was a bad sign but after trying the food, I can assure you the place should be packed! The food was great! I had pad thai and it held up to other pad thai I have had elsewhere. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. I will definitely return in the near future!

After I was diagnosed with celiac disease in February 2009, I was very cautious about eating out. After talking with the staff here, they gave me several options that were supposedly gluten free which was awesome. However, each time I ordered, it seemed like the staff had conflicting knowledge about what was actually gluten free. Eventually I was limited to one dish. Honestly, I don't trust anything they say anymore and I quit going.

This is another great spot to get good Thai food in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Thai fried rice is delicious. This place is slightly edged out by Thai Orchid in Moorhead.

LOVE this place. I eat there a few times a month. Service and atmosphere are great. Staff explains the menu and makes suggestions. I've eaten there over a dozen times and have never had a bad dining experience. Food taste great and is consistent each time I go.

Best lunch special in town, reasonable price and good variety. Love the red hot cashew

Very solid. The spicy basil and Tom kha ga were both excellent

This restaurant is pretty good - definitely one of the better places in Fargo. I came here with a friend. He ordered the braised beef and I ordered the Chicken See Yew. We started with their appetizer sampler, which was very tasty. The cream cheese wontons are especially good. The braised beef dish is an Asian curry. My friend said it was very good and I could smell the curry across the table. It looked delicious. My chicken see yew was excellent. In California, see yew is often so rich I can't finish it all, but this dish was more savory than rich and it really hit the spot. I would definitely order it again. The only problem I had with the place is that it is hidden away inside a strip mall and the signage is not easily visible from the street. Anyway, if you are looking for Thai food, or a different kind of Asian food, check out LeeLa Thai. I would easily recommend this place over the Thai Orchid in Moorhead.

Being from California, my Thai food experiences have been incredibly different from up in North Dakota. The service here was excellent, and the Thai iced tea was really good as well. The entrees on the other hand were okay. The pad Thai was a bit dry, and the vegetables used seemed as if they were from a frozen medley. My guest ordered the red curry, it was runny (maybe too much coconut milk was used?) and the vegetables also seemed as if they came from a frozen medley. I might be judging too harshly because of my past experiences, the restaurant had a good dinner rush and everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Wonderful decor! I lived in Thailand for awhile and I feel in love with the food. This restaurant brought back great memories of wonderful food. I had a hot basil dish and it had the perfect amount of spice to it. The portion size of the meal is perfect! They don't over load your plate. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the right wine to serve with the meal, and she was very polite. I'm hoping to visit again in the near future.

Not fantastic, but serviceable. My son ordered the Panang Beef Curry, which was out of Panang beef, so sliced beef was substituted. He was not impressed. My daughter had the pad thai, which was good not great. My first two choices, based on the menu online were not even available on the menu in the restaurant, so I settled for something I thought would be a Jungle Curry; instead, it was a very greasy collection of veggies. I am hoping our experience was an aberration, but we won't be back to verify.

We came to LeeLa Thai for dinner. We were traveling from out of town on business. The food was great and the service was fantastic. The owner was the most friendliest person I've ever met. If you're looking for great Thai, this is the place. I wish they delivered to Chicago. Enjoy!!

Not that impressed. Ordered the green curry and counted about 4 slices of chicken and the rest all the other embellishments they add as fillers. Pad Thai was decent but I've had much better Thai food.

Went here for an early dinner and received excellent service! Good was certainly enjoyable as well.

The food was good, but you will be greatly disappointed if you go by the online menu. They have not updated it in a while, so when we went there and saw the much smaller selection it was kind of a let down.

I desperately wanted to like this place. I was starving and ordered some shrimp pad Thai takeout from here. The noodles were an odd shade of yellow, slightly overcooked, and contained no bean sprouts. They included a wilted sliver of lemon about a fourth of an inch thick. There were exactly five small shrimp in the meal. At a price point of $13.25 I do not find this acceptable. I just can't find anything about the meal that was appetizing let alone enjoyable. Also my friend ordered the mixed seafood pad Thai which included two shrimp, two scallops, two mussels (of a rubbery dry persuasion) and two small inedible pieces of squid. It was all fishy. Neither meal had anything fresh about it...a hint of cilantro or something would have been nice :-/ Next!

I personally loved this place, but I also didn't try any other thai places in the area. My husband and I had a really good experience here. The good was great and came quickly. I loved that everything was marked vegan/vegetarian. I think the spring rolls were my favorite.

I live within walking distance of Thaitown in LA, and clearly this is not up to those standards. However, the Tom Kha Gai soup we shared had some nice lemongrass flavor and a rich coconut taste. As others have noted, no that soup isn't spicy at all, but it isn't advertised as being spicy. The two curries (Red-seafood, Green-beef) we ordered, while lacking some complexity, had plenty of spice and nice flavor to them. So, while I agree that this place isn't up to LA (RCA), NYC (Sala Thai), or Chicago (Star of Siam) standards, it's a great restaurant for Fargo. The restaurant is clean and nice and the staff were very attentive.

Honestly, it's not a bad place. Though coming from a plethora of wonderful thai restaurants in Indiana, and even a previous one I knew in Fargo, I found the selection to be very disappointing, which might have colored my opinion a bit. The food was good, but it missed some of the classic curries that are otherwise quite ubiquitous at Thai Places! Mossaman curry for instance (What I was really hoping to get!). The heat was decent, but nothing special. Essentially what I expect from a North Dakota ethnic restaurant, for some reason people in this state can't handle spice, so you don't find very spicy stuff. So, not a downside. Just a warning, it's not the spicy Thai food you might find in other cities! The Decor was high class, but not the greatest either, perhaps this is a bit of orientalist thinking here, but I would have liked some more Thai style decor to set the atmosphere! Instead it's barely different from any other normal restaurant. Ultimately, four of us ate there. None of us were disappointed by the quality of the food, or the portions, which were huge. It's just the variety that gets me!
