Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I'm under the impression that this Chipotle is new to Fargo and may be the only one in town. You should all know that this is not up to the Chipotle standards. I am used to the one near work back home, which reminded me how good they are there. Not all Chipotle locations are as good as that one, but most are better than this one. After walking into a restaurant that wasn't clean and waiting in line for awhile, I was "greeted" by someone that didn't care she was there. I said I would like flour soft tacos to go. She responded with "corn or hard shell?" I repeated flour. Apparently she heard me, but she didn't care. They were out of flour taco-sized tortillas. She responded with "we're out." No sorry, no nothing. She has one burrito tortilla quarter that they were apparently using for soft tacos, but since they couldn't be bothered to cut up another, she made me pick something else. Apparently I acted disgusted enough, so there was some chatter amongst them about making more. I just said I would get a burrito instead. I got half the amount of chicken that is normally put in the burritos at Chipotle. When I got it back to the hotel to eat it, it was really pretty bad. I mean, it was okay, but it wasn't up to Chipotle's normal standards. I think Chipotle's stores are all corporate owned, so it's probably just a bad manager. Hopefully corporate will realize this and trade out for a new one.

We love Chipotle! We have been counting down the days until it was open here. Picked the kid up from school and came directly here. My fav is veggie with guac, but the Sofritas also rock. I can't eat a whole one at once. Daughter lives the chicken. Husband gets the quesadilla or steak burrito. They are doing an awesome job for their first day. Some things run out before the next batch is done, but they are keeping their cool and getting fresh food cooked quickly. Glad to have you in town, Chipotle!

I've been to several - many - Chipotles outside of the FM area and this one does not disappoint. It is well run, consistent with its food, and clean. Overall it's what you think about when you heard your friends ooo-ing and ahh-ing about it's legendary urban flavor. Maybe as a long time fan I'm willing to go over the top and say this is a 5 star pick. But in comparison to other Chipotles I've been to this one has what it takes to make me say guac please. Search the web for "secret" menu items - I've heard they won't disappoint your craving for something off the grid.

Prior to moving here from Vegas I stopped by Chipotle 3 times a week! I have really missed having it for the past few months. I love how you customize your meal and can make it healthy or splurge. This location just opened and the wait is a little long but hopefully it will slow down a bit. My go to is a burrito bowl with with either chicken, sofritas or carnitas. (You have to try the carnitas when it comes back!!!) I do a mix of mild and medium salsas. (If I want it spicier I add a little Tabasco at the end) Don't forget the chips and guacamole! Sofritas is there tofu option but I swear it's amazing. Think of it like ground turkey or chicken with a spicy kick to it. I think even picky meat eaters would enjoy it.

Wonderful as always! I have been waiting many years for a Chipotle to open in Fargo. I am not sure if this is good or bad, but the wait in line was less than 10 minutes on opening day. I was expecting my entire lunch hour would be spent waiting in line. Either way, I received the burrito I was expecting. BARBACOA, white rice, both beans, corn salsa, red salsa, sour cream and cheese! This was the first thing I ever ordered from Chipotle and it continues to be my go-to burrito choice. I cap locked BARBACOA for a reason. It is why I have been craving a Chipotle in this town for so many years. When I lived in St. Cloud I would get this burrito 2-3 times per week. Half for lunch the other half for diner. This burrito is fantastic hot or cold. The flavor, quality and quantity makes Chipotle a true standout. There are multiple brands in the FM area that try to copy Chipotle's success, but none of them succeeded in converting me into a fan. Chipotle has always been better!

DIRTY! 7 P.M. Saturday night and every square inch of this restaurant that I saw was dirty, and I mean dirty! The glass entry doors were completely smeared with fingerprints, almost every area of the floor of the dining room was covered with small bits of food, the tops of most of the empty tables weren't being bussed and were dirty. Amazingly, I made it to the serving counter. Every single serving dish on the row was splattered over and just an absolute mess. I have visited more Chipotle's than I can count in more than 10 states; this one is by FAR the worst in terms of cleanliness, a real embarrassment to a company I have grown to really respect. On this occasion, I chose to make a 180 degree turn and walk out without ordering anything. Please clean up your restaurant so I can eat here one day in the future!!! Have some pride people, this is a dynamite company.

I love Chipotle, but this is not Chipotle. I walked in and it smelled kinda off. All of the tables and floors were dirty. Staff was nice, but the cleanliness of the place made me lose my appetite.

I've been to many Chipotles, and I love this chain. But, there is something different about Fargo's Chipotle. After two visits with different people, I can confidently say that I won't return again, as the food is not good at this location. The rice was incredibly dry and did not have its distinctive lime flavor that I love. The meat was equally bland. Furthermore, the line, even when short, takes forever, which sets the tone for the food experience. The staff chit chats way too much with each other, and regularly stops taking orders from people in line to prepare to-go orders. I was most recently in a line about 7 people deep that took nearly 30 minutes. Why wait for food that doesn't taste good? I don't believe that I would return to this Chipotle unless the food and service improves.

Anyone in Fargo who doesn't give Chipotle a 5 star is so used to subpar food they don't know good food when it smacks them in the face. Yes, lines are long. Yes, the rollers are still learning. Yes, not having 2 registers or an online order station was an oversight. But the food makes all these issues bearable. The food is what is what makes Chipotle special and there are no other fast casual Mexican - American restaurants that come close.

#newChipotleproblems. I've been eating at Chipotles for many years and was super excited that I no longer have to drive to MN from Bismarck to experience Chipotle. But this store left a bad taste in my mouth. First of all the restaurant itself was in various state of disarray. Trash overflowing, trash under the table. It took 20minutes from door to food in hand. The chicken was charred beyond recognition as the grill was not clean thoroughly. No consistency with portions from order to order. I wanted fajitas vegetables and noticed there weren't any long before I reach the ordering station: the next batch wasn't on the grill till I was paying. Chaos at the cashier station was probably why the whole process took so long. who the hell scheduled the new guy for weekend lunch shift? For now we are probably better of eating at Qdoba till this place is brought to Chipotle standards.

i have been eating chipotle since long and i am crazy chipotle fan.so i went to eat out to the new chipotle opened in fargo but had a pathetic experice. i must say it just did not meet chipotle expectations. Rice was under cooked and because of which my stomach is paining now. And Chiken was Burnt and was tasting too bitter. pathetic experience.

Slow and undertrained/underprepared service.

Okay first of all neha. That's ridiculous you could not get sick from undercooked rice overcooked meat don't think so maybe . So the fact that your stomach hurting cause cundercooked cooked rice No can't be true and considering this was on the weekend most likely they were busy and if you waited any longer we will be reading about how long you had to wait . I'm from Southern California I've eaten Chipotle several times. So when it opened in Fargo I was like man I can't wait I don't want to go there for a while so they can work out all the kinks cuz obviously all restaurants at first have some kinds kinks so about 5 days ago I couldn't wait any longer so me and my husband went in and the line was wrapped around the whole inside all the way to the door and he didnt want to wait but I was like watch this isnt going to take long it took us from waiting at the door to sitting down eating 20 minutes it costed us under $20 and the people there were very polite even though they were crazy stressful busy the restaurant could have been picked up a little better the tables could have been wiped off but again like I said the restaurant was crazy busy love this place would suggest it to everyone and we'll go back again.

Here we go! After waiting far too long for chipotle to get to Fargo! I am so disappointed. I waited till today to show up let the lines of a new place thin a bit. Boy were the lines thin and they will get a lot thinner. WAKE UP! Is there management even involved? This a new!! Myself and guest were the 4th people in today at 11 opening! Should be clean? Restrooms a joke!Nope floors a mess not one clean table to sit at. When we said some something they reply was a quick oh no! We will get those clean. After walking past ten dirty tables I used four paper napkins wiped lettuce beans rice off table into other napkins this mess in Unfinished dinning room is totally unacceptable. The mess was left from the night before! Or day! I had to force myself not to look in kitchen for fear of what I might notice. Mind you the tables stuck out like a soar thumb! They were so dirty looked like they were going to sell market products from the table tops. I was going to ask if they even had tables? Because the ones that were there looked like produce display tops. The food which why we went there was only alright. Cold! Steak meat was tough like chewing rubber bands. I am thankful for the Taco Shop! Paul kind those running right). By far by far much more worth the money and value and quality going to The TacoShops))) this place is a travesty national brand and name rolled into town thinking we should bow? Lead! Train accountable folks to execute. Do not wait until next week to get lots of corporate pimple to this place quick are people on there why yet to get this right? This Fargo ND. Where friendly is expected not a snub will get to it and then one person cleans one table and that's it. I'm not a quidoba fan but I'll go there before going back to this chipotle but the real spot I will always support is the local shop!!! TacoShop))))) that real good. I know it will be easy for management to think well it's a new store they'll get it. SEND trainers,Management back to this new store now or you'll be locking the doors soon. Because of lack of sales and interest in a for now very bad product. Whom ever made a decision in the organization to back of help in the way of training development and sign off on management is more than likely the one that needs the most development themselves. This is so so SAD. It hurt to write and say. The Gauck wasn't even as good as the other 41 stores Iv been too. I hope someone can assist this business very quickly.
