Today was the second time I visited this cute market, and the first time I bought anything. Both times the staff was very friendly without the fake "I-have-to-smile-cause-I-work-here" kind of friendly. Consistently nice staff encourages me to come back. I bought three frozen prepared meals, eggplant parmesan, gumbo, and chicken enchiladas. Tonight I had the eggplant parm and it definitely exceeded my expectations. After reading the reviews here, I thought "How great could a frozen meal really be?" But after cooking it at home, it tasted really fresh and nicely prepared. And not too salty, which is a major reason why I avoid buying frozen meals at the grocery store. The prices ranged from $9-$12 for frozen meals, definitely worth the money. Just a tip, if you take it home straight from the market, it may take longer in the oven than indicated. The instructions said 350 degrees for 60-90 minutes, but it actually took about 2 hours. I imagine this is because the freezer there is colder than the average freezer. It had no time to thaw out much from the market to home to the oven. I cooked it with aluminum foil on top for 90 minutes, then took the foil off and cooked for a further 20 minutes. Next time I'm feeling lazy with dinner I will definitely be back!

The crew at Pine Valley Market never disappoints! Today we had the Oatmeal Pancakes and the Cheesesteak Omelet. Both were amazing! Very full of flavor and obviously made with the best ingredients!

There is so much to say about Pine Valley Market I don't know where to begin. They offer off-site catering, frozen, pre-made dinners, a deli case, various soups throughout the day and a full service menu too. Add to all that a great wine selection and you've got the perfect place to pick up dinner for a friend who is sick or just had a baby, dinner for yourself, and a nice bottle of wine too. The staff are extremely personable and friendly and treat their customers like family. A real gem to the area!

Having driven past this tiny place 2x a day for years, i finally decided to stop in. The sandwiches were fantastic (had the italian and hubby had the BLT... italian was better). Many sides to chose from - salads, orzo, potato salad, pasta salad. All fresh and tasty. Will definately stop in many more times.

After posting a previous review that I was unhappy with the fact that they were closed for catering, I received a message from one of the owners of Pine Valley. Long story short I can appreciate their predicament of trying to make it as a small business on a big business world. I love good customer service so I will be going back again soon to try the food.

Pine Valley Market has grown up from a primarily catering first/take out second establishment. I would go and pick up a twice baked horseradish potato for emergency sustenance when I was busy doing DIY projects. Well I noticed that in the last few years, PVM quietly had some "work" done. Like a Wilmywood Starlet. A nip here....(change of seating and increased floor plan) A tuck there.....(happy beachy paint colors) And a dedicated menu to carry you past the comfort food you can take out after dining. Now PVM is a solid dependable place to go for a quick bite or a treat. (They have cookies and cakes people!) I am a breakfast fiend so, I took my friend just the other day. and yes, was surprised yet again by some even more awesomeness. Real Homemade Southern Biscuits. Now that might seem like a no brainer, but some folks seem to have lost the art. We won't go there... let me just pause and celebrate.... whoo ha! Eggs were scrambled just the way each of us liked... me hard, my friend soft. Plenty of crispy bacon. And that Biscuit and compote on the table. Like a bottle of celebratory champagne. Light, airy and gone too soon. Pine Valley Market has got it goin' on.
