Excellent food including sandwiches and soup. They have a kids menu. Numerous homemade desserts like pies, coffee cake, cookies etc. Followed the yelp reviews while traveling cross country. It is about 5 minutes off of Hwy 94. We had a friendly and quick server (Gracey) who was excellent with the kids @ the table. Thank you Stix n Twigs for a great lunch!

This small cafe serves up terrific sandwiches, soups and deserts! I enjoyed a very delicious club sandwich on fresh wheat bread. The ham, turkey, salami and cheese on the club were all fresh tasting and very good. The special soup of the day was chicken tortilla and it was also delicious! My wife enjoyed a very good sandwich too, the California Dreaming. Staff was friendly and service was very good. The owner came over and talked with us about our road trip and even gave us complimentary strawberry rhubarb pie for desert! My only disappointment is that this restaurant isn't into hometown; because if it were I'd eat here very often. This was a great find! Highly recommended.

Ok lunch spot. Fresh ingredients average bread but overall a good sandwich. Lost a few stars for the 15% up change for a to-go order...

Take LOTS of tasty organic offerings, VERY good, smooth coffee along with a friendly, helpful staff in an upscale cafe setting. Here you have it. It's like Starbucks if it was ran by Jesus! Yeah, it's that good. And I don't just liberally hand out 5 stars on Yelp. Been here a couple times and will continue to come here. Great place!

Surely another unique find in this area of such...finds. New setting in cozy atmosphere, great service. Having Lemon Berry Cheesecake first as app. Is quite good. Are lots of customizable sandwich items here. My first Hemp burger coming up. Just did that. Was really good. Had blue cheese and grilled onions with. I plan to return.

5 stars local, organic, great food in Dickinson, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Fun dishes with a twist and made to a high quality!! Will be a must-stop when traveling through.

What a find!! Great organic food and fun beverages - yummy lavender lemonade! Don't miss he cranberry wild rice bread. My 9 yr old said the red pepper soup was the best he has ever had.

I tried this place because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. I ordered the veggie wrap with the red pepper soup. Both were excellent, the wrap had beautiful fresh veggies and I wished I had gotten a bigger size of the soup. It was so tasty. It was a nice surprise to find an organic place to eat on our road trip back to CA. They do add a surcharge of 15% if you get your order to go.

5 Stars for the food here relative to elsewhere in Dickinson (entirely an assumption) I try to keep things to bullet points. - Staff: Friendly and helpful - Food: - Elk Burger (can't recall its exact name): tasty, but the patties are thin so if you like your burger medium rare don't order this as it will very likely come out some form of medium - Roasted Red Pepper Soup: Was quite good--tasty, hot, etc. - I can't remember what I got, but it was able to get avocado and it was a satisfying meal :-) - Location/facilities: All clean, fun atmosphere if not a bit disjointed for the location (mariner theme in near-waterless North Dakota?) If you're not into trucker/bar/fast food (and I don't mean to put this place on par with any of those types of places), this is a great place to stop.

Hands down best restaurant in Dickinson. Their Red Pepper soup is one of the best I've ever tasted. They have both Elk and Bison burger, which are my favorite wild game, so I am like a kid in a candy store here. Everything is organically grown and locally bought if you care about such things (including gluten free options). The service is friendly and they have many items that you may find in cities but are rare in places like Dickinson, for example a Matcha Green Tea Latte. They also have this wonderful choke cherry vinaigrette for salads that we liked so much we had to buy some from them (they make it themselves in the restaurant). The atmosphere is delightful, although the restaurant is a little small with not a ton of tables. Altogether, though, you will not be disappointed about the food or the dent in your pocketbook, as it is incredibly affordable.

One of my favorite lunch spots. (Nitrate free bacon, organic ingredients) Which I happen to enjoy. The roasted red pepper soup is so good! The sandwiches are good, but there isn't much to choose from. The one with pesto is yummy! If you're picky, or want lots of options, this isn't the place for you. My husband tried to order a sandwich and change a couple things, and they didn't like doing that. For whatever reason, I don't know.

The food was good, but the prices were awful. We paid $10 for a veggie sandwich (lettuce, tomato, avadcado, and onions on wheat bread with hummus) and $7 for a bowl of soup that wasn't very big. The kicker is that we were charged $2.50 "plate splitting fee" on our sandwhich even though we ordered two entrées to share. I don't think it's appropriate to charge $2.50 to cut a sandwich in half... On the plus side, the atmosphere was lovely and the place seemed very nice and clean. Nice contemporary design. The roasted red pepper soup was delicious!

The only reason I give 3 stars rather than 2 is because the staff was so great and my order was probably not representative of their larger menu. That said, try anything other than the veggie wrap. I had the tomato basil soup and the veggie wrap. The soup was very good, heavy and rich with some good sized chunks of tomatoes. The wrap though, awful. It was bland and very unappetizing. The only part of it that had flavor was the hummus, and it was not a good flavor, bitter, almost spoiled. And before you go telling me, but it's a veggie wrap, isn't it supposed to be bland? I should say two things; 1) I love vegetables and 2) it costs $10! Subway veggie sandwiches are better than this, vegetables by themselves are better than this. They should take this off the menu and just offer a salad. Or don't even offer a salad, just give people a pumpkin and a sharpened spoon and tell them to "get after it." I also had watermelon tea. It was good.

Driving through the Dakotas and Montana, it was hard to find a meal other than meat and fries, so I searched Yelp for "salad" in Dickinson, ND. Stix n Twigs had tons of healthy options that were delicious to boot! The roasted red pepper soup was fresh and yummy and my turkey and Swiss sandwich on cranberry and rice bread was excellent as well. We also ordered one of the 8 smoothie offerings. Friendly staff and clean place!

Fantastic! I went to Stix N' Twigs a few weeks ago for lunch and it was wonderful. Everything tasted great down to the little pretzels they put on the table when you first sit down. I absolutely LOVED the fact they had organic and non-GMO options. I'm really impressed. As far as I know, they are the only place in town that even mentions organic on their menu. I wish we had more like mined businesses in town. I will most definitely be back to support this local cafe!

Amazing! The roasted red pepper soup is one of the best soups I've ever had. I'm enjoying the California Dreamin' sandwich now and it is fantastic! Thank you for having such a fabulous place here in Dikinson!

The only clean, good, organic food in Dickinson! Great coffee, amazing soups and try the Greek yogurt cheesecake! Friendly service and cool atmosphere with all the rocks and crystals.

The food here is fresh and delicious! Also, if you have any kind of gluten allergy, this is a great place to go!... The gluten-free bread is fabulous!

I loved this place. I had fast friendly service and got large portions of fresh crisp veges, delicious hummus, and a perfectly done bison patty. It's a quaint little spot in downtown Dickinson with daily specials and indoor & outdoor seating. The pretzels on the table were delicious, too.

Stix 'n Twigs is one of my favorite places to eat in Dickinson (I just wish they were open more!) The food is organic with a twist. I've had several of their sandwiches and found them delicious. Always fresh ingredients and great bread. Their soups are also great - their vegetarian is a bit twangy with curry but tasty. Their smoothies are to die for! Seriously. Get the Hawaiian Breeze and tell me you didn't love it. The service is always friendly and quick. I've never seen it get too crowded or noisy so it's a great place to bring a book and chill in one of the big comfy chairs in front of the fireplace. Again, my one complaint is the hours. It's only open Monday-Fridays until 4:30PM, right when I get off work so it's not the most convenient for someone who works so I sneak off for lunch here when I can!
