Standalone Starbucks in Cornelius Cornelius has two Starbucks and some poeple get them confused. This is the one on the corner of W. Catawba and One Norman Blvd. The other is inside the Harris Teeter off of Jetton Rd. I stop occasionally for a quick cup of coffee in the morning as I go to work since I drive right by it. I love Starbucks Coffee and it is always fresh. I generally don't have much time because road construction has made me late a couple of times but service is such that I can park, get out of my car, go inside order and be back on the road in less than 5 minutes. Takes longer than that to go through some of the local drive through. Service has always been great and the product is outstanding.

I've been to this location several times before & they're consistently slow. I have to agree with Mark, it's not a very large location, but they do have a nice patio area. I've never been struck by the friendliness of the employees, they just always seem to be "content" with being there. On this particular Tuesday around lunchtime, the location was pretty busy. I had to wait longer than usual to get my order (which today was a salted caramel mocha frapp). A plus today was an extra large serving of whipped creme, so that made up for my wait. Parking is an issue, because it's in a strip mall-type location.

Ok, yes it's Starbucks. Considering there aren't that many options for cafes in the neighborhood with wi-fi, this had to do. With that said, not bad to work at and get stuff done. And you don't have to pay for wi-fi if you don't mind "borrowing" from a local network, which there are a good number of conveniently. If you're a stickler for following rules, then they do have wi-fi that you can pay for and get a 5 bar connection. As for space, it's fairly on the small side, but also isn't too busy so it's likely that you'll get a seat if you go on a weekday afternoon. The staff is nice and the prices are moderate. My green iced tea was $1.64 with tax. Yes I could have just had that at home for free, but I was paying for atmosphere. So yeah, if you're in the neighborhood and need a place to get your caffeine and/or work/study, this is a good spot.

I am a coffee fiend and choosy about my coffee spots. This Starbucks gets five stars for service and tranquility. Not a very large Starbucks but great service and better than avg Starbucks coffee. Very well run. Been here 8 times and look forward to every stop. Super cheerful and responsive staff. You WANT to give them a tip.
