American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

So adorable and friendly. We bought an assortment of items to take back to family waiting at a nearby hospital. Everything was delicious, and we (over)fed five people for $40!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I had never really had pasties until I found this place. I came in for lunch and ordered the cocktail pasties which were really inexpensive and still filling enough for lunch. The gravy is delicious and goes perfectly with the warm meat filled pasties. I was pleasantly suprised and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I have to give it four stars only because they were out of the veggie pasty, which was my primary motivation in going. Allow me to say-- that aside, I was not at all disappointed with eating the most delicious French fries that I've had in years. I heard from others eating that the beef pasty was delicious (not to mention absolutely massive), and I would be remiss not to mention the turnovers. And to be noted-- all for a great price! Five people (including two bottomless-bellied boys) happy for less than $50!

This pasty is the real deal. Great crust; perfect filling. BIG. Can never say better than grandma's - but this was as close as it gets. Filling to crust ratio is perfect; very tasty meat too. If you like gravy...theirs is very good. If you want carrots included call ahead and they'll make it to order. We went back for extras to take along on our trip. Wish I'd gotten more :-(

This place makes me incredibly happy. I wish there were more onions in the pasty but it is very near to perfection. I only allow myself to eat here when I've really earned it. It is a serious meal and a mighty reward.

Do not miss this place if you are in Missoula! It is one of the best restaurants, EVER! The meat pies are one of the best things that I have ever eaten. The fruit turnovers are OK. The prices are fantastic given the amount of food given and the quality. Cute little dining atmosphere with great servers.

This is a small mom & pop shop that has a really good pasty. In my eyes, the best Pasty I've ever eaten was at Nancy's in Butte but this came in a close second!

Great service and delicious food. The pasties ate good, as us the gravy. The porkchop sandwich us A+.

Best Pastys I've ever had!!! If you haven't been to Lisa's you are missing out!! Lisa grew up in Butte America, so you know these are legit! Mom and pop atmosphere and personal service.

Great tasting and HUGE portions. Seriously eating on my pasty for two meals at least. Great little spot that we will definitely return to!

Butte pastys? Oh sure, they're great but you don't have to go to Butte or Scotland. Lisa's got em right here in Zootown! Oh ya!

I like the cocktail pasties the best! I've tried Joes in butte and Lisa has him beat!

Local business with great food. Tastes really good and great price as well. I wish they were open later during the day. Taste 4/5 Price 4/5 Recommend it!!

Not quite sure how this place has 5 star rating? First off super nice staff very clean establishment ,nice prices but it pretty much stops there. The beef pasty is flavorless chewy meat filled with frozen potato cubes. And served with generic brown gravy. The pork chop sandwich was unseasoned and very very dry. Only flavor comes from the hot mustard you can put on it. Fine place if your food taste is of the frozen processed food variety. Could be great if they actually took the time to prepare unprocessed food.

This tiny place is a fine example of what Missoula has to offer locals and out of towners. The family was on a slight detour and planning on spending a weekend in Missoula to check out the sights. I was at the Fort Missoula museum and Yelp'd food and this was the first cafe to pop up with a 5 star rating. The facility appears well kept and sanitary. The airs tag was excellent and attentive, a bit slow on the bill--that's just me. We sat down, were promptly offered drinks and had a brief discussion about the offerings. I haven't had the experience to know what an edible pasty really was. I was sorta enlightened to discover these tasty treats act like a dumpling, empanada Or any other savory wrapped in dough and baked to perfection treat around the world. We shared several of their plates, the servings are large and easy to split into two to save a few bucks. The Italian sausage pasty with hot marinara on top was a tasty sample, the only complaint is my daughter wasn't happy with the amount of heat in this sausage & peppers. I found it delicious and well thought out for adult populations. The soup of the day was rush and delicious cream of chicken soup--I failed to ask if this was scratch made or farmed out. I assumed it was home made due to the flavor and lack of preservative taste. I tasted the meatball sammich, this was a standard toasted hoagie bun with three tennis ball sized meatballs covered in melted cheese-my heart skipped a beat and my salivary glands knew the drill. These meat balls were a great example of real meat balls and no fillers. The meat was tasty, well seasoned and tender-nice work! The fruit turnovers were great for a after dinner snack, I have no complaints and wish this place were closer to home :0)

Full disclaimer: Before today, I never had a pasty, so I can't exactly compare Lisa's pasty to any other... but nevertheless, I've found a new guilty pleasure. Sure, it's a pile of carbs, but who doesn't love carbs? Even the vegetable pasty is chock full of potatoes, but I had to go all-out and order the beef pasty (also chock full of potatoes, which I happily smothered in gravy). I'm not even going to pretend to be on a diet, but this would have to be the perfect subject of a "cheat day." Yum. The combo adds a side of your choice to the order (I went with the fantastic french fries), and a turnover for dessert! Not bad at all for under $10! I got to take advantage of a $6 for $12 deal, courtesy of Yelp, so even better. And the service is on point too. Lots of smiles and eager to please. They even forgave me when I spectacularly (and quite accidentally) knocked over my Pepsi, which may or may not have splashed onto several other diners. Whoops. In any case, they weren't nearly busy enough for the lunch rush, so obviously the secret isn't out yet. Lisa's Pasty Pantry is a wonderful lunch and dinner option in Missoula. Get in there, and bring a friend.

Great hole in the wall place if you're traveling through. The woman who waited on us was super efficient and very pleasant. The soup of the day was yummy (chicken chowder) and the pasties we had were tasty (beef and veggie). They were hot all the way through and definitely tasted freshly made. The sauces (meat gravy and Alfredo respectively) were fine and added a nice moisture to the meal. Price was reasonable and we didn't leave hungry.

A good, filling, mountain meal. All types inside this place, and the service was superb. Big portions at good prices.

Absolutely love this little gem. I always order a few extra frozen so I can bake them at home later. The service is always fantastic. You won't regret going here...

Delicious pasty's! The location is nothing special- unassuming building, nothing special decor. We were only ones eating there. But while we were there, there must have been 15 to go orders that walked through the door. We had the traditional meat pasty and a fried prok cutlet sandwich. Everything was exceptional. The meat pasty is very simple, as it should be, and huge, more than filling. The gravy was a perfect pairing. The cutlet sandwich was cooked perfectly and a very nice cut of meat. I would definitely recommend this place. I can see this as a a great take-out alternative to chinese/pizza.

It will more than likely be the BEST Pasty you'll ever eat! This small, quaint little place is unbelievably fantastic! Lisa, you are the goddess of Pasty's! My wish is that you and your family would want to move to a warmer climate to a place like, let's say Phoenix Arizona!!! Oh my, that would be a dream come true for me, not sure about for you though :-) Food~ these are the best Pasty's you'll find anywhere! They are know throughout Montana for their Pasties And Sausage Rolls. Lisa's Beef Pasty~ tender hand-cubed beef, potatoes, onions, and seasoning in their DELISH pastry, baked 'til golden.... Ask for some of their homemade gravy = a yum-fest beyond your imagination! Veggie Pasty~ lots of fresh vegetables, two cheeses, and garlic yes! Italian Sausage Roll~ spicy italian sausage, sauteed green and red bell peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese wrapped in our pastry and baked 'til golden brown, it's AWESOME! They also have a Pork Chop Sandwich, Hamburger/cheeseburgers, and a few other sammiches, but it's their Pasty that will leave you wanting. So until Lisa and her family decide to move to the Phoenix area, you'll have to go to her place in Missoula Montana. They are easy to find and they are always very busy, so make sure you go early! Plan to bring Pasty's home, because these babies are huge!! I can't wait to go back for another delicious Pasty or maybe I'll get a tasty Italian Sausage Roll next time. Regardless I hope to see you there!!

Place is legit. The beef Pasty was excellent. The meat was great and the gravy savory. The veggie pasty with marinara was good too. Then they brought out the desert turnovers. Total win. Gonna eat here again. :-)
(5)Jennifer T.
Seriously the best pasty outside of butte! Maybe even better than butte's. Mmmmmm love me some pasties and gravy
(5)H. M.
Ok, I'm a pasty newbie, so I can't compare this food to other pasties. But I'm no food newbie, and everything I ate here was delicious. I had the veggie pasty and sampled my husband's beef, both smothered in homemade gravy. Both were excellent. The kids split a burger, which was also awesome. The fries were delish, and don't even get me started about the turnovers. The apple and blueberry were my favorites. I could have eaten a dozen by myself!

Honestly, the most delicious food! So full of flavour and huge portions. Definitely a great place to take hungry kids after a long swim practice. Bonus: very friendly, upbeat, and fast service.
