I got the burger & it was DELICIOUS! We also got Eggplant Parmesan (it was good but have had better) & the Philly Steak Sandwich was good too. Only real negative thing is how small the dining area is. And you'll more than likely have to wait. But all in all, good service & a GREAT burger. I def recommend going as close to open as possible.

This place was off the charts!!! We only went there for dinner because of all the other reviews. And they were not kidding about the food. We are going back tomorrow for lunch. We got the flatbread pizza the cheesesteak one was divine!!' And the Maggie was a great contrast with fresh mozzarella tomatoes and garlic. The service Was warm friendly and attentive, whatever you do GO!!!!

One gluten-free diner & two sandwich lovers found a truce here. I am highly, highly allergic to wheat and so I was very concerned about the availability and cross-contamination when ordering a gluten-free pizza with their flatbread toppings. The "simply veg" flatbread toppings arrived on a pre-bought gluten free pizza. The pizza was crispy and satisfying, but the real kicker is the flavor -- perfect. The fresh basil, mozzarella, and olive oil drizzle mingled perfectly. It was refreshing and filling, with enough for leftovers. Most importantly, the waitress triple-underlined "gluten" and assured me the chefs were very careful when it came to food allergies. I didn't experience any ill effects. My companions ordered the eggplant sandwich and philly steak sandwich They praised the tenderness of the steak and would order (and later did!) both again. We returned another night. I ordered the "Philly" flatbread on gf pizza. Oh. My. God. Amazing. Imagine piles of steak (probably the equivalent of two sandwich fillings) piled on top of grilled onions. I substituted fresh mozzarella for the standard cheese whiz (ew) which was a great decision (no extra charge). I seriously think that has been the best gluten free meal I have had on Marco Island. The owners, Lisa and Guy, are very visible on staff. They clearly like to build a relationship with customers and that, along with great, casual food, keeps people coming back. The bus staff were stellar in weaving around tables and in particular the man who was in charge of bussing and refilling water (an older gentleman with dark hair) hustled hard to keep our glasses full. It was much appreciated. Good service counts. We'll be back, I'm sure. Thanks for a great gf-friendly meal! (Maybe consider stocking rolls for sandwiches?) P.s. I did not inquire about the gluten status of the 'sausage crumbles' common on the flatbreads, so I would be careful and order without, or double check.

Hard to find a restaurant that has more than one vegetarian/vegan item on the menu. Philly's has probably half the menu. Wonderfully tasty. I got the eggplant flatbread and my husband got the cannoli bean salad. Both were fantastic. We arrived at 4:45 on a Saturday evening. Opens at 5:00. We were the second in line. By 5:30 it was full with a line. But, this was "in season". Highly recommend.

Guy (the creative chef) and Lisa (the iron fist in a very pretty velvet glove) run this smallish gem tucked in a non-descript strip center. No better flatbread exists anywhere south of Philadelphia. The Philly flatbread is our favorite -- great for sharing after a bowl of some special soup Guy made that day. Guy applies his creative skills to an ever-changing array of specials: anything Bolognese, beef stew, pork loin, linguine with a variety of ingredients. Clearly Marco Island's most inventive chef. Simple Philly-themed atmosphere, very reasonable prices. No hard liquor but a refreshing, tight wine list (we love the Australian varietals). Small outdoor seating area when it's a nice evening. Really friendly and efficient wait-staff. Consistently delicious. In season, you're going to have to wait for a table. It's worth waiting.

So.. Where to begin? Well lets start on a positive note, when the waitress was caught up enough to take my order, she was very pleasant and a joy to talk with. Lets just say the owner could learn allot from his employees. So.. Back to the reason we are here.. Food! I know how busy a kitchen can get and how easy it is to become distracted, but that being said, It is a sandwich shop. How bad can you mess up a cheesesteak? This place came up with ways I didn't know were possible. I ordered my sandwich 'With' (grilled onions) and the waitress noticed that they were omitted by the owner grill guy.. So he promptly put some onions from the steam table on top of the sandwich. Meh.. if that was the only thing 'Bad' about this experience I would have been happy. The meat looked like it was from one of those Wal-Mart 'kits' or even possibly one of them red Boxes of Steak-Ums or something.. The grease was the only thing that was the correct temp.. to bad it wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese.. The mayo came on the side and was impossible to put on the Amoroso's (?) roll, which would have been good IF it was not soggy from the steakum grease.. The 'House' chips were seasoned with some pepper mixture that I couldn't get off.. Luckily it was not on all of them. But the ones it was not on were covered in the rapidly cooling Steak-um grease and eventually stuck to the plate.. The Ice Tea was so bitter that I politely refused a refill.. My son however did ask for a refill of his Sprite and it got topped off with ice water (That was actually the Hi-lite Of the Meal).. Bottom line.. If your from Philly and want a taste of 'Back Home' food.. Hit Subway up and save yourself the headache and disappointment.. And a Few $$ as well because at $13 for a small Cheese Steak, this place is not worth the trip.. I wanted to suggest to the Cocky Owner / Grill guy as he sat on the window sill telling me how I was wrong about his cold onions, that he should change the name of the place to the Jersey Grille.. Cuz this place is garbage!!

Love this place. The Philly sandwich is a don't miss, and hubby's burger was excellent. My kiddo ate all of his buttered noodles, and he never eats all of anything. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you like spicy, ask for some of their homemade peppers. Our server Alex was outstanding.

Hungry? Go here. I was initially attracted to this restaurant because they advertised vegetarian and vegan offerings, and as a vegetarian, I'm never quite sure what I'll find on vacation. I must say -- this place was a real gem. I had a wonderful flatbread with brie, onions and apples that was SO good, and my boyfriend enjoyed a Philly sandwich. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered recommendations on other places to visit while we were in the area.

This review is only useful in comparison to other chain burger places. I just can't bring myself to give it a 4 (3.5). All you can eat fries and a cajun chicken sandwich which was actually spicy (in Minnesota)!!

Oh Mother of Mary! I can't stress enough of how much I love Red Robin! I am a member of Red Robin's e-club which means you get a free burger on your birthday (actually the coupon extends within two weeks of your actual birthday). You should sign up! My husband and myself have been frequenting the Red Robin in Shorview for the past three years (ever since the Eagan location was torn down for a Best Buy...boo). I've had the Chili Chili Cheeseburger which is a cheeseburger served open faced with Chipotle mayo, Cheddar cheese, diced red onions and topped with chili. Yum! I remember it being messy and I couldn't finish it, but I had leftovers for the next day. I have also tried the Banzai Burger which is a teriyaki burger that is topped with grilled pineapple, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. This is probably my favorite that I have tried at Red Robin. The photo that is attached to this posting is the Guacamole Bacon Burger which included guacamole, bacon, swiss cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise. Note : They will cook your burger with "some pink" or "no pink"...I always order my burgers with "some pink" and I've been pleasantly surprised that a chain will do this.

Love that egg on the burger. The Royal Red Robin was the first burger I had with a fried egg on top. Of course now I've had plenty of similar burgers in other restaurants, but I'll always have fond memories of the first that popped my egg burger cherry. I believe there are only two or three in the entire metro area so finding one of these burger chains nearby maybe difficult. It may be worth it to some people to travel for those unlimited fries that come with every burger though. Unfortunately for me, I'm usually too full after the burger to order another round of those fries (one of these days, it will happen)! They do have pretty good onion rings as well. It comes out on a giant cone with a couple sauces and it's not an uncommon starter to have right away. Overall, they are not bad in my book!

This is the second of my post-birthday reviews and yes, I concede this is a chain review (see my disclaimer below). Red Robin is a burger joint. They have a few unique "flavors" of burgers as well as the classics and they are all good, tasty, and huge. Their steak fries aren't that much better than fries from a freezer case--until you add their seasoning salt. Then they taste much better. Plus, the fries are all-you-can-eat, so you can indulge yourself as much as you want. But the reason for this review is for two specific menu items. The first is their onion rings. They come stacked in a tower like one of those baby ring toys with two sauces. One is a ranch sauce and the other is one that I would describe to you if I had any talent in describing tastes. Just believe me when I say it's yummy. The other menu item I love at RR is their freckled lemonade. It's pink lemonade with cut up strawberries in it. I'm not a huge fan of instant lemonade, but it's taken to a whole 'nother level when you add fresh strawberries to it. It's pricey at $3.99, but it's bottomless and I drink as much as I can when I'm there. Since I was there on my birthday, I got a free ice cream and hot fudge dessert with a pile of whip cream. RR is one of those places that chooses to embarrass you with clapping and singing at your table as penance for your dessert, but I was fortunate that there were an extraordinary number of those last night and by the time they got to me, our waiter just handed the dessert to me and said, "happy birthday." The dinner topped off a fun evening with my family and I can't complain about a greasy, sloppy, artery-clogging meal. ----- Chain review disclaimer: I won't do 'em. You can't make me. Well, ok. Yes, you can. But not easily. I've sworn off chain reviews because chains are supposed to be the same wherever you go. That's the beauty of a chain restaurant. So I'll only do a review if there is something out of the norm for a chain, or the particular location. This will happen if there is something unique, if they are extraordinarily good, or extraordinarily bad.

Stop by once in a while for a burger. Nothing fantastic, but good portions, tasty seasoned fries and decent service. Nice place to relax. Have never found it to be overly busy but maybe I've always hit the down times. Not bad, not great, just a middle of the road chain restaurant.

****If you are going to put a "Veggie Burger" on your menu, KNOW HOW TO COOK IT!!******** Now as a chef that has worked in all kinds of kitchen, I am well aware of the attitude that some chefs have about vegetarians and making anything for them. My problem here is that if you are going to call yourself "the home of the burger" and offer a Boca Burger on you menu, at lest know how to cook it, and don't send it out wrong TWICE, after being told it was only microwaved and not cooked by the customer! If you are not going to commit to doing it right, don't do it at all! We ordered a "Veggie Burger" for my vegetarian partner and it was grey! It had been thawed in the microwave, and then just put in a bun and served to her. It wasn't even hot! When we pointed this out and sent it back, they sent us another one done in the same way. When I asked the Manager to describe how the burger was made, she described a method (from frozen to a microwave, then on the "flat top") that was not the way the kitchen prepared it. When I said again, that I an a chef and could tell that it was not prepared properly, no corrective action was taken. The attitude was "Oh Well". For the price, I could make it better myself, (and have). My issue here is that it the chef can't commit to making something as simple as a Boca Burger right, why even have it on the menu? Why waste the time and effort to do it wrong twice! It was an insult and I will not go back!

Yes, I know this is a chain and all chains are bad (according to some), but as a vegetarian I can't say that I've had a better garden burger anywhere else! They even have two options for meatless patties, a Boca burger type (more meaty) and a Garden Burger (more grainy). My personal preferrence is the Garden burger patty. I get the 5-alarm burger with the Garden Burger patty and my wife always gets the Whisky River BBQ burger with the same; both of us swear ours is the bets. The fries are really good and their salt seasoning is pretty good too. We travel with a full crew (four kids) and it's a great place for families. If loving their (veggie) burgers makes me a sell out, plant a SOLD sign on me!

I don't understand the infatuation with this place. The atmosphere is meh. We ordered the Porterhouse, mashed potatoes, signature hash browns, and broccoli hollandaise. Nothing was great. The price, if I recall correctly, was around $45. For the ambience (lacking) and the presentation, serving me a $45 steak on a hot plate (black plate with a metal insert), I just don't understand it. The steak was ok, but I've had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse for 1/4 the price. I really had hoped for more out of this because it was my wife's birthday and she was disappointed. I definitely will not go back and I'll try another place the next time I'm in the area.

I really wanted to love this place. I really did. Madison has so many good steakhouses, and I was hoping this would be able to break into my normal rotation. However, the meal was just mediocre. We had two appetizers, the bbq prawns and the stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms lacked flavor. The prawns were good size and had a good flavor. I would recommend those as a good option. I ordered the ribeye, which is my favorite cut and what I get everywhere I go. My fiance ordered the filet. Both were cooked very well, but the flavor was just missing something. It lacked the melt-in-your-mouth, ohmyfreakinggod experience of Delaney's or Tornado. Overall both steaks were adequate. For sides, definitely go with the hashbrowns, they were far and away the highlight of the meal. double baked potato was bland. Price is one thing this place has going for it, because their steaks come with a soup or salad and side dish included. Overall, I find it hard to say I will ever come back to this place with so many great steak options in Madison. Just didn't do enough to put it in the same discussion with the best this city has to offer.

The ultimate supper club steakhouse experience! This small cozy quaint spot didn't disappoint. We went on a Wednesday evening and the pack was packed! The bar is great for waiting for a table, the gigantic fireplace in the dining room is fantastic! Our table was a few spots away from the door...which unfortunately given the small restaurant meant we froze every time someone came in the door. A bummer with our seasons and when we go back we will surely request a table by the fireplace! Aside from that our food and service were outstanding. We had the sea bass special that was cooked to perfection and my husband had the cowboy steak that literally was the size of an entire dinner plate...which was also delish. I had the steamed broccoli and I could take it or leave it, but my husband had their hash browns and they were out of this world!!!! Cheddar, onions, potatoes...divine. We also both had the wedge salad that was a classic steakhouse wedge done to perfection! Definitely going back, when the weather isn't quite as frigid or when we can get a table by the fireplace!

I called ahead and made a reservation. When i get there I am immediately greeted by the server. She sits me down and I wait about 10-15 minutes without anything to drink nor a menu. I finally lean towards the server and ask "do you have a menu?" She says "oh yeah am sorry" she brings me the menu and ask if I would like anything to drink. I order water and it comes out. I ask for a straw and never get it. It's now 30-40 minutes and i am ready to order. The waiter bypasses me to take the order for a couple who was seated after me. Now i look around and realize, i am the only hispanic well am the only what the world would call "minority" wow... I got up and left. You can't have my business treating me like that. Their restaurant has a very pricey menu therefore I will like to be treated very well. Never ever going back!

I have been here a few times on business trips. It usually is a quick trip to Madison. But, even if I didn't have to be here, I could see myself driving to Madison to come to the Wonder Bar. Every time I have stopped in the staff is above and beyond with service and smiles. They tell you what's good and they are right. All the time (don't tell them that, lol). The steaks are hand-cut and cooked to perfection. Have I mentioned the wine list and the very sweet waitress who suggested the Bordeaux and was spot on!! Well done! Prost! With servers like Jaycee and the pretty waitress, this place is bound to be a great time!

Our server Katie was very helpful in recommending our meals she had good opinions that matched our tastes.. we ordered the stuffed chicken breast which was amazing and cooked perfectly. We also ordered a steak with crab legs which was their special and both were excellent. Their homemade dressings for the salads were equally as impressive.The atmosphere was really nice. We were lucky to get a seat in front of the fireplace. This was our first time there but we will for sure go back the next time we are visiting Madison.

Wow! This is the best steakhouse in Madison. Not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Nice wine selection, great steaks (go for the Cowboy) and bring your appetite. Four of us ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell, fresh and delicious. We also ordered the seared scallops, again delicious. My wife ordered the surf&turf and loved it. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Overall we rated our dinner and the overall evening at The Wonder Bar a 5 star experience. We will be back soon.

What a great experience. I had a craving for a good steak and found this place on Yelp. Some of the reviews made it sound like it might be hard to get in so we called ahead and they cheerfully said no problem. We were seated right away near the very cozy fireplace. Our waitress was great- I think her name was Briana? She knew the menu and made great suggestions. I had the Cowboy steak, my daughter had the filet. Both were outstanding! Be sure to try the hot bacon dressing on your salad. I am from Chicago and these steaks were as good as any I have ever had at any of the famous downtown steak restaurants. I will look forward to dining here the next time I'm in Madison.

Excellent, excellent food, we had Chilean Sea Bass and Kansas City steak with pasta alfredo and marinara. The bar has the original name from when it was a gangland hangout with characters like Capone and his henchmen frequenting the place when it was a little too hot in Chicago. The place is pretty much original along with the round corner eating areas so nobody had a back to the door. The original escape tunnel to lake has been cemented over and gunfire was not an unknown quantity here. Service was superb. Had a great conversation with the Manager.

This place made a bad day turn out great. I walked in from a cold, dark, and windy Wisconsin winter and was promptly seated next to their fireplace. Instantly I felt much better. My parents took me to this place 50+ years ago [they had nickel slots in the back room,,].Decided to return when it became the Wonder Bar again.This place is intimate/romantic complete with fireplace,a great place for a date or that special night.Both myself and companion had the petite filet which was excellent. Suggest bisque and hash browns[ with cheese/onions] as sides.Service was attentive friendly and very good.Recommend giving the Wonder Bar with its food and history a try!

Went with a group of co-workers and was a pretty decent time. I never knew there was a red robin in Minnesota and when I found out I had to go. We went at around mid-day and it was fairly slow. -Our waiter asked what we wanted for drinks. Me and one friend got a Dr pepper and I got a root beer. The waiter had switched them up by mistake which I can see happening easily. -The waiter then got our orders and had brought out the food and had brought out the wrong one for my friend. He corrected it and said he was sorry. -We hardly got asked how the meal was or if we needed anything else. We got our refills when needed but other then that nothing. -We paid our bills and on the way out our waiter didn't bat an eye towards us or even said have a good day or thanks for coming. Food was excellent but the waiter that waited on us needs to improve a little.

I'm not huge on chain restaurants, so I had never tried Red Robin before this past weekend when some friends suggested meeting for lunch. This place is pretty big, and the service was great. The menu is very extensive so everyone should be able to find something that suits their fancy. I'm not a red-meat eater, so I steered clear of all of the burger options. After reading a review on Yelp, I decided to try the Whiskey River Chicken wrap with a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The wrap had really nice flavor from the BBQ sauce and ranch, but the chicken was not very hot... The soup I would definitely not order again. It tasted like it was from a can and the flavor was overpowered by too much cumin. We started our meal with the pretzel bites. I was super pumped to try these, because who doesn't like a pretzel with cheese sauce?? Unfortunately, the cheese sauce was not great, it was a little thick and goupy. I preferred the whole-grain mustard sauce. There was something different about the pretzels themselves, they almost tasted deep fried... I prefer a traditional pretzel, I don't need the extra fat and grease.

This restaurant does have good burgers, as well as some menu options for those who might want something else. What I do find slightly irritating is the amount of attention they think they have to give you. It is not unusual to be asked if you need anything by at least three different people. I'm not sure why some places feel that frequent interruptions to your lunch conversations are an essential part of a positive customer experience. Get my drink order, get my good order, refill my drink without asking me, and I'm a happy camper.

Red Robin is a nice place to have a burger with the family. They have a nice variety of burgers and endless french fries. Their burgers are above average and one of the better choices on this end of town. Lots of families with kids and a loud room. Service is prompt and consistently good. I don't get it. I don't get why so many people are raving about this place on here? Shills? I stopped in the other night for the first time and in a nutshell here was my experience: A. Ordered their self proclaimed signature cheeseburger. It was average. I've had better burgers at a multitude of joints around the TC. Most of those joints aren't even concentrating on burgers like this place professes. And the kicker, the burger was EXPENSIVE. For a mediocre burger I will not pay these prices. B. Where was the great service so many rave about? The menu said I got free refills on my steak fries. The waitress did not return to my table (it was 8 pm, not busy) until I was finished eating. That means my water didn't get refilled, nor my fries. This is great service. Oh, when she dropped off the food she literally returned 15 seconds later to ask how the food was. I hadn't even tried it yet. "looks good" ?? That was the last I saw of her for the next 20 minutes. Correction, I did see her having a great chat with the apparently dreamy bartender while she neglected me, her customer, the one paying the tip. C. The Steak Fries. Whats the big deal? Could it be the four tons of salt mix they put on them? Cuz other than that they ain't all that. Add the salt and BOOM! you have fries you could eat that night or maybe even 6 months from now, because they've been PRESERVED! As you can tell I was not impressed with this joint. If I'm paying I doubt I'll be back. Overpriced mediocrity.

Bottomless steak fries are a perk. And the onion rings are enormous and pretty tasty. I usually come here for lunch as they have a very good BLTA croissant and their California chicken sandwich is unique as they add an avocado salsa to it. Tortilla soup is pretty good too. Must try their freckled lemonade. My son is hooked on it. Service is usually good. This is a very loud restaurant.

Pho and bubble tea dangerously close to my house! To try them out, my husband and I ordered basic beef Pho and found it really enjoyable. After sampling a few other dishes on our many visits, I'd have to say the Bún Riêu is my go-to noodle soup. I like that they offer a variety of sizes here. There was even a kids sized bowl for my son! We also ordered slushes with boba, I got the green tea and my husband the milk tea. Big fans here and will return.

Been here a couple times now and the food is pretty good. Had the vermicelli noodle bowl today with grilled tofu, tofu was one of the best I ever had. Lemongrass tofu rice plate was great as well. I had an avocado boba drink with it which was tasty and the fried banana ice cream was really really good as well, see picture. Nothing really bad to say about this place actually, well, I'd love to see vegetarian egg rolls on the menu instead of just pork egg rolls. Calamari was really good I remember from a past visit, I also tried a $25 seafood pot one time but wasn't overly impressed with that, just more of a soup. Overall, good place though.

this place SATISFIES! i love their meatball brisket pho dish, admittedly i have to venture out and try more of the menu, its just so difficult when i know exactly how happy and satiated i am after this flavorful dish - highly due to the delicious broth. i claim to be no expert on authentic pho, but i DO know the broth TASTES delicious - and between that, the meat, noodles, and veggie/herb extras you add to the dish - i am happily full after this dish... not bloated from excessive amounts of salt or additives to compensate for flavor which i've experienced elsewhere in the fort worth :-/ unfortunately. needless to say, you need to give this place a try the next time you're craving pho :) cheers!

I recently visited Fort Worth and wanted to eat some Vietnamese food, so I decided to try Pho Little Saigon. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I did not have too much difficulty finding the restaurant, which is located near a mall/shopping center, and once inside was seated quickly. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, something I always stress in my reviews. I had the egg roll appetizer, and I must say it was the best egg roll I have ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant and maybe at any restaurant. It was that good! The pho ga was very tasty as well as the rice dish my companion ordered. The prices were in line with what I would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant, and the service was good. If you have a hunkering for Vietnamese food in Fort Worth, I wholeheartedly recommend Pho Little Saigon.

So this is my first review. Which is going to be filtered out, and in this case, I am glad. Because I dont want to lower pho little saigon's rating. BUT.....I still hated the pho. Ive had it at lieu's, pho nam, pho 95, and both boba tea house locations. I always order the vegetarian broth, with tofu, and it's always delicious. Anyway, I order it, and within two minutes, it's delivered. The broth was GREASY, and the tofu was not fried. It was wiggly, and raw. I guess I am spoiled with the sweet, deep fried pieces. I pick it out. But I still couldnt eat it, with the large pools of oil on top. I push it away, and wait. And wait. Finally, ten minutes later, the server asks if I want it to go. No! It was beef broth. This place is good for meat phos, and spring rolls.

I wanted some hot and tasty pho. I wanted to like this place because its conveniently down the street from where I live. However what I wanted and what I got were totally different things. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The service was great, our waitress was always smiling, friendly and accommodating. But the prices were inflated, the pho wasn't that great and my avocado smoothie didn't even taste like avocado. The pho prices: kids' bowls $4.95, small $6. 95, large $8.95, super sized $10.95. Kudos for having a kid's size; this is my main gripe/wish/longing for most pho places. But wowee I couldn't get past how it tasted. I felt bad for paying as much as I did for my meal. I almost wanted to tell them to not spend so much money on decor, because it's the food that ultimately brings people back. Don't know if I can bring myself to try it again. The owner and staff were super friendly...but dang, it doesn't help when the food is just blah. I'll stick to going to Haltom City for my Pho.

I quite appreciate a place that does a good salad. In my humble opinion, that makes a good restaurant. What makes a great restaurant you ask? Oh, just the best customer service and a super local, super fresh vibe and a super bangin' beer list. I had the Miso Kale Salad and added chicken to it and I left feeling full and happy and like I loved miso even more than I previously did. How do restaurants always perfectly dress a salad? I'm terrible at it, but this was right on. Furthermore, our server Rachel was amazing and brought out our toddler's food first. I realize it's a small thing - but it's huge in our book. It get's him to sit still for a minute and a half. So we always appreciate a server that recognizes that we have a child and do not pretend he's invisible. Overall a great experience, would love to come back and sample more of the menu.

I had hands down the best tofu scramble of my life here...it had cannelini beans & kale & a crapload of other vegetables that were perfectly sauteed. I am heartbroken because I live in Chicago and time travel has not been invented yet. Amazing farm to table menu, seasonal ingredients & a great ambiance & wonderful service. All things considered, the best restaurant in GR. I am a huge fan of this place. The food is absolutely outstanding, the service is always top-notch, and I even dig the relaxed setting and ambiance. I recommend this place to everyone. The brunch is also a standout, everything our group tried was amazing! Terra is home to my favorite happy hour in town. $10 pizzas, $2.50 off cocktails, wine and beer, and 1/2 off salads. The kale Caesar salad is really amazing. I love all the pizzas but the fennel sausage is probably my favorite. I usually get the brown butter tea, which is super delicious and refreshing on a warm day. Their patio is wonderful and they also have a great brunch! They use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and the decor is rustic yet polished. I can't say anything bad about this place. There's even a parking lot. Oh and for those who have kids, Terra is definitely kid-friendly with high chairs and a kids menu that includes homemade baby food. I love Terra.

High ceilings, big windows, and a mix of elements, like stone, wood, and cement give the restaurant a welcoming, earthy feel when we arrived for Sunday brunch. Thankfully we beat the "after church" crowd and we had our pick of seats and a server who was welcomed us immediately upon being seated. We both ordered coffee to start. The menu was short but gave concise descriptions of each offering, making it hard to choose what to get. In the end, my hubby ordered the salmon scramble and I got the goat cheese, mushroom omelet. Both meals came out hot, fresh, and most importantly, quickly. The food was tasty to eat and pretty to look at; even the scramble was artfully arranged on the plate! My hubby enjoyed the rice pudding he got for desert. I assume that the higher prices reflect the fresh ingredients and a commitment to quality that was evident during my visit. Because of the higher prices, I won't make this an everyday place, but it was a nice change of pace. They have a happy hour special on drinks and wood fired pizzas from 3-6, which is a budget friendly way to experience what they offer. I can see how it must get busy during lunch of dinner hours but stopping by at an off time proved to be a good move for us.

Thank you, Yelpers! My husband and I had a great date night at Terra and we had an amazing time. The food was great and the service we received from Royce and all the other employees was so refreshing! They all seemed to care about the customers, the food, and the whole foundation of Terra. The drinks were impressively delicious and I can't wait to try more! We had the Brown Butter Tea, the Dark and Stormy, the Barrel Bourbon, and the Shorts Locals Light. All were great and I love that the ginger flavor is prominent in their ginger beer. On our way out, I had to stop and ask a lady how her Beet Margarita was because it was on my oooh list and she said it was delightful and it will be the next drink I order on my next visit. We ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer and we both really enjoyed it. It could have had more heat, but it was a good heat level for the general public. The blue cheese vinaigrette that came with the dish paired really well, although it could have been a little thicker and less watery, but it was a quality vinaigrette to be fair. My husband had the featured burger, which had beets on it and he loved it (even though he isn't a lover of beets). We recommend the creamy pesto pasta salad that comes on the side with the burgers. We originally asked for chips, but they gave us the creamy pesto pasta salad and it was really great. They make their own pasta and you can tell! Oh so good! I had the Braised Beef Shoulder and the meet was a bit tough and chewy, but the flavors definitely made up for it. The golden and red beets were a great accompaniment. Although we were stuffed, we couldn't turn down dessert. Royce, our server, recommended the Tiramisu and he did not disappoint! Everything he recommended was spot on! He definitely took care of us and the entire staff was pleasant, friendly, and professional. Looking around the place, I love that it brings in a diverse mix of patrons. People watching is fun and if you don't make a reservation, you will have time to do a bit of people watching. I recommend making reservations! It seems like it is always busy with waves of people coming and going constantly. A great sign! Excited to visit Royce again and their Happy Hour deals definitely enticed us to want to make this our neighborhood happy hour place to go! Excellent. Takes the local movement seriously. They butcher themselves, only do local vegetables, etc. I disagree with previous reviewer about decor. It's nice and modern. Cocktails (about $8-9) were well mixed and excellent. We had the cheese plate and pickles for appetizer. Homemade pickled vegetables--slightly sweet but delicious. Nice selection of cheeses, mustard, honey. Hubby had a very respectable gazpacho. We had the fennel sausage pizza (they make their own sausage and it was good). Rabbit special. Chicken (which was a huge hit--very tasty and juicy.) macaroni and cheese with pork belly which was huge. I love cauliflower so that was a plus in it. Macaroni was great. Deserts were good: turtle cheesecake and fake key lime pie (really tart and delicious). Service was top notch. Go go go :)

I was pleasantly surprised by Terra when I was visiting GR over New Years. I ordered their special for the day which was a duck omelet served under a cranberry glaze. The cranberries itself were a little overwhelming and muffling the taste of the duck, but putting about half of the initial amount I was served initially the duck and the sauce complemented each other rather nicely. Our hostess was very excited and had a cheerful attitude about working at Terra. In the future if I find myself around East Grand Rapids, I will most likely be eating at Terra again.

Not a terrible place, but not great. My wife and I don't get too many opportunities to go out without the kids, so when we do, it's a big disappointment if if the venue isn't as good as we had hoped. First, the service was ok. Our server was friendly, but took quite a while to get to us. She made up for it by being a bit more attentive later on. I was bummed that she didn't tell us what items on the menu were actually unavailable before we ordered, though. Second, the cocktails were so-so. Mawby Green is o.k., but I wouldn't make it the main ingredient for a cocktail, much less several. The craft beer selection was thin. Third, after reviewing the menu, I had my heart set on the Arctic Char but found out they were out of it after we had ordered. Our server pushed the beef shoulder pretty aggressively, but I wasn't in the mood for that so I got the smoked half-chicken. It was fair, but nothing to shout about. My wife got the shrimp and bacon, and only ate about half of it. I tried some and I didn't care for it either. I usually love bagna couda, but this was not even average. The best part of my meal was the Gazelle Salad - a great salad indeed, but not worth $12... For the price, we had hoped for so much more. I might give it another try sometime, but only if someone else is buying.

There is something to be said for restaurants that make everything they serve and use as many local purveyors as possible. Personally, I think making and serving house made food is a matter of pride and that pride shines through in the menu at Terra, on Lake Street in East Grand Rapids. My wife and I have eaten at Terra many times and the restaurant has hit a comfortable stride producing what we have found to be consistently interesting and delicious food - brunch, lunch and dinner - with a friendly and personal level of service that is truly endearing. This has become our favorite Grand Rapids eatery This is the kind of place where you will find something for everyone too. The menu isn't huge but it is purposeful and well conceived with appealing variety ranging from interesting small plates to clever salads and sandwiches, wood-fired pizzas, entrée selections from ocean to farm, and handcrafted pasta. And the menu changes frequently utilizing the region's abundant food resources and seasonal specialties.

I am never disappointed with this place. I've enjoyed five meals here, both brunch and supper, and I've tried different items each time. I've been pleased with every choice (as well as bites from those around my table!). And the atmosphere and the service are great, to boot! The drinks are fantastic - from the Bloody Mary to the Biermosa to the Terra Coffee! I'd also recommend the bubble and squeak, the salmon scramble, and the breakfast pizza for brunch options, although you really can't go wrong with anything. Perfect spot to catch up with friends or take visitors from out-of-town.

Terra! Wow! I've had dinner here before and it was great! Just had lunch there today with my BFF. It was fantastic! Our server was Kaitlyn she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided excellent service. We started out with wine at the suggestion of Kaitlyn. The late harvest Riesling was excellent. We ordered lunch. I ordered the Cobb salad which was beautiful presentation, just the right amount of dressing, and excellent. My friend had the Herb chicken wrap. She raved about it! Excellent taste, and great presentation. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch. Kaitlyn was attentive but not overly. The atmosphere at Terra is excellent. You feel like you have just stepped into a Chicago eatery. It is upscale. Relaxing. And can't wait for outdoor seating weather! Definitely going to go there again. I would recommend it for lunch or dinner. The appetizers also looked great. Great place in Easttown.

My sister and I were visiting from out of town and stopped in here hoping for a good salad. What a pleasant surprise! We split two options - the gazelle and miso kale salads. Our server was really lovely - brought the salads out already split into half for us, checked on us enough but wasn't hovering. The food was delicious, prices were reasonable and we drove home happy with our lucky lunch choice.

Excellent service! Love the open style kitchen where you can see the food being created. I had the scallops and my husband had the pork belly - both were unbelievable! Love the little desserts as well. For all the hype, this place definitely lived up! Well done Terra!!
