Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

After reading reviews I figured I'd try it out...it is exactly what people have said. A lot for your money! A ton of variety! Even sushi(ok, not the best, not the worst). Soda is only a dollar, free refills(they are very prompt about refilling), we were probably asked 5-7 times for refills during our meal! It started to get a little humorous. But all in all, I would go back when craving Chinese or some seafood!

As far as buffet's go this one is pretty good. Read about poor service but have never experienced it ourselves in several visits. Not to the same standards as a buffet in bigger cities but it is by far the best I've found in Montana. Lots of food for a very good price.

I love all of the "Ugh I've had way better Chinese food in California/China/Etc" reviews on here. Dude. It's a $10 all-you-can eat Asian buffet in Western Montana. What the hell were you expecting? Go Instagram something you entitled hipster. No, haute cuisine this is not. It may not even technically be considered 100% food by USDA standards. What it is, however, is a mind-boggling assortment of food-shaped wonders battered, fried, and gently caressed by heat lamps, as much as you can fit into your hungover gullet for about the cost of a Martini downtown. The socially anxious and xenophobes need not worry-- if the prospect of shoveling down plate #4 while your beady stoner eyes dart all over the room trying to avoid the stare of your angry, judgmental waitress inspires fear, they will happily give you a go-box for carryout (and to test the functional strength of 2mm thick polystyrene). No, the sushi is not made by Jiro, but it is somehow horrifyingly addicting. No, this is not where you go for a nice meal out on the town or to experience high quality chinese food. This is a bastion for the hungover, the stoned, and the ravenous-- it is where dreams are made, stretchy pants are mandatory, and every helping comes with a side of bliss, shame, and regret. It is truly a magical place.

Waste of my money I've had way better Lomein was mushy most things tasted the same ohh and when I ask the waitress's she was so lazy that she motions and in a rude way points to the buffet to get my own where most waitresses would bring you one She did not even want to refill my drink wowww I have a $1 tip I should not have even left that!

The food is beyond terrible. It is borderline inedible. This place is not clean either and smells dirty. The food sits under heat lamps for hours and is never replaced with something fresher. I've noticed the only people that like this place are people from Montana. If you knew good Chinese food you would never come back to this place.

China buffet has good food.. But the staff makes you feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome! So unwelcome in fact, that asking for a refill on your soda is terrifying. I don't exactly expect world class service at a "self serving" style of restaurant but I do expect to be treated as an appreciated guest/customer. They eyeball you the whole time like your gonna steal their silverwear or something. Its just awful really. Horrible dining experience. I dont know how paying customers are treated in china but here im amereica i sure as hell appreciate a simple smile, hello and welcome and how can i help you. Words these people apparently haven't herd of.

Good as far as Chinese buffets go, but most of them (IMHO) are pretty much the same. I'm not from the area (I'm from the Los Angeles area) and come here with family when we visit. The food is no where near authentic (I'm Chinese, and grew up in Taiwan) but it's good for Americanized-Chinese food. The 'sushi' seemed better last night than it was previously (last April and last December) which was a plus. As long as the food isn't sitting around for too long and is relatively fresh, it tastes good. The dumplings/dimsum selection is pretty sad, and I never eat those; but I'm used to really good, authentic dimsum some of which would probably not go well here (shark's fin, chicken feet, shrimp, BBQ pork, tripe, etc) Their selection is varied which works well for my kids. Don't go there expecting authentic Chinese food or anything spectacular.

Missoula is one of my favorite towns in the US and I look forward to visiting at least once a year. During each visit I almost always ask my brother to take me to the China Buffet. I bet you are asking why would a person who lives in San Francisco want to go eat Chinese Buffet when he goes to Montana, I would think the same thing, however for some reason I really like the food there and the staff is always very friendly. The selection is very large and I always leave a very full and happy man. If you are craving Chinese food and you happen to be in Missoula then I would not suggest any other place.

China Buffet = Best Hangover Cure EVER. i can't eat here all the time otherwise i would probably be many pounds heavier. but this place rocks. 7 buck and I can eat to my hearts content all the fried shrimp and sweet and sour chicken i want. Honestly I even love their sushi and i'm a sushi fanatic. coming here with a group of friends or family is great, inside its pretty busy with everyone bustling around but what can you expect from "in my opinion" the best Buffet in Missoula.

Food had to have been sitting out for hours. It was disgusting. I will not be returning. I couldn't even finish half my plate, let alone go up for a second trip, I walked out and completely regret paying for the few bites I actually did take. I expressed my disappointment to the cashier and she didn't seem to care, she only wanted my money.

HUGE fan of this place...For Missoula, Montana this place is a hidden jem! Cheap and the quality it's bad at all...Lunch is under $8 and dinner is under $11 W/ Crab Legs!

Great buffet place! Huge selection of good food for next to nothing! We paid $22 for two drinks included.

Its a buffet so sometimes the food is better than others. I like it a lot though. Almost always a good selection of food. I would have given 5 stars but the pizza they offer there is down right disgusting. But hey if I want pizza ill go to a pizza joint. The noodles and chicken dishes are great. Good service too. best chinese in Missoula

My friends and I were looking for a quick Chinese food fix that still fit on a tight college budget - we definitely found that here. China Buffet has a HUGE selection, which is awesome. However, the food is greasy and not homemade, but you do get your money's worth here. My only complaint was the water - I just ordered a glass of water and it tasted like it came out of a hose. I'm not sure if it was the glass or what, but I've never tasted water like that in Missoula. When my friends and I went to pay after we finished, our cashier was on the phone the whole time and overcharged us - very rude and inconsiderate. In summary, this place does not offer quality food. It does, however, offer a cheap meal for the hungriest of appetites.

Good Chinese buffet. Staff was all business but the food was plentiful, hot and good.

Honestly, I do not like buffets. I was taken here by a foodie whose taste I trust... Having said that, this place was amazing. For a lunch that costs less than $7, you get to prove just how gluttonous a human can be and test the boundaries of your digestive system. Now, it is a buffet and it is less than $10, so if you're a food snob, stay away.* It's better than any mall Chinese food and on par with most standard local Asian restaurants. Oh, and there is prime people watching and they for some mysterious reason have the best mac & cheese I've ever eaten. Overall, you will get some misses on your plate, but does it really matter? I'm heading back for my next hangover meal. *The foodie that took me there wants me to add that they have the most authentic dim sum dishes he's had in town.

I'm giving this 4 stars. I was going to give it 3 but the people were nice, the restrooms were clean and the foods was fresh at 2 PM. it was all good for Missoula but I have had better selections else where. But all in all when in Missoula it's pretty good and would recommend it

Lunch time is really cheap here. The food tastes very generic to me and this place can get really busy. They've got a lot of seating so they easily accommodate the hordes of people that walk in and out of here. If you're looking for cheap eats and don't mind the food tasting very generic, this might be the place for you.

Last time i went was for a birthday party. Two people In our group waited almost 30 mintues for there drinks after the asked 2 different waiters and they were both rude about it. I sat there without a drink for 20 mintues with them walking past and picking up the plates off our table!! The worst service i have ever had!!!! Ever tasted like it had been sitting there forver.

Impressive spread, especially if you like seafood. I'd tell you to stay away from the sushi, but I think that's just common sense.
