STFU! Its 1955 all over again. Car service, FANTASTIC and I mean FANTASTIC locally sourced burgers, great fries and AMAZING SHAKES!! It truly doesn't get any better than Fords. And I love the old and intact architecture.

I tried this place because of a past review comparing it to In-n-out. I was sadly disappointed; nothing like In-n-out. Bun was kind of stale tasting. My chocolate malt was missing the malty taste. And they forgot my ketchup. On a positive note - the carhop was nice and our food came out fast. I love the idea of a drive in, but this one needs a facelift.

Slow service but I'm guessing the need help because there was a help wanted sign. Seen several cars drive off since they didn't want to wait. My hot dog was served on a hamburger bun, I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if they ran out of hot dog buns. It tasted like a store bought hotdog thrown on a stovetop for a little and in a bun. The hamburgers were decent although it's nothing super special and can easily be made at home. Not too sure about this place but I'll come back and try the shakes next time

The classic dine-in-your-car is alive and well at Ford's Drive In. The burgers and fries are great and those car servers really do hustle. There is usually a lot of cars there waiting to be served but I found the wait to be very little. And oh their shakes... SUPERB!!! Best food and best service will bring me back every time I am back in Great Falls.

The first trip to Ford's drive-in was good. The one thing that should be mentioned is the patties are thin like McDonalds. The fries do appear to be fresh, but they are soggy and limp in a few minutes. On my last visit I purchased two double burgers, one double cheese burger, and three small fries. I watched the carhop write down my order exactly as I told her. I ended up with three cheese burgers. My spouse and I dislike the cheese. My daughter would not drink her shake since it tasted like it had separated into ice milk and strawberries. It was funny to hear my spouse complain as he wiped off the cheese. My total came to $25.25. I gave the carhop two $20.00 bills with a quarter. She replied, "ok" with an attitude when I handed her the quarter. She tried three times to count my change back to me. I was quiet each time she counted and said, "Wait I have to start over." Still she only gave me $10.00. I am guessing the quarter confused her. I thought she had given me two fives and five ones. When I returned home I took out my change to give my daughter $10.00 and to my surprise I only had $10.00 total. I usually don't carry cash since most places accept debit cards. I stopped by the bank to take out $20.00 before ford's as I only had $20.00 on me. Ford's only accepts cash and check. I realize not everyone will have this same experience, but I did and this is my review. I understand I should have counted my change, but I also know that waitresses and carhops should be able to count. In the end I won't go to Ford's drive-in again. The carhop can't count, the order was wrong, and the shake and fries weren't good. I only tried Ford's because of the good reviews on yelp.

Skip the hot dog, sliced weenie on a hamburger bun. Very strange! The huckleberry shake was good and the hamburger was average. Too bad, this is the last original hamburger joint in Great Falls. Time to step up and really make an unforgettable product. It's not too late.....

Great burgers. It is what you would expect or maybe better said, hope for from a small drive in. The burgers were juicy and delicious. Lots of shake choices (We had root beer) Fantastic service, the waitress was literally jogging from car to inside to get everyone's order. One star deducted (barely) for average onion rings. Make this a stop if your are in Great Falls

Good burger, I've never had peanut butter on a burger and it will now be a regular occurrence for me. The Shakes are exceptional and our server was fantastic. She had a friendly smile and literally ran back and forth to take orders and deliver food.

YEAH! Great Burgers! The milkshakes are hit-or-miss. The cheeseburger deluxe is perfection. Skip the chains and eat here!!!

This place serves the most delicious burger I have ever eaten! I have eaten here probably 25 times and religiously order the triple cheeseburger and a chocolate malt. The drive-in itself has tons of character. It hasn't changed in 50 years. My only complaints are that it is slightly overpriced and often times understaffed.
