Shoooo, they don't call me a "cheap date" without a reason, particularly with that BOGO sushi roll action, what what?!. Wait. No. No one calls me that, and my wife knows better than to woo me with BOGO sushi, particularly if it comes with strings attached (more on this in a second). But, for a quick lunch/dinner, this place is on my rotations of "places to go within a 5 minute drive that are not expensive, and serve tallboys of Japanese beer." Location: 4 out of 5 Thai's is in the Grace Park shopping plaza close to the corner of M-ville Carpenter and Davis. Right by the other plaza with an Asian restaurant(s), and next door to a number of other "me too" type establishments like an Irish pub, Mexican joint, etc. The good news is that you can also get your nails done and get some gasoline, mail a package at the UPS, get some Starbucks, and then take your dog to the vet. While parking is free, be mindful of the one way/angled parking spots, and even more mindful of the Asian people that choose not to follow such conventions. What? I can say that, I'm of Asian descent, GONG. Customer Service: 3 out of 5 Hit or miss sometimes, even with the same hostesses and waitstaff. Sometimes they're really friendly, sometimes they seem stressed (just like most people). Service is consistently quick once you put your order in, though - and it's amazing how quickly they can turn around a lunch order for a table of 4. I mean, a North Carolina "3" for customer service is like a Chicago "4" (and yes, I can also say that since I spent most of my adult life in Chicago), so no real complaints, particularly because they also bring you an excess of what you'll actually need, like flatware, napkins, sauce, wasabi, etc. Ambiance/decor: 3.5 out of 5 You know what this place needs more of? The waving cat thingy that I see at all Asian joints. I don't think they have one, and if they only have one, they need MORE. Like 12 of them, because 12 is a lucky number. Or something. Honestly, the inside of this restaurant looks like it could be well suited to a variety to genres, and if they were to ever pick up and leave, another "me too" type restaurant could swoop right in, make some minimal aesthetic changes, and "rebrand" themselves as something else. Selection of food: 4 out of 5 Any restaurant that claims to be multi continental will have a variety of foods. Does that mean that it's all good? Absolutely not, but do they at least have one dish that represents Thai/Chinese/Korean/Japanese? Sure. There is nothing exceptional about the offerings here, and nothing that would make the average person go, "Whoa, this is completely gross, look they serve chicken feet." Alternatively, there is nothing that would make an old grumpy Asian man or woman go, "Whoa, this is completely awesome, they have bitter melon stuffed into a fish's head stuffed inside a calf intestine." If you're somewhere in between, you'll be fine. Quality of food: 3 out of 5 (limited to sushi rolls) I only get sushi when I come. The plain tuna rolls taste like tuna rolls I've eaten elsewhere. And more elsewhere. And even more elsewhere. Completely familiar. Completely forgettable. The same goes for the novelty rolls - the same tired "me too" mentality yields the same tired "eh" reaction. Now, my mom who actually qualifies as an old grumpy Asian woman will firmly attest that their goat curry is above average, but I would also argue that she has no idea what goat curry is supposed to taste like, therefore...half a dozen up, six down. Pricing: 5 out of 5 (if you do it right). I should mention that the first time my wife and I went, we were sort of "tricked" by the sushi pricing scheme of BOGO. Yes, it's true that it's BOGO, but it's also true that if you get 4 rolls, you will pay the price of the 2 most expensive ones. For example, if you get 2 novelty rolls at 12.50 a piece, and 2 regular rolls at 5 bucks a piece, you will not pay 17.50 (which is what I thought you might), but you will pay, in fact, 25$. The best way to combat the perceived short shrift on a return on investment is to either get rolls that are all similarly priced, or be like me and just get plain tuna rolls. Post long run, I can skate by with 4 plain tuna rolls, a soft drink, tax and 18% tip (pretax) right at 18$ or so. Tallboys of Sapporo aren't too bad either - maybe 7 bucks if memory serves me right. Overall: 4 out of 5 Realistically a 3.75 experience that rounds up. Wouldn't go if it were any further away, but it's nice to have an old stand by.

Came here with my husband on a Sunday afternoon and seated right away. Server was polite and attentive throughout the meal. They have a couple of gluten-free options so I chose the Pad Thai. The portion was definitely enough for two people. It came out nice and hot it was very flavorful. The side salad is a typical Asian salad with fresh ginger dressing on top. Restaurant was clean and comfortable.

  • Susie M.

The pho was nasty. Like really gross. Like they dumped a packet of top ramen seasoning into a pot of beef broth made fresh from the carton. But maybe thats just what you get when you order pho at a thai restaurant...The server was polite.

On a bright sunny day we entered here and the place was dark and empty. The wait staff was busy in her phone and did not acknowledge us for a few minutes. My husband is all for first impressions and this place didn't sit well then on. Between both of us we ordered Tom Kha and Miso Soup and my Tom Kha was perfect to the T but Miso was just not so flavorful broth. We thought of splitting the main course and ordered a Chickne Panang Curry which was majorly full of Green Beans and some chicken and a little bit of pepper here and there. We like my curries with variety of veggies and do not like to eat a whole string bean. The chicken was quiet undercooked as well. No reason to go back.

Thai noodle is great. Sushi. amazing. Fried rice. Even better. I recommend the TNT roll, or the Hurricane roll.

  • Karthik R.

Food is good but service could be better. Place was very noisy. A bit of music could help the noisiness of people at the restaurant. Waitress was yelling as she couldn't hear us due to other people being loud at other tables. Definitely needs some music. Service could be better as the days we ordered wasn't what we got. During weekends more waiters would help the long waits as well as the hostesses being at the front rather than busing tables and helping out in the kitchen.

Hello fellow vegans and vegetarians. You may know me by now to keep you all aware on where the good food is. That said, I can keep this review very short, very sweet. They have a Miso Soup explicitly labeled "Vegan Miso Soup". Whenever you see something that blatantly makes that claim, sometimes it makes you wonder... "Is their definition of Vegan the same as Vegetarian?" So my wife asks, what is in the Vegan Miso Soup. Fish Stock. Vegans and vegetarians, do not trust this place. This experience was months ago, and yet they still have it described on their menu as Vegan, even though we let them know that they should change the name of the item. It's one thing to misunderstand or miscommunicate the name of something. But if you are a restaurant and your product is something that people may have food allergies to, or moral beliefs against and you STILL don't correct the mistake, then you don't deserve to run a restaurant. That's gross negligence. That's asking for a lawsuit. Again, vegans and vegetarians, stay out.

Curteous wait staff and food is good - a lot of variety but nothing that knocks your socks

Met a buddy here for lunch and I usually get the same thing when I go to a new Thai place to help me gauge how good it is, the Pad Thai.. First, we I brought my 2 year old and the waitstaff was fantastic.. Our waitress was very helpful and pleasant... Now to the food, the pad Thai was ok, not great.. Ordered it spicy and the spices they use were actually pretty good. The problem I had was that the sauce was too sweet for me. The nice thing was a decent amount of shrimp in it, though no tofu in it which was weird and the ratio for sprouts wasn't very good. Good size portion.. Don't get there after noon, the place is packed!!!

  • L P.

This place still gets 5 stars. Been back at least a dozen times and the service is still some of the best around, food is consistently good, and they even add new things to the menu every so often. This place does not help my diet, I really have no self control when it comes to good thai food.

  • Cloud R.

Totally forgettable. There were about 4 people in the restaurant when we arrived and the place was poorly lit and stuffy. Waitress seemed very cranky and short-tempered and was not helpful in giving information about vegan/vegetarian options. Either she did not know the definitions of these terms or she was trying to lie - we had to continue asking specific questions to get information from her - does the dish have chicken stock, fish sauce, beef flavorings, etc. When our dishes did arrive, they smelled strongly of some fish/meat ingredient and took away my appetite. Just before handing us our bill, the waitress was suddenly very friendly and caring - filling the water glass, asking if we need anything else, etc. She got boxes for us - my dish was almost untouched and I had to take it home in a takeout box :(

  • Norma G.

I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken for takeout and it was ready in 4 minutes! So awesome! They were steaming hot, had the perfect amount of spice and tasted delicious. Even better, it came with an unexpected spring roll. They have a bar you can dine at, along with booths and tables. I need to bring my coworkers to next time so we can dine in.

  • Cake N.

Pho's are great .. specially sea food one other food is great too.. I usually order Sea Food Pho and Sushi (buy one get one) Between me and my hubby it is more than enough and totally guilt free food .. which then give us some liberty to get a Starbucks across it .. lovely place always full but worth the wait..

    (4)
  • Dan D.

Had dinner there last night and it was excellent - we tried a number of their sushi rolls and each was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service - will definitely be back.

    (5)
  • Chuck M.

Went in for a late (8pm) dinner on Friday. The place was nearly empty, but there seemed to be a thriving takeout business. I ordered from the BOGO sushi menu. I've had better sushi. The portion size was ok, but the rice didn't seem to be seasoned at all so it all came off a little bland. The service was pretty good. I think the sushi is only reasonable as BOGO, too expensive otherwise.

    (3)
  • Korry N.

Very good selection of dishes yet we normally get squid salad, grilled hamachi neck, and best of all buy 1 and get 1 free sushi roll.

  • Robert L.

Good food; good prices; good drink specials. The curry was a little bland but the sushi is great.

    (4)
  • Kelly G.

Absolutely, Hands Down the best Red Beef Curry in Wake County! Sushi is okay but we come here any time we are in the area for the Curry. Delicious, not too spicy or make it HOT, tender meat, great flavor. Service can be good or mediocre but worth it for the Curry.

This place is okay but not what I thought based off Yelp ratings. Way too high for what it is.

  • Katharine B.

Delicious pad Thai and sushi! The BOGO sushi deal is valid every day and the choices are great. This is my new favorite neighborhood sushi restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the service is prompt. I have also gotten pad Thai to go at lunch and the portions are large. Everything I have tried on the menu is delicious and fresh.

  • Satya Abhishek N.

I love the buy one get one sushi offer.. But the taste can be better. Drunken noodles and singapore noodles are the best.

  • Sini A.

The Thai food is fantastic ! The beef dishes are very well made and tasty. Our favorite there is Drunken noodle and Tom Ka soup. I've never had a bad thai dish there. Service is hit or miss.

  • Kevin X.

Atrocious service. Charged me extra on the BOGO sushi. Food was okay. Never coming here again.

    (1)
  • Christina C.

The BOGO sushi was eh but the Thai food was shockingly delish! After moving from San Jose we were so worried we would not be able to find decent Thai food in the triangle area. We got the Massaman Curry and Drunken Noodles. Way better than any Thai food I had ever gotten in NY and nice and spicy. I did ask for it to be "very spicy" for fear it would be light on the spice but they totally delivered. We did take out so I have no comment on the service but a great place close to home that we can order from and they were right on time with the food.

  • Renee M.

I ordered the Pad See Ewe and it was super salty. It's not even authentic because I can tell they used oyster sauce. Hello?! It's supposed to be dark and light soy sauce. Anyway, the saltiness was so bad I didn't even get to go beyond 2 bites. Horrible. Won't be coming back.

  • Sandeep R.

my place to eat thai food, with buy 1 get 1 sushi and their thai fried rice is just awesome .. prices were increased recently but totally worth it ..

  • Brilynn C.

I love the bogo sushi menu. Everything is made in front of you. Super fresh and yummy. The atmosphere is great on lunch break. TVs and a full bar. Ran out of beer I was drinking once and today they have replaced it with something else. Service is pretty good. If you wanna spilt up the check tell the server right away.

  • Jim P.

Really solid noodles. I love the Udon noodles, although I have no idea if people actually eat Udon noodles in Thailand. Other noodle dishes are also great. Pad See Ew is probably my second favorite. Rice dishes are pretty good, but nothing unusual for the area. Never tried the sushi. Docked a star for poor service at lunchtime. Wait time is often long and there is nowhere good to wait - lobby is tiny and there are no benches outside, IIRC. Got seated next to the kitchen door a few times which sucked.

Don't let the two stars deter you from trying this place. Food was reasonably good. However, I've had better from New York and other places in the Cary area. We had a green curry and all it had were peppers, onions, and bamboo shoots. Yes, some places make it different than others. But this place is in the minority. I expected eggplant and potatoes. Did not get it. Also tried the padthai but it tasted more of ketchup then anything else. Again not to my liking since I've had other experiences to compare with.

Food was okay. But tonight while restaurant was still open, they decided to break out the cleaning fluids and clean the floor of other floor. Bad decision as these cleaning chemicals are strong and should not be used especially while there are customers eating. I paid my bill and walked out of the restaurant. While I feel bad for having to stun the waitress and the hostess with telling them. the cleaning odor was enough to make all my food taste bad and I had to just pay my bill and get the heck out of there. Thank you for NOT thinking about the customers in the restaurant when you decided to clean the other side.

  • Ela P.

Great lunch specials- BOGO free sushi, and I recommend my go-to, Pad See Ew. The staff-everyone from the hostess to the waiters-are very sweet, and food comes out swiftly- this place has become one of my go-to's for off-campus work lunch.

  • Cait H.

I really want to love this place, but after my most recent visit, I'll probably always go somewhere else for an Asian food fix. My first visit was impressive; got the Pad See Ew, which was flavorful and good. Brought family back after Christmas and tried the Hibachi Steak. Really generous portions. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps are also tasty, fairly similar to PF Chang's. Last time I went, I got the Hibachi Steak again and it was so fatty that I think I mostly ate veggies and rice. It's really loud in this restaurant for some reason. Last time I went, we were seated fairly close to the kitchen and we could barely have a conversation. This is kind of a big turn off for me, particularly when the food isn't anything to write home about.

  • Shane B.

Great choice for lunch or dinner. Wait staff is super friendly. They do all kinds of Asian food well. Not super as if they specialized in one specific type, but solid. Thai, Japanese , Vietnamese, Chinese, you can't go wrong.

  • Scott L.

Food is always pretty good, service can be hit or miss. Tonight the service was very good. Although the low health inspection score (91?) makes me a bit weary...

  • Chris H.

Went here with a group from work. We had Endame and spring rolls as appetizers to share. They were both really good and plenty of food for 5. Then we all shared 6 types of Sushi - they were amazing. Ambiance was nice and server was sweet and attentive. Will be back.

I have been here a few times for lunch and the food has been pretty good. So I decided to bring my family and of course they had to mess it up! The food is OK but BEWARE of the BOGO sushi offer. We ordered rolls at $11, $11, $10, and $9; then nigiri at $5 and $4. My issue is that they wouldn't honor the standard BOGO free offer. The "free" ones had to be the 3 cheapest items instead of the standard 'equal or lesser value' deal. I mentioned it to the employee and she had no desire to make it right. She blamed the server (who was obviously weeded) and came back with an answer so fast I believe they deal with this issue on a regular basis. The spicy chicken from the Thai side of the menu was more like General Tao's Chicken. Fried and not so Thai at all. Needless to say, we won't be back. I also told the proprietor and she seemed to be ok with that. Oh well, there are plenty of mediocre Asian joints we can frequent.

  • Elliott K.

If you stick to the sushi it's ok but I really didn't enjoy the Thai dish that I had. It was too sweet and tasted like something you might find at a Chinese buffet. I can't recommend this place but I feel like maybe they are trying to do too much (Japanese, Thai, etc) and aren't particularly good at any of them. Unfortunately, they aren't the only place around here that I can say that about.

    (2)
  • Vonetta M.

I haven't been disappointed with any of their noodle dishes (the drunken noodles are my favorite). The other dishes don't taste authentic or great, they're just ok. Do not, do not, do not get the fried rice, it's just brown rice. Do get the Thai iced tea even though it is extra at lunch.

    (3)
  • Greg O.

Big fan of here, whether I'm wanting sushi or a Thai dish. Everything is so fresh and the portions are perfect. The staff is friendly. Never had a bad appetizer, main dish, or sushi here.

  • K V.

I used to like this place and it was so close to my house. I used to go here very often, but I will not return anytime soon. The food quality is horrible and the customer service is atrocious. Thai food is my absolute favorite so it is very disappointing that this place is bad.

    (1)
  • Charles P.

Great food, friendly staff, BOGO sushi. Their sushi is as good as any other place. I usually get the pad thai and haven't been disappointed yet. Last time I got the drunken noodle and it was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you're craving thai food.

    (5)
  • Cricket C.

I think the food is really good here. So far I've had the sushi which has been fresh and tasty, the pad thai chicken and chicken curry (yellow) which are both classic dishes and are delish. The only thing is I think they are slightly over priced. I can get the same quality food for cheaper elsewhere and it is a shame if they were a couple bucks cheaper I'd eat there more often.

  • W K.

This is one of our favorite restaurant. Food is usually good and serving size is generous On my last trip on new years eve, I too got hit by their deceptive BOGO sushi offer. My $13, $13, $6, $6 sushi costed me $26 instead of $19 if the standard BOGO was applied. Service can be hit and miss, depending who you get.

    (4)
  • Rachel P.

I LOVE this place! We have Sushi Sunday for their BOGO rolls at our house and this restaurant is always our first choice.

    (5)
  • Katie H.

Not gonna lie, I haven't been here in awhile. In fact, I don't really know what is prompting me to write this review. What I can tell you is the following: Sushi, not so great. Soups, pretty good. Noodle dishes aaaalright. If you're gonna go to this place, i would recommend the ever popular pad thai, and most definitely the singapore noodles. The ambiance is nice, and waitstaff was friendly. If I'm craving thai and want something local this is the place I'd hit up :)

  • Maria K.

Absolutely love this place! I went here on many occasions with small groups and large groups, tried a lot of things off their menu and always had the most satisfying and delicious meal. Now to break down. The sushi is very decent and there's a special on buy one get one free (that's per table by the way). The land-sea roll is one of my favorites, a great combination of shrimp and seared beef on top (that's right!). Rainbow roll is pretty good too, as well as all raw fish varieties. You always get a miso soup or sweet n sour soup or small salad with your dinner meal. Miso soup is my favorite, but many of my friends love the sweet n sour. I love their seafood noodle soup, the bowl is gigantic, with very tasty sweet broth, noodles, monster shrimp and clams. I tried this soup at Red Dragon and it was way fatty and bland. The Hibachi is amazing and pretty darn close to how they make it in Japan. Most of the entrees are very costumizable, you can substitute chicken for beef or shrimp, or have them all, add spice, reduce spice, etc. The portions are huge, there's a bog chance you'll need a to go box, especially if you order any of rice entrees. Try Pineapple Fried Rice, it's so yummy! The deserts and cocktails are pretty good too. I loved mango ice cream and mango cocktail. To wrap it up, this is my favorite Asian food place that has numerous options. I used to go there more often when I lived close by, but now I go there any chance I get.

Favorite thai place for me and my boyfriend. Great service, and reasonably priced. Came here before for both lunch and dinner. Dinner portions are a lot bigger. Everything we had was great, notably the curries and mongolian beef. Plus, they have a few TVs to watch sports. Their specialty cocktail drinks are also delicious.

I have been going here since they opened and watch the staff and menu do nothing but improve. The staff is top notch and the owners/managers really care about your experience. If you are adventurous in sushi and cannot make up your mind ask for Thai to surprise you. That man knows his sushi. The food is great. You cannot go wrong with the stir fried beef udon or the pad thai

  • Felicia W.

Typical suburbanite American style asian food. Could've gotten the same at the mall food court or Panda express. Very mild, bland. Too much thick sticky sauce. Too much breading. More meat than veggies. When you say Thai and there aren't things like squid or fish soup on the menu and every other item doesn't include some form of bok choy, I always head for the safe item on the menu. The general's chicken (or whatever form of General Tso's they have). But that was even a little disappointing. I think there were 3 or 4 pieces of broccoli. Basically, just chicken and sauce. No onions. No bell peppers. No carrots. No flecks of wonderfully delicious red chili peppers that I could see. :( I mean really, I asked for spicy, 8 or 9 on the hot scale. My nose didn't even start running. The brown rice was good, though. Its not a bad place, it is just that I am sure there are better. Probably good for lunch with a mixed group where there is likely to be a soft palate in the bunch.

Grungy, divey spot with mediocre service and food. Came here for lunch on a weekend with a group of about 12-14. I know I was in a big group, but it wasn't busy, and they still got my order wrong, neglecting to give me the side dishes that round out the lunch combo platter. I'm sure if I mentioned it they would have remedied it, but they were so harried, and I was so unenthused by the place that I let it go. Got the Pad Kee Mao, which tasted fine, but either the stir-fry action was too vigorous, the noodles had been cooked too long, or the noodle quality was low because when the dish arrived, there wasn't an intact noodle in the bunch--they'd all been obliterated to bits. Soda was flat, even after I sent it back requesting another. Judging from the cleanliness of the tables, etc., I wouldn't be inclined to order their sushi and would expect cheaper food all around. They did happily provide separate checks and easily accommodate a big group. Note - this place is alternately called Thai Noodles and Thai's Noodles. Expect more from the greater RTP area. Not recommended. *Not expressly evaluated for The Definitive Thai Eating Guide*

We have only moved to the area recently and Thai's Noodles was one of our first ports of call for a take out. The food had always been good (sometimes excellent), but the front of house can be hit and miss. I don't know if this grumpy girls still works there but she's been at the host desk every time I went to pick up and seriously it can't be that difficult to smile. Plus my husband once called to complain that 2 of our sides for an order for 4 people were missing when he got home (he didn't check before he left) and she promised to let the kitchen know. When my husband got there pretty much all front of house staff had gone home (45 mins before closing) and the kitchen staff hadn't been told they had to make the missing sides... But... if everything runs smoothly, this is a great place and the food is really good.

I was delighted when Thai's noodles in Morrisville opened so close to my home with excellent asian dishes. One of my personal favorites is the pho -- while I might be a little disappointed it's not a traditional pho dac biet (it's missing the more exotic cuts of meat), it is satisfying and the best place for pho in the Morrisville area. I've also enjoyed some of their creative sushi rolls and the chef's choice sushi/sashimi combos. [edited on 1/13/2010 to add ... I still love the sushi and the pho, but as a solo diner, not so fun of an experience. The dim lights and dark walls makes it difficult to read a newspaper. I tried accessing content on my iphone, but there is no wifi and I couldn't even get a usable 3g signal to update my email.

Thai-Japanese, same concept as Shabu-Shabu, but far more delicious. I had some excellent Bangkok scallops in garlicky, spicy brown sauce. It gets busy at lunchtime (like you will have to wait for a table if you get there after 12:15) and watch out for the step down out of the dining room - I watched 2 people trip during the 40 minutes I was there! I will be back when I'm in random Morrisville again.

I visited here last night for a friend's birthday meal, he liked the place so we met up there. It was a good experience. The food was quite good...I tried out the spring rolls, wonton noodle soup, and the hibachi steak and all were very satisfying. I am not a sushi fan but my companions loved their sushi, and from what I understand they frequently have a two for one deal on it. Service is good/attentive, but the food is the standout at this place. Decor is a lot more than what you expect from looking at the outside, pleasantly surprised. Heads up to those who use sugar substitutes, diabetics, etc. that they only have Sweet and Low as an alternative. However, I would go back, good food!

I had their red curry chicken and brown rice earlier this week and it was excellent. I've had the same dish at 3-4 other restaurants in the triangle and this was hands down the best. I wasn't expecting that but now I'm encouraged to try more things on their menu now.

We love Thai food and this one has good Thai food. Until now, been there three times, food was always good! Regarding service and wait time, I would say okay.

Terrible Service. Our waitress Michelle brought out half the table's food and half our party was done with their meal by the time the rest of the food arrived. She never came by to refill our drinks once, and the food was mediocre. I would not recommend, there are much better Asian restaurants in the area.

I found the place by accident. I thought it was a Thai restaurant but it's a Thai Japannese restaurant. I came on Tuesday Night and it's half sushi day. I'm a big fan of sushi so I didn't even look at the Thai menu. Sushi was fresh and delicious. The wait staff are very friendly and cover each other's back. My drink was never empty!

This is our regular spot at least once a week. We love their friendly service (everyone remembers your name) and never having to wait! We have had just about everything here - sushi (BOGO), curry, noodles, apps, desserts, etc.. all delicious! They also have great drink specials!

Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was not very crowded and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Thai Noodles had lots of booths instead of the open plan style of neighboring restaurants. The service was excellent from the minute we walked in the door and our waiter was helpful and friendly. We order the appetizer special - Tuna Tataki. It was okay - the seaweed salad the tuna was on top of was good, but the tuna itself was under-seasoned. For our entrees we shared the Panang Curry with Chicken (ordered spicy) and Dunkman Noodles. Both were delicious and we didn't even notice when we ordered, but both come with a house salad or soup. The portions were large and plenty to make two meals out of both entrees, so at $10 each it's a great deal. Oh, I almost forget, the wine list also was great. Several options for by-the-glass for $6-$7 that elsewhere would probably be closer to $10. We will definitely be back, but next time we want to try the sushi - saw several rolls go by and they looked delicious.

We live in the same retail area as Thai's Noodle so we go here quite a bit. The sushi is hit or miss so we tend to not get it. The one thing I really like here is the Pad Thai. It's got a really vibrant flavor and it's good every time we get it. There are other places around the area that are better for this type of food but in general Thai Noodles is good food for a good price.

My good friend is always wary about eating out with me. I'm that picky. It's why I don't usually review restaurants - because I know I'm picky. So when I say that this is EXCELLENT Thai, you know I mean it. The Drunken Noodles with tofu had just the right amount of sweet to the sauce, and were cooked tenderly and wonderfully. The ginger dressing on the small salad was excellent. My friend loved her Pad Thai. The Thai Tea had an odd plasticky taste. The service was not great in that the lady did not stop by after we had our food, and then we did not see her again. I got up to get help and received it, though. I prefer it when the server introduces herself as well. Overall though, the atmosphere was dark and nice, and I'd totally come again for the food.

Thai's Noodle is a perfect example of a restaurant that started out with great potential and then fizzled into mediocrity. I used to go there twice a week during their first months of operation, and the food and staff were outstanding. Once they completed their expansion things really took a dive downhill. Last night I had my final dining experience at Thai's. I ordered Panang Curry with Chicken and couldn't believe what I received. The green beans in the curry were no longer the awesome fresh beans Thai's formerly used. Instead, they appear to have used frozen beans. The other veggies were lackluster, too, and the salad was wilted and unappealing. The table top was dirty, and I really started to wonder about the low, low 90% rating from the health inspector. It's a pity - this could have been a great restaurant. Instead, it's just another average, slightly overpriced suburban Asian joint. We've got better choices in Cary, so take my advice and cross Thai's off your list.

I have visited Thai noodles several times over the years for lunch. The food is good, the presentation is delightful and the service is always very good. I specially like the Udon noodles and Thai spicy basil. The thai curries are very delicious too. Portions are pretty large. Overall nothing to complain.

The beef pad see eiw has good flavor and texture, and the green curry is pretty good, but we were disappointed by fried rice that had none of the ingredients listed on the menu (peppers, egg, basil, etc). It was just rice. We want to love this place but it frequently seems short staffed, making the tables/booths a bit less than clean and service slower than normal. We'll continue to go here for our Thai food fixes but we'll be watching for a better competitor....

So good, so fast and great price. If you like spice try the Thai Chicken and please try Hot and Sour, it is great! Cross streets are Morrisville Carpenter Rd and Davis Dr.

We had lunch here and both of us thought our curries (red with noodles, and panang) were excellent. Maybe we're not as sophisticated as some of the other reviewers, but we thought this was some of the best Thai curry we have eaten. The fried rice served with my panang curry was more like regular brown rice, but otherwise we couldn't have been more satisfied. As for it being bland, I like spicy food and what we were served was a 3 or 4 out of 5 on the "hotness" scale.

Was ok. Took FOREVER to get seated or waited on, even though they really weren't busy. Seemed like no one told our server we'd been seated at one of her tables. Anyway, she definitely tried to make up for it and was very nice. Food was ok and overall, ok, but there are much better places in the triangle.

Went here for lunch with colleagues on a Friday. Staff was very friendly and polite, however the service from the kitchen was slow. I had the Kung Pao lunch special (meal, drink & spring roll for $8). The dish was average, at best. My colleagues both had curry, and that was a much better choice. Overall I didn't dislike my experience, but I probably wouldn't go back because there are better options nearby.

Most of the bad reviews are years old. I am hear to write a newer review I love 2 dishes here the insane eel roll and the Pad See Eew. I recommend both and the staff is always nice to me. People give this place a try and write an updated review as well:)

Visited Thai's Noodles for the first time this evening. Came back completely satisfied with the flavorful food. The red curry was aromatic and with just the right amount of kick. My wife's Mongolian Beef was easily the best I've had in a while. The entree of ribs was very good. The hot and sour soup was tasty and not oily like it is in most Thai places. The service is great but the food could definitely have reached the table a bit sooner. Overall I'm satisfied with the price and quality of food and would recommend this place.

We used to like this place but had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever here recently. Went with pregnant wife and two young kids. The place was half full and we waited almost an hour for our sushi. After asking at the forty minute mark, they lied and said they were busy and food was on way. At the one hour mark, and me demanding to see the manager 4 times, he finally came out. I literally had to beg to get this guy out of the back. Turns out he was the owner too. He comes out and starts telling us how it's all the servers fault (apparently she never turned order in for 40 minutes by accident) and not his or the restaurants fault. I can't put into words how ludicrous the conversation became at this point. Imagine, owner blaming server, us with no food, owner refusing to be sorry, owner telling us to just give the server no tip, us asking for some sort of discount or free meal, owner refusing saying its not his fault even though food is hour and ten minutes for sushi!, two young kids starving and pregnant wife...me trying to explain that the server actually works for him and actually it is the restaurants fault if someones food takes 70 minutes to come out....etc, etc.... Words can not describe how bad the service and ownership is at this place. When I told him I would not be coming back and that I would also be telling all my friends to never come here, his response was "fine". I would not eat here if the food was free. Marginal sushi with horrendous service and an owner that has no idea how to run a service business.

Vegetarians avoid. The waiters don't care - they don't check with the chef whether item contains meat or meat sauce or meat broth. We ordered a vegeterian tom yum soup. It wasn't. It was made in chicken broth and there was a piece of meat that we showed the chef. The chef got angry and upset. Attempted to blame us and when we threatened legal action then only spoke a bit apologetically. Shameful - I am not going there again.

This place is still relatively new and unknown. I thought the food was really good and better than most Thai restaurants in the area. I really like the basil dish.

My favorite Thai restaurant, Viva Thai closed and I've been looking for a replacement ever since. Well, I've found it. Delicious food, nice staff, nice atmosphere.

Just tried this place recently & must say that it was a pleasant surprise. So far had just tried a bunch of different appetizers -- all were delicious. We will be going back to try perhaps their lunch or dinner specials. It's a quaint cozy atmosphere and service was very good.

Menu had food on it. Tables and seats were dirty. Food took a long time to be served. The miso soup was served lukewarm. Food was tasty.
