Get only the ribs, they really are fall off the bone. The steak is over seasoned and tasted really salty. The customer service wasn't great either, the waitress did not know the menu and kept saying its her first day. Ive been in bismarck for a month now and I hear that excuse everywhere. If you are unsure, then say so. Don't make assumptions to try and please the customer, it just makes everything after complicated.

6/10/15 The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal. Turned out to be a great place to bring a cranky toddler. It was so loud that no one could hear him grumbling. Our table was in an odd location and we continually got bumped by all the servers coming and going to the tables behind us but everyone apologized. We were pretty hungry, so as soon as we dug into that bread, we stopped noticing. Then someone had a birthday at a table right behind us and this young man (employee) yelled so loud my son and I both jumped out of our skin! He apologized profusely after they were done singing and asked if our boy was okay. I got a sirloin and BBQ chicken combo and it was fantastic. My husband got steak and ribs and loved his meal, too. Our son got the mac and cheese and it was so bland he refused to eat it. We asked if we could swap it for the chicken and they did so without an issue. The manager came over to bring the new dish and make sure the rest of the meal was okay. Any restaurant has the ability to serve good food, but the service here was amazing. I was really impressed.

Usually we stay away from the "waiting" type franchises. This place keys you throw peanuts on the floor! Why not. I had the porterhouse. It was cooked perfectly and it was huge. My wife had the filet. Also cooked well. Service was great and it was super busy. Wish they had more of a beer selection. It's just a menu full of sugary fruity drinks and iced tea crap. Not into it at all. It's a above average steak house. Little too busy for my taste. But. I see why. I will be back for sure when I'm in town.

I really can't figure out why this place is packed night after night. You have to wait a long time to get a table for food that really is mediocre. The buns and cinn. butter are pretty good while they are hot. Once cooled not so much. I had beef tips cooked med. I expected them to be tender and yummy drenched in their gravy. They were over cooked and so hard to chew I was afraid I'd have to discreetly put it in my napkin. The green beans were overcooked and had some fake bacon flavoring added to it. I dislike any type of flavorings added to my food. On a good note, the mashed potatoes were fabulous! The noise level was so high we could hardly visit and when the girls would do their line dance they turned the music up so high that we could just look at each other and smile till it was over. I probably won't be coming back here for a long while.

Food is pretty good and the atmosphere is fun, but every time we went, we had an extremely long wait. The last time we waited just over an hour and finally left because we were starving and withering away. We were saved from our hunger pains by Five Guys. If they could do something about the long wait...or not tell you that its only a 30-45 minute wait and then make you wait over an hour...they might receive more business from me.

Lousy service! We've eaten at many Texas Roadhouse restaurants and never had such a bad experience! There were 8 in our party and it seemed like our server knew she was going to get an 18% tip so she didn't even try to give us good service. We asked for drink refills numerous times only to have her bring one at a time to the table. We spent most of the meal without drinks. We'll never return to this place!

Love the margaritas with the 1800 shot! haha the food was great, servers are friendly (we had Lakota and she was great). My burger was cooked just the way I like it. The bread was wonderful and super tasty (you know how I Love my carbs) not sure if it was the bread, the cinnamon-honey butter or the wonderful combination of the two (that's my bet) keep asking for more if you have to (we didn't with Lakota she was great about bringing the refills on bread and asking if we wanted more) It was a great value for the price, we all left completely full without getting desert. My dad was visiting and had the ribs, he was pleased and he is not easily pleased. Considering that Bismarck is growing this is defiantly the best place in town for a steak, waiting for more options to come in but for now this is great. Great for groups as long as you can yell, it gets pretty noisy but it's all in good fun, not like any ones drunk yelling out a bunch of swear words.

We love this place! I don't think we've ever lived near one of these and are always happy to see one on our many travels. The hot rolls with the cinnamon-honey butter are amazing and they give you unlimited refills. All their food is great and the service always great. Hot rolls, buckets of peanuts and great food. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be back to one of their locations!

This is my first time to try this place and i did not get disappointed. The food is great and as for me, this is the best place to be. And the best foods to eat! I really want to try all their foods at that time because i will be out of town for a month. But unfortunately I am very full. Anyway, 1 month is not that long, i will definitely go back again as long as I got home.

I drove all the way from Minot numerous times when I lived in North Dakota just because I had the hankering for their dinner rolls. I always asked for extra rolls to go. Their steaks were pretty tasty and their service was magnificent. Too bad they don't have one in San Diego.

By far the worst experience I have ever had. Ordered the All American Cheeseburger. I requested it to be cooked medium. Instead, it was so overcooked the dryness from the meat sucked the moisture out of my hands and the humid North Dakota skies. My server never checked to see how the food was and was nowhere to be found to address the issue. This was especially upsetting because we had just realized our cheesy steak fries appetizer never showed up and we were way past due for refills on our drinks. When we finally received our appetizer, the cheese was way over cooked, missing bacon, and there were barely any fries. At this point I requested to speak to a manager, but one never showed up. 15 minutes later, I got up walking laps around the restaurant looking for a manager or anyone that cared about their job. When I finally found a manger, he told me he was never asked to see us. I told him the quality of food and service was so horrible that it was something I'd expect my worst enemies would serve me. I told him I was from Sacramento, CA and jokingly said I hope someone from California that doesn't like me isn't working in that kitchen. He took my joke so seriously, and out-of-context to the point where he started lecturing me about my approach to the situation, rather than addressing the situation at hand. I right away said if your employees acted like they love their jobs like all their shirts says, we wouldn't be having this conversation. After going back and forth like this for a few minutes (still continuing to take everything out-of-context), he finally acknowledged that the appetizer was completely done wrong and said the cheeseburgers can only be cooked well done as required by law. I respect health code regulations, however, had my server advised me of that when I ordered my food, I would have ordered something completely different. The manager finally apologized for what happened and waived our bill. He offered us a voucher for the next time but we kindly said we appreciate all you've done, but there won't be a next time. I will not return to a restaurant being ran by careless employees, and sensitive, anti-social management! After this experience, I will NEVER do business with this restaurant!

Average for a chain steakhouse. Probably the best steak in Bismarck, that I have found, but not great when compared to other Cities. I agree with other reviewers that the dinner rolls are very good, the rest of the food, particularly the steaks, are average for the reasonable prices. Update Been back multiple times. Seems our first visit was lowest experience. Steaks are good and compared to other Bismarck establishments prices are reasonable.

This is the best value in a steakhouse this side of the Missouri. Never have I been disappointed with the food or service. Get the 6oz Sirloin with garden salad and green beans. Throw in a few rolls and you've got a great meal under 10 bucks! The only downside for my liking is the noise. It is a bit noisy, but the atmosphere is festive.
