If you are ever thinking of ordering catering from Bruegger's from Battleground in Greensboro - DO NOT. My catering order for delivery was made originally three weeks ago. I called once to confirm my order two weeks ago since I had never ordered from there before and received no confirmation via email. They couldn't find my order, so I reordered at this point. I then called again on Thursday last week to confirm my order for delivery again - they had it and took my credit card information. I then called this morning at 7:30 am - the time they were supposed to be here by - and they told me they had my order written as a "pick up," to which I told them I would have never ever said, because who in their right mind would drive into Battleground at this hour if you didn't have to already??? Plus, I had given them my address now twice. My order will not be here on time, despite them telling me at 7:45 am that they were already on their way. The general manager argued with me about payment, (by the way - he was the one supposedly delivering my food already,) which I was about to give them when I unreasonably was transferred to him when the person I was originally on the phone with got confused. He told me that it is 5 minutes away and he would be here by 8 - Google Maps has never steered me wrong as says its 13 minutes away - without morning traffic. Let's see if he get's here - OH it's already 8... This is exceptionally disappointing there are no other places that deliver bagels for 6 people in Greensboro besides Panera.

I hate to give this place two stars because like another reviewer stated Brueggers is a solid bagel chain. I have been a loyal customer to other locations, rtp area, but the two times I have visited this location my bagel that has been toasted hasn't been warm at all. I am still curious about how something can be toasted but then given to me cold. To top things off both times they have been stingy with the cream cheese. I wish there was a way for them to measure how much cream cheese they put on the bagels which could then be consistent at all locations. Anyways, the bagels are decent and they have lots of flavors of cream cheese and bagels. My favorite is a toasted rosemary olive oil bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese whem it is made properly. Will I be back? Unfortunately, yes but I will have to pay attention to them making my bagel.

Gregory and his team are a pleasure. Food is great and the Coffee is DELICIOUS! My friends and I are welcomed after a long run, quick coffee pick me ups in the afternoon, and quiet patio readings with a fresh cup! THANK YOU BAKER!!!

5 stars because they were out of salt bagels when I came, but then they made one special just for me! And then gave me and my girlfriend free coffee while we waited. Win

I have watched this location go downhill for a while now. On my latest visit I noticed a 92 health score.... no thank you.

The Brueggar's chain is a solid bagel chain fills that niche between mass produced, quickly served bagels and those quintessential NY hand twisted mom and pops. They even boil their bagels which more than most chains. Besides the usual choices (plain, everything, onion, etc) you'll find some unique choices such as rosemary-olive oil and pumpernickel. Bagels are served as is with various cream cheese flavors or as the base for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The approximately 20 different schmears also come in some interesting flavors such as bacon-scallion and jalapeno. Unfortunately, the eggs used used for breakfast are those prefab types, not freshly cooked. Muffin, soups and salads are also available. There are at least 4 or 5 coffee choices and every year they offer a $99 endless mug deal that would pay for itself quickly if this was your daily morning coffee shop. I've been here many times and the staff has always been friendly, fast and efficient. This location has both free, fast Wi-Fi and a larger than normal, well let dining area.

Starbucks like atmosphere, clean and bright. Best bagels in the area and a decent place to scoop free wi-fi. Weds. bagels are $5.99/doz.

Bistro Burger! If you can hold it - it's delicious. It just happens to be the slipperiest son-of-a-gun this side of the Mississippi. Eating this baby is like catching a greased gecko in an ice rink, but it's delicious. You can get a burger anywhere, so there has to be a good reason to drive to Bruegger's for this one - and there is a good reason: The sauce. It's spicy (spy-saaaaay) and sweet and once you figure out how to hold and eat this thing, it completes this nifty - if oleaginous and evasive meal - worth the trip. I'd be willing to make the trip anywhere in Greensboro if they had good Chinese. Where's the good Chinese in Greensboro?
