The huckleberry flapjacks are amazing! Great staff, great vibe! I highly recommend!

Truly a diamond in the rough way out in the far reaches of northwest Montana. The people were friendly and helpful. The food was plentuful and cooked with care and gooood. The atmosphere was like being at home with family and friends. The best part was the homemade Huckleberry syrup for the pancakes. The menu was a entertainment in itself. A local artist adds humor with reality...

We were going through town and decided to get off the main road and go to the old downtown. My experience has to taught me that this is usually the best way to mix with the locals and have hometown cooking. I couldn't be more wrong. The place was only 1/3 full, so we expected to be in and out of there in no time. We waited 75 minutes for our breakfast to come. 2 other people where seated next to us when we arrived and their wait was just as long. What made matters worse was the owner was seating at the counter talking politics the whole time and didn't lift a finger to help in the kitchen, despite the fact that he was dressed in cooking attire. We both ordered eggs over medium. Mine came runny and my partners came hard. I am not a big eater, so I choice only 1 pork chop instead of 2. Should have ordered 2. That was the thinnest pork chop in the world. Dry as could be. The coffee was thin and watered down. I felt sorry for the waitress, she was very attentive. Stay on highway 2. Go to one of the other cafes in town.

I've been here a few times. The breakfast/brunch is pretty good, and there is a more private room available in the back.
