Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. I love this place! I always look forward to coming here when I am in Helena for business. The food is fresh, fast, and delicious. Service is prompt and friendly too, what's not to like? I had the pesto and goat cheese pizza and it was so yummy. The atmosphere here is very low key, which is perfect if you just want to chill and have good, fresh, pizza. Word of caution, the pizza is on thin crust, so if you like the thick version pizza crust, you won't like it here.

Great woodfire grilled pizza, was packed when we went but very friendly service. Highly recommend the pepperoni with basil and the mixed greens salad with feta dressing was delicious and plenty for our table to share. You can tell the ingredients are homemade.

Visited Bullman''s wood fired pizza in Helena on Sunday for lunch. Love wood fired pizza and we were not disappointed. Two mediums, each half and half: (1) Half Pioneer (Pepperoni & cheese) and half Bitterroot (Pistachios, red onions, rosemary & cheese). (2) Half Feta & Spinach w/Pine Nuts and half Pesto & Goat Cheese. We were impressed the would do half & half; result, a literal pizza smorgasbord for two. Our favorite was the Bitterroot with pistachio's. The pepperoni was great and Pam also enjoyed the Feta & Spinach. I asked for light sauce as I always do. Don't want tomato sauce to overwhelm other ingredients. The crust was perfect, thin and crispy. We will definitely return. On the downside, we got there during a peak period ... the place was packed and it took longer to get served. Appeared they were under staffed for the day, only one server and she did her very best. Pizza: 5 stars, Pizza w/service: 4 stars. Three locations: Kalispell, Helena & Bozeman. Will definitely do Bullman's again!!

When you walk in the door and can smell the yummy goodness , you know it's gonna be good! Great thin Crust pizza, with amazing flavor and reasonably priced. Large selection of local ales. Well done!

Delicious pizza place! We ordered the Pesto and Goat Cheese which had a great combo of veggies and flavors. The restaurant was casual with a good, relaxed atmosphere. The service was great even though they were busy. Would recommend any time!!!

We stood at the bar and chatted with the genial manager for a while as we waited for a booth to open up. It's a pretty small space and it fills up fast on the weekends. We had to wait for about ten minutes for a table to open up. The manager was very friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable about beer. My mom tried the Lewis and Clark Miner's Gold Hefe and I had one of Red Lodge Ales' Bent Nail IPA. Both were delicious. One of the things I love about Montana is that regardless of the type of restaurant, there always seems to be an incredible variety of beer choices from local and regional ale purveyors. Bullman's honors this trend. Bullman's tosses the best pizza in Helena by a long shot and they are in the top 3 for best pizza in the state. Bullman's proudly displays their wood-fired stove in the front of the restaurant for all to see. You can see the flames that perfectly raise that flaky crust. It's hard to describe pizza in a yelp review because everyone in America has eaten pizza one million times and knows what pizza is. So what could be different? Bullman's doesn't make its name by employing unique flavor combinations or a funky atmosphere. And other than that wood-fired, super flaky, crispy, delicious crust it's just...incredibly solid, consistent, and well-executed pizza. Bullman's has a few standard pizzas or you can make your own with their delicious toppings. My brother lives in Helena and he requested the "McHuge" which apparently is a pizza that he orders quite frequently. The server looked a bit puzzled and didn't know what he was talking about. I can't even remember what was on it. All I can remember is that it had chopped garlic and sausage. My aunt was very vague about the beer she wanted, and when the wrong beer was brought to the table my aunt responded it wasn't the ale she chose. So the manager whisked it away and brought her the correct one pronto. The way he handled it was very professional and he didn't make a big deal about it at all, despite the fact that the problem was my aunt's vague order. So kudos to not making a big deal about it. We went around St. Patrick's Day and they had a one-off Irish(ish) themed pizza with sauerkraut, corned beef, horseradish aioli, and 1000 island dressing. It sounded a bit weird so we had to order it. It was delicious. It tasted exactly like a Reuben on a pizza should taste. The flavors were subtle and didn't exclude each other, but instead formed a harmonious balance. I encourage them to give it a tenure track position on the menu so I can order it again whenever I am in Helena. Nice work Bullman's. I love you guys.

This local pizza shop is a good choice for lunch near the Capitol. There were three in our group and two ten inch pizzas was the right amount. We had the Sawtooth pizza which had olive oil, pineapple, sausage, sauerkraut, red onion. The sauerkraut was a surprisingly nice addition to the pie. The olive oil sauce vs tomato was also a nice change in pace. We also had the Cold mountain pizza a traditional pie with pepperoni, olives, Jalepenos, sausage, onion. The service was efficient and the staff was friendly.

The staff were indifferent to our order, the pizza was made in an appropriate amount of time, however the pizza was at best mediocre. The cheese was the worst, tasting plastic or, waxy. If you're going to make a good pizza, invest in quality ingredients. The price did reflect the quality of the pizza, $13 for a medium that was subpar in taste and service. They have a TV but it was not on.

First time in Helena. I showed up 20 minutes before closing and was welcomed in! The pizza is delicious and the people are over the top friendly to everyone.

We went in and ordered a Greek salad and two medium pizzas. The salad was good, and came out pretty fast. We finished our salad and then waited at least 30 minutes for our pizza to come out because it didn't even get started until a while after and then even once it was done, we watched it sit for at least 8 min until another server finally brought it out, by that time it was cold. I would have said something, but our server never came back to check on us. It was like 12 bucks a piece for totinos size pizza with burnt crust that didn't taste much better. I don't get what the fuss is all about. The pizza was not good at all, and the service was even worse.

Pizza is very good, but please put prices on menu. I ordered a pizza with sausage and peppers, the list says, green, red, and yellow peppers, assuming it is one topping with a mix of peppers and I charged for 4 toppings, I think, I don't know got sure because there are no prices.

We had a medium goat cheese pesto pizza that was delicious. The crust was very crispy, which is how we like it. The entrée salads were fresh and the dressings were very tasty. (We really liked the mango vinaigrette.) Our take out order was ready right on time.

What a great idea to stop here for take out while driving on the road verses yucky fast food. The teriyaki salad with poppy dressing was so good & amazed by the fresh and yummy pizza!

Thin crust, wood fired pizza can really be either amazing or terrible. Bullman's was great. Nice vegetarian options on their menu, really good salads, and some local beers. Kid friendly. It's super casual and the staff was very nice, even forgiving us for taking up a table while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. There aren't a ton of tables, so I imagine waits can get longer on busy evenings. The have a pick up window if you just want to grab a pie to take home.

Hands down the best pizza I have had anywhere! Wood fired and delicious! The atmosphere is simple but rustic and sitting at the "bar" makes you feel like your making the pizzas right there with them. An assortment of different beers are available including some foreign ones which were fun to try. For great pizza, quick friendly service, and good beer selection to top it off, Bullmans is THE place to go!

Having built my own wood-fired pizza oven a few years ago, pizza is my foodie passion. Flour used by Bullman's Wood-Fired Pizza is high-gluten, temperature of oven is spot-on, ingredients are fresh, and service is knowledgable and friendly. Crust is more crispy than what I make, but still chewy and yummy: I personally prefer more bubbles in my crust, but every pizza maker has their own style. Very good pizza with very casual ambiance.

Good solid pizza spot. Super tiny, it was packed but that's a good sign to me! Service was OUTSTANDING! And we sat at the bar so the oven guy waited on us. Pizza was really, really good. I can't say enough about the staff. It seemed like a pretty young college crew but we never saw anyone stop working. When the pizza orders were caught up - they were cleaning. When the cleaning was done - they were doing dishes. When the dishes were done - they were folding pizza boxes. My only beef - the pizzas were a wee on the small'ish side BUT the prices were low and reflected the size. Definitely a hit!!

It is hard to find a good pizza in Montana. Being from the Chicago area, I've had my share of good pizzas. This, however, is fantastic pizza in Helena. Enjoyed the simple-casual atmosphere, quick and easy-going service, and location. For a Tuesday night we found seating, but the take out was incredibly busy. Must be nuts on a weekend. Highly recommend, can't wait to come back.

Solid, stopped in on the way thru town. Great service, nice atmosphere, pizza was good as were salads. Would come again.

This is my favorite pizza in Helena. It is think crust and the pizzas are not huge but they are very good. If you are a quantity over quality person, this may not be the place for you. One if my favorite pizzas is the bitterroot. The place is a little small so it can be hard to get a table when it's busy but the food is great.

Purchased a Restaurant.com Gift Certificate for the restaurant. Went to use and they would not honor it. I find it deceptive to not take its own coupon, as such, will not return. Wait Staff, did not bring us plates or napkins, had to ask a second time. Took 5 minutes to bring my Debit Card back after paying for it. The Pizza was cold on arrival.

My favorite non-traditional pizza in town! The barbecue chicken is my husbands favorite! I love the one with artichoke heart! Great for pick up or a nice casual sit down!
(5)Francesco R.
surprisingly good pizza. Had a small for me - and the waitress informed me i could split it in half and get a half of two different kinds, which i did. I had a half BBQ chicken and a half goat cheese. These were both good. Would definitely go back - but since it's a few thousand miles from home maybe i'll just suggest others give it a try.

Stopped by while in town in business. Great pizza at a terrific price. Didn't have a salad, but they looked good too. Good service and pizza made very quickly.

PIZZA IS AWESOME! Seating area is very small and difficult to get a spot at times, but the pizza is worth the wait to eat there r take it to go!
