I like this quaint little joint. It's close to my house, reasonably priced, and fast. So far, I have not had a bad meal. If you get a gyro, they will definitely fill you up, so come hungry. If you're really short on time you can get any food to go. I'd say the only downfall are the hours of operation. I've gone there a couple of times and found out they were closed. Give it shot if you're around, I think you'll like it!

What a great place to come and eat some fantastic food! My personal favorite is the lamb platter. Lamb is cooked just right, and full of flavor. The brothers that run the restaurant are very friendly and easy going! A favorite local business here in the zoo!

I had the beef gyro (lamb is only available by the platter). I got it with feta and extra tzatziki to dip my Green (seasoned, lemon juiced) fries into. OUTstanding. Friendly, clean atmosphere, super prompt service. We had take out, but there were several four-top tables to dine in. The pita was fresh and the sauce had nice chunks of cucumber. I would definitely return. Not a large menu, but what they do have they do well.

Understand this is a restaurant where you stand at a counter to order messy food that comes in a plastic basket. It has the typical atmosphere of a strip mall restaurant that has their menu hanging on the wall. What is not typical, however, is this food. This FOOD! I've only been in town a day or two, but this is the best food I have yet found (including the local favorite The Silk Road). They describe the meat in their gyro as "perfectly seasoned beef" and it's not hyperbole. It's a bit salty, but the tzatziki sauce balanced it out just perfectly. The pita was also delicious. I don't think they were homemade, but they're fresh, warm, and a little crispy around the edges. I also ordered the Greek fries and my God were they amazing. They are battered fries, fried to order, topped with dried oregano and lemon juice...and they are perfect. Great naked or with ketchup. Seriously might be the best fries I've ever had. Portions are great; I couldn't finish my lunch. Prices are totally reasonable. I will absolutely be going back here a lot.

High priced because of the area, but really friendly service. The food is nothing to write home about--but much better than Taco Bell, Wendy's and Pizza Hut if you're caught near Walmart on Reserve.

Overall very good. I am probably a tougher grader than most and it is hard for me to give fast food more than three stars unless it really stands out but I was very happy with my meal. I ordered the gyro platter and no sooner had I gotten my drink and found a table, my meal was already served. The platter was HUGE and half would have been just fine but I didn't complain all that much once I tasted the meat. The gyro itself was very good and it was quite flavorful. The pita bread was good, but it did not stand out in particular in comparison to other pitas that I've had and the gyro sauce was good, but it fell a little flat. Toast the pita a little more and make the sauce more robust and this place would definitely be worthy of a strong 4 stars. Overall, I would recommend this place and I will plan to return

Don't waste your hard earned money . Should have turned around and walked out when we got the sideways unfriendly look when we walked in . Since it has all the stars we decided to let it go. The food was as bad as the service overpriced and over salted . Way to much bad dressing on the salad . If you are traveling and need a meal you can digest go to Wendy's it's one block up the street

I love gyros and I try to eat them whenever I can. So when I eat them at popular spots across the country, none compare to Ambrosia. Arguably the best gyro that I have ever had. When I talk to other people about gyros, nobody believes me when I say the best gyros are in Missoula, MT.

I've been here a few times since the Restaurant opened and it only seems to get better! I had the Lamb Platter today. The lamb was wonderfully prepared, the salad was perfect and the place was busy and full of energy.

Picked up dinner the other night. I was surprised that half of the tables in the dinning room already had chairs stacked on them; I found that to be rather unwelcoming. If you're open, be OPEN! start closing when it's closing time. I digress... I ordered a gyro and spanikopita. The gyro was juicy and delicious. I felt that the spanikopita was dry. I would definitely go back, just sans spanikopita.

Bleh I was not impressed. I had the gyro and Greek fries. The gyro meat wasn't tender and by itself it was not tasty. The Greek fries tasted like old oil. Definitely not impressed. Service was friendly and fast though.
