Best B&B experience yet! Tom and Nancy were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome. The mansion is stunning and the renovations they have made are impressive! We stayed here only one night though I wish we could have stuck around longer. We reserved the Garden Room which was beautiful and overlooked the back yard and garden area. The bed was so comfortable and the entire house was spotless. Tom gave us the grande tour upon arrival and offered us a local beer to enjoy in the back yard. Tom and Nancy had us fill out a time that we would like coffee and scones (SO good) delivered to our door in the morning BEFORE a full service breakfast at their beautiful community table. I cannot say enough good things about these two and this place. I highly recommend the mansion to any travelers making their way through Missoula. We will definitely be back!

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law were married at the Gibson Mansion last summer, and we were fortunate to stay "on location" with them and two other couples in the four room inn. The owners were welcoming and helpful, and we appreciated that they basically let us have the run of the place over the course of the weekend. The Sunset Room was cozy and very comfortable, as were the inn's common areas. But what really impressed the eight of us were the scones, which were delivered to our rooms with coffee and tea each morning. I have not yet come to terms with the fact that I am unlikely to experience such an extraordinary baked good again. The breakfasts, which were served downstairs in the dining room following scone delivery, were likewise delicious. Our family was kind enough to cover our room tab, but I did notice that the Gibson Mansion's rates are very reasonable, particularly given the quality of the accommodations (and scones). I absolutely recommend the place if you're looking for an excellent stay in Missoula.

On our little road trip from LA over Seattle to Denver, we have stayed at a number of different hotels but this bed and breakfast is by far the nicest and most romantic place you can stay at, the owners Tom and Nancy are super nice and Tom is a pretty good cook, great breakfast but what's even better is the fresh baked scones and choose of tea or coffee you get to you door step in the morning just as a little treat to get you started on the right food. They really love this place and it shows, from the service and friendly ness to when you look around this breath taking house with its fresh flowers (straight from there own garden) all over the house, please don't cheat your self by just staying at a hotel here in Missoula, drive to see Tom and Nancy's B&B.

My husband and I got married here and it was AMAZING! Homemade breakfast and scones each morning all from local sources. Tom and Nancy were sooo helpful, we couldn't have pulled it off without all their help! Beautiful house and garden! Worth the trip!

Let me start by saying I usually prefer modern. The Mansion was sweet, charming and really lovely as were the proprietors. Only four guest rooms made for a nice quiet stay. It is close to the freeway, but I was not bothered too much by the noise. We pulled in late and didn't have a chance to see the gardens until the next morning. They are beautiful. Overall a very nice stay.

My fiance and I stayed at the Gibson Mansion while attending a wedding AT the Gibson Mansion. We LOVED our stay here; the Mansion itself is amazing and restored very well! You get all the luxuries of a new structure and all the cool stuff about an old Mansion built in Montana. The breakfast is OUT OF THIS WORLD good! We would wake up to coffee, OJ, and scones that were baked fresh, (still hot) at our door. Then we would get ready for the day and go down to the dining room for the rest of our gourmet breakfast!. The best part is, there is a little board in the kitchen which you can write down what times you want both the coffee and breakfast. LOVE IT! The owners are awesome too; they take absolute pride in what they do and do a great job. This is what America is all about! My advice as a UofM graduate.... Stay here if you are visiting your kids at college, stay here if you want to romance your GF. If you have a family with 2-4 couples, stay here and each get a room... I would rent out all 4 rooms if possible; then you have the place to yourself and that is WAY worth it if you have a larger family. I would wake up and drink coffee in the grass yard in the gazebo... Everyone should drink coffee alone in this gazebo. Everybody

On a cross-country roadtrip with the hubs. We've stayed in over 8 places (Hotels and B&Bs) so far & the Gibson Mansion has, by a long shot, been the best experience we've had. Tom & Nancy are as sweet as can be & her breakfast was absolutely delish! First, a tray with amazing coffee & scones was delivered to the room at our chosen time. Then, in the dining area, we were served a warm baked grapfruit. As the main course we were served 2 poached eggs over grilled asparagus on a cheesy croissant. As we enjoyed our breakfast, Tom refilled our coffees with a smile in his face as he told stories of how this beautiful Victorian mansion came to be. Their dog Peyton is an absolute delight but, fear not, if you're not an animal lover she won't be in your way. The room (we stayed in the master suite) was so beautiful. Comfy king bed, seating area with a fireplace, & a huge balcony. Everything was impeccable. We will definitely be here again!

We really enjoyed staying at the Gibson Mansion. If you're looking for an incredibly relaxing and restful spot to stay, look no further. The bed is so comfortable that we are actually considering buying the sheets that we slept on. The location is the one small downside, as it's slightly away from the center of town. If you're looking for a place where you can walk to downtown this won't be it, but I promise the luxury is worth that small concession. They serve a fantastic homemade two course breakfast every day, starting with a tray left outside your room with freshly baked scones and coffee or tea, followed by a second course in the dining room. Tom and Nancy are delightful hosts who always have a great recommendation for what to do in Missoula. This is a great spot for your next romantic getaway or a solo vacation where R&R is on the menu.
