We've never been to Glasgow, MT, before so we used Yelp to look for a restaurant, Sam's was mentioned as being good so we decided to try it. The food was great. I had the Prime Rib which was very large (King cut) and prepared as requested, My wife had the Walleye which was also nicely grilled and tasty. If we are ever back in this area, we'd eat here again.

We went back for the first time since it reopened under new ownership. The decour was nice but after that the quality is lacking. I ordered a burger and you could tell it was a frozen patty; at Sam's it used to be fresh. My wife ordered a pasta that was supposed to come with a salad and when we asked about it we were told that it didn't, even though it was right on the menu. My wife's pasta sauce, alfedo, was dry and bland. Very disappointed and we felt we would have done better at the local subway in quality of food. Now that is bad.

It was good food and good service. We come to glasgow often and it was the first time eating there. Bar and supper club with a quite atmosphere, would eat here again! So far the best place we have tried in this small liitle town!

Best burgers in 150mi radius. Don't forget to ask for the waffle fries. 1/2 lb patty made with good meat on an artisan bun.

Not a tourist. I have to disagree with the other review, there are quite a few places to drink in Glasgow. Cottonwood, Stockmans, Sams, Alleys, Aces and 8's, Nothern lights, Oasis, Nickel Bills, Elks... Just to name a few. Thats quite a bit for a town with 3 stop lights total. Anyways, Sam's is the 'upper class' type place to drink in Glasgow. Its slightly fancier than the rest of the bars, and tries to hold itself to a higher standard. Its more comfortable, relaxed, and much less rowdy than the other bars. Very nice place.

There are not that many bars to choose from when in need of a drink in Glasgow. Of the ones that I tried, Sam's Supper Club is the one I would recommend over the others. The drink selection leaves something to be desired, but I enjoyed my drinks, and the food was satisfying enough. Not bad at all. Overall, I liked the atmosphere of the bar; it had a small town feel, and the bartenders were extremely friendly. I would rather go here than get drinks inside the generic bar at the hotel.

We were driving through Montana on our way east and stopped at this place for dinner. We had low expectations but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our meals - a burger and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was juicy and very tasty. If you are hungry and in the area, it is hard to imagine that you would find something better.
