Awesome food...great service. The food fills you up and reminds you of good homemade cooking. Wait staff was very attentive. Please come to Ca. Cracker Barrel.

Cracker Barrel is our fall-back when we're travelling and can't find a good local place. their food is consistent, flavorful, and there are plenty of options. It's especially appreciated that you can get a variety of vegetables - not an easy thing to do at most restaurants. It's good home-cooking, assuming that your mom was a good cook.

We ate here while staying in Missoula. I remember eating ate these restaurants as a kid traveling across America in the early 70's. I enjoyed them then and I still do today also. Great comfort food. Love their biscuits and gravy.

We saw the billboard on our way towards Missoula. We were in town visiting friends and they haven't been either. I've heard great things from friends who have gone to the restaurants towards the East. We were seated in about 5 minutes. There was a good number of other customers. We got there at lunch time, but they also still served breakfast all day. So there was quite a bit of choices to choose from. We ordered the Meatloaf Sandwich and the Cracker Barrel Sampler. While waiting for our food to arrive we plate with the peg puzzle on the table, which we enjoyed. Our food arrived and it seemed like a lot, especially the Sampler. Each plate was less than $10 a piece and for the amount of food you get it's definitely worth it. The food was good, nothing to write home about mostly because I've had better. It was great for the price you're paying for it. The only reason why it's at a 3 star instead of 4 for me was the service. It left a lot of be desired. We were greeted right away after we sat down, but after we order it went down. We had changed out minds and wanted some drinks but the server never checked up on us until after we got our food so we decided not to ask for them anymore. Which was a good thing because our waters never got refilled and our friend ordered a "refillable" lemonade that never got filled or even asked if he wanted more. This was all during a time that the server actually checked up on us. The other thing that upset me was not only did the server bring us our check in the middle of the meal she actually asked us if we wanted some boxes... while all of us were still eating!!! We polite told her we were all still eating, but still no offer of refilling our drinks even though they were almost gone. You paid in the Country Store as you're leaving. And I would definitely come back to Cracker Barrel just for the store. Not only do they have my favorite, Cheerwine Cherry Soda from North Carolina on sell, they also have retro candies, kick-kacks and very cute home decor.

First if you like good cast iron cookware. Get it here. My wife loves the stuff and we have the complete collection. So we decided to have diner there since it looked good. It was alright. nothing to get excited about. From what others had told me I expected more.

Good breakfast, huge spreads and fast service. Everything is as good as you would expect at a Cracker Barrel and priced the same. My only complaint about this location is that the portion sizes felt a little smaller than other Cracker Barrels I have been to.

Went there for a table of 9 and Taylor (guy at the front) said they cannot add our name to the list until the whole party is there. That has never been the deal. Then he decides, out of spite, to refuse to save a table for us after our whole party was there, and was a complete jerk about it. There wasn't any other groups there and we were told 10min wait and we waited 45min. When his manager came over, he didn't seem to care what Taylor did but sat us right away after we told him what happened and apologized for the confusion. The girls at the front counter were confused about the situation because that rule has never been put into place about not seating parties and about not saving tables. Don't go there because of Taylor's bad attitude. They need to fire him for being so rude if they want to keep their image.

Having never eaten at a Cracker Barrel we decided to eat here on a Sunday Eve. We were seated efficiently, and were satisfied with the price and selection. My husband had a Rueben with steak fries. The description on the menu would have you think that you were going to get something out of the ordinary. It was very ordinary! I ordered the pecan crusted trout. It was tasty. The side vegetables were just plain steamed veggies. The salad was fresh greens. Here is the kicker- we hadn't even finished eating and the waitress brought our ticket and told us where to pay. I stated that I wanted dessert and she said, "oh." She then stared at us as if she didn't know what to do. My husband asked, "Is that okay?" She said, "I guess so." I ordered a dessert for my husband and me to share. Before we were finished with it another waitress came and picked up the plate. What is obvious about this place is they are just trying to get as many people in and out as possible. It is not a sit down and enjoy your meal kind of place. It was hurry up and get out of here.

Very very friendly. Loved the service. The waitress was very attentive and my food was served literally within minutes of me ordering! I would give 5 stars, but the chicken and dumplings werent as awesome as I hoped! Needed just a bit more flavor and salt. Otherwise, definately would go again!

This Cracker Barrel was right next to the hotel and the parking lot was FULL, so we thought what the heck. A nice enough girl greeted us and took us right in only to have us standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting for our table to be cleared, cleaned, and dried. Seriously I timed it. We stood for 2 min 37 sec. Just standing. In the middle of an aisle. People who came in went around us and were seated. And we were just standing. Awkward. So we sat. Server was quick to greet. Got our water quickly seemed like it might turn around. Alas, it wasn't to be. He was impatient with my children who are old enough to, and do order for themselves. Food came out in somewhere between 5 & 10 minutes - wished I had timed it. Clearly the only thing that wasn't pre-made and ready to go were the eggs and pancakes. My sunny side ups were perfect. Bravo. The cornbread dressing was also pretty good. Everything was warm, but nothing was hot. Now hold on, it's gonna get ugly....my daughter's 'scrambled' eggs were a flat folded omelet; the chicken & dumplings were a globby, floury tasting mess (my youngest wouldn't eat more than a bite) the blueberry pancakes were burnt. Yes, burnt. They were cooked high and hot in LOTS of grease. All 3 of them were the 'first' pancake and again, they were BURNT! I was surprised by the biscuits, they were much smaller than I anticipated, and to me, were quite salty tasting. Pet peeve: the biscuit was warm, but the butter was rock hard cold. Grrr. Easily fixed by putting it on and letting it melt, but like I said a pet peeve. I did not try my husbands meal of chicken fried chicken with coleslaw and fries but he said it was ok. My oldest enjoyed her mashed potatoes even though when we asked for the brown gravy that was supposed to come with it, the server looked at us like we were requesting something extra. I politely said he had asked whether she wanted brown or white hadn't he? so he looked at the ticket and confirmed she had indeed asked for brown gravy and he brought some out quickly. She ate a few more bites of chicken dumplings than my youngest, but not many. In fairness, the gravy was alright, just the dumplings were so doughy. First, and only time, at the Cracker Barrel.

Don't get the salad. I love going to the Cracker Barrel but this Missoula location was not able to serve a salad without giving me slimy, rotten lettuce. I returned the first one and the manager promised better on the replacement but it was the same. Next time, I'll stick with my old favorites. They do everything else well, and this is the first time I've been disappointed.

We have eaten here numerous times and each time this restaurant has pleased us immensely. After our disappointment with our Hilton Grand Hotel charging 9.50 for a continental breakfast in their rinky dink dining area we decided to head down the road to Cracker Barrel and get personal service, hearty servings and homemade cooking. Wow. What a great breakfast and the pancakes were wonderful, not the cheapo kind you get at some restaurants. The price for our meal was about 9 bucks each plus coffee. Thank you Cracker Barrel for saving our breakfast time during our visit to Missoula.

Great place. Wish we had one in Seattle area. Good food and service. Worth stopping in while on I90. Decent breakfast options and service was pretty good. I will be back again on my business trips across the states.

Ok but not great. I found much better places to eat nearby. Don't get the dumplings. They tasted pastey and old. Not like any I ever had. Waitress was fine. 9 dollars for turkey dinner plus 2 dollars for cup of coffee. Coffee was good but not that good and dinner was more like a lite lunch. 3 stars because all the help was nice but food so so

My husband and I have been to far more Cracker Barrel's than I care to admit, but the Cracker Barrel in Missoula, MT is our favorite. The food was exactly the same as every other CB we've been to (except for the slight regional variations), but the staff members were by far the nicest and friendliest we've encountered. After being in Montana for several days, enjoying Glacier National Park, and in general falling in love with the Northwestern part of the state, we drove into Missoula dead set on finding jobs there and staying. We saw a CB and sat down to discuss our plan. We ended up talking to our server about the area and she gave us suggestions on where to apply for jobs, what schools and neighborhoods she recommended, and what to expect in regards to Real Estate prices. She did this all while still providing the tables around us with great service. Our meal was good as usual (I am slightly obsessed with the Chicken 'n Dumplins) and we were happy we had stopped. When we left, several people told us they hoped that we came back to live some day. Apparently word travels fast. It was sweet and when I think of Missoula, I think of the amazing people I met there. Hopefully we'll make it back there soon.

Happy to have a Cracker Barrel in the NW! If you like good, old fashioned comfort food then this is the place to come. Their beans and biscuits are the best. Apple dessert is delicious. For a chain American style restaurant, Cracker Barrel is always my first choice.

We always seem to come back here for a nice breakfast. In the 3 months we have been in Missoula we have not been able to find a mom & pop breakfast place to eat. We tried 2 other places, one was soooo over priced & the other is a hit & miss with what you get. We love Cracker Barrel but I just can't give it a 4 star rating.

I like everything I've ever had at Cracker Barrel although I do have my favorites. The pancakes are amazing and the hash brown casserole is a must try. If you like dessert you will love the coke a cola chocolate cake.

To go order. No dressing with salad. Had to drive back. Our fault. Chicken n pineapple salad good. But fresh ingredients would make this spectacular. Added sugars to canned fruit? Ick. Blackberries tasted odd too. great idea, but you should really use fresh fresh fresh. that would make this an over the top salad. Rueben great. Mac n chesse good but overpriced. everyone who works here? are over the top.

Wonderful meal! Portion size was bigger than the Billings location. Food came quickly & was hot. Our server Kelsey, was very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert. It was ehhh....really not cake like & dried out. Would return!

I was surprised at how expansive this place was. It was definitely trying hard to capture the homey feel and it did it well! I'm not quite sure about entering through the store to get into the restaurant, but I can't blame them for trying to capitalize on merchandise sales with diners. I found what I ordered pretty tasty although the servers weren't the most friendliest I've every dealt with.

I've never been to a Cracker Barrel before, but I was craving mashed potatoes, so away we went. We'd spent a long day driving and some comfort food sounded spectacular. And that is exactly what you will get here. Comfort food, home cooking style. I had the vegetable plate, which is basically your choice of 4 side dishes. I was really after the mashed potatoes and gravy, but the coleslaw and fresh corn were yummy as well. My 12 yo son had the bacon cheeseburger and proclaimed it the best ever. Sunday night of a holiday weekend, so the place was pretty busy, but we were waited on and served quickly. Everyone was very friendly. All of the staff said hi and greeted us as we came in. The place isn't top-notch clean but not dirty either. The food was comfort food in the extreme but tasty and what I expected. No disappointments. I don't give it more than 3 stars, cuz I'm picky about my favorite restaurants, and you seriously can't give this type of chain-restaurant food a 4 or 5 when there are so many others worthy of that level. Need some warm, tasty vittles, this is your place. Want an "experience" or the chance to try something different, not so much :) Enjoy!

Amazing as always. I can't comment on anything other than breakfast, but I'd fly here just for the pancakes!

Like any other cracker barrel in the chain, It is good food, huge portions at decent prices. The location is kind of out there- right next to exit 101 off I90 and off N. Reserve/Grant Creek Rd next door to hotels like the C'mon in and Motel 6. They do have bus parking on the back side and can accomodate groups. We met some of my friends for breakfast and we all left happy, full and wishing we hadn't ate so much! I got the country fried steak with two eggs cooked how you wanted (over easy for me) with a side of grits, two biscuts and gravy and either hash brown casserole (my choice) or some apple thing. That with a cup of coffee and water and my hangover was cured! All that food for $10! can't beat it.

I came here after a recent good experience on my way through town, we got seated right away and ordered a few iced teas to accompany out wait. The servers name was Dayren. A nice guy who knew what he was doing. The whole restaurant was packed full, we got ready for a long wait but to our Surprise, the food came just ten minutes after we all ordered, it was amazing, the food was great (what you would typically expect from a Cracker Barrel.) The atmosphere was a little loud for a Friday night, but that's okay. Our bill was astoundingly small for three people who all ordered a full size meal. But the best part, the reason why I gave this place five stars. Was simply that we sat down at 5:45, and left the building at 6:15. If you're looking for a quality place to eat but not looking for the price, stop in. I defiantly know I'll be back.

A southern Applebees. I always end up here. Probably because my Grandma, who lives in Mizoo likes it and so does my parents. Its not my first choice for food but it's decent. Prices are pretty good, probably because they don't serve alcohol. Dishes are $7-10. Breakfasts are my favorite. Hasbrowne Casserole with Country Fried Chicken and Sawmill Gravy. Oh yeah. When I can't splurge on calories, I go for the catfish or sirloin. You can get Greens, steamed veegies, baked potatoe or various other sides. Puzzles are at the table for your amusement. Gift store at the entrance while you're waiting.

It's been quite a few years since I've been to this restaurant, so I didn't know exactly what to expect after these years... Besides good food of course! I ordered their Bacon Cheese Burger, (with Colby cheese) When I received the burger after about 15 minutes or so, I noticed they gave me cheddar cheese. Not really at all a big deal. I first tried the fries... Cold! AH shoot, I'll try another... Barely warm... THIRD TIMES A CHARM?? NOPE COLD! With only a few flaming hot fries, I requested a new side of fries. The burger its self was good, not warm at all really but I ate the whole thing and it tasted just fine.. Besides it being room temp. After about 10 minutes our server came back with the fries. He was kind and apologized multiple times for the inconvenience. The atmosphere is nice, a lot of antiques and what not along with a little gift shop connected to it. I recommend this place, but just quickly make sure your food is up to par so you won't have to wait to long for what you want!

So I wish we could give half stars because I'd give a 3.5. They are "almost" a 4 star, but not quite. Very friendly, great breakfasts for cheap. I'd give the breakfasts a 4 star rating. The store is annoying though and the wait on weekends is long. The dinner menu is okay.. I've had chicken and fish but they came out luke warm and the veggie sides both times were almost raw, cold and unseasoned. I had to ask for butter and lemon to put some flavor on my broccoli because it was literally dry, hard, cold florets. I'll keep trying because the prices are so good but I definitely am cool with the breakfasts.

Excellent dinner after long day's drive. Good service. Gluten free selections made us pick this place and we were not disappointed. Goodies in gift shop are over priced but probably keep restaurant prices reasonably low.

As usual yummy!! I had the meatloaf with the hashbrown casserole and carrots. Their carrots are like candy sweet and tasty. My husband had the chicken and dumplings which he had the fried okra, corn and mashed potatoes. He said it was very good. One thing about Cracker Barrel is they are always consistent with their food and quality. Service was a little slow but they supposedly short on staff that night but not our fault. One thing about them too is they have amazing tea, but it does, beware keep you up at night. I don't think either of us slept a wink all night. But fabulous sweet tea. Huge portions with no room for dessert and I know that they all sounded great. And who can resist the cute gift shop that is so cleverly placed that you have to wind your way through it to get in or out of the restaurant. Darn!!

Not worth the stop, bad service, cold food, dirty tables, keep driving the truck stop up the road is better......

Store area is completely cramped. Waitress struggled to split up separate checks. She did an overall good job but could've used some backup for a large table.

Home cooking at a low cost, but not very exciting. Hard time finding something on the menu to interest me. Vegetables are extra. Friendly staff but they are so used to fast in & out that they push a bit.

Spent last weekend in Missoula and ate at the Cracker Barrel based on a friend's recommendation. Was somewhat disappointed in the food. All (or most) menu items come with two sides. Both my sides (pinto beans and cheese grits) were barely warm. My waitress was very apologetic and offered to replace the sides. I declined as I was very hungry. My main dishes was their catfish which I found very tasty. Minor complaint there. I was expecting catfish fillets, but got "nuggets". No big deal as it was very good. Corn bread muffins were good. At bit on the sour side as I prefer my cornbread a little on the sweet side. I will be returning to Missoula in July. Doubtful I will eat here again.
