Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Inexpensive, friendly, laid back. Good music too! Huge pizza - large fed two hungry runners ($20) well. Lots of options. Wine cheap and pretty good (not incredible but balanced). Pizza could be better (softer crust, more salt in dough) but toppings generous, not greasy, and hand made.

This is a delicious place for pizza and salad. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful. The service is outstanding, they work as fast as they can while preparing fresh and delicious made to order food. The atmosphere is casual and casual clothes are appropriate. This is a great place for locals and visitors alike.

Chips & Salsa for $5.50 was nothing but disappointing. It was the end of the bag and mostly small pieces! We didn't realize it was a pizza place. Should have tried them as they looked good. We all had salads. The super salad was "ok". Balsamic dressing wasn't very flavorful. My husbands sautéed salad was good. Not sure why 4 stars. Maybe it's the pizzas.

On our way back from Glacier NP, my wife and I wanted a change from camping food... so we stopped into this cute cafe on our way through Butte. The staff was very friendly, and the building was really nice - a renovated house. The menu was well laid out with a good amount of items. The food was really good - some of the best pizza we have had in a while. The prices were a bit high, but they pretty much always are for pizza places. We would definitely stop in again.

Very nice decor and view. Pizza was lackluster. Olives obviously from a can. Cheese lacking flavor. Salad was good. Fresh veggies. Service slow, which was strange since we were almost the only people.

Delicious and affordable lunch special... With a view and nice atmosphere. We had the slice and salad lunch special - walnut pear salad was delicious

I travel a lot and I end up in a lot of small towns. Whenever I have to go to another small town I worry about where I'm going to eat and how I'm going to find fresh (un-fried, un-fast) food. Butte has surprised me! We went here for lunch today and I ordered a salad and a pizza twist. First the salads weren't your usual small town boring iceberg lettuce! My salad was a unique salad with pear and walnut and feta and other yumminess. My pizza twist (which might be a cross between a calzone and a stromboli) was also unique with sun dried tomatoes and feta and olives and artichokes. The staff was super friendly and service very speedy. If I have to complain about one thing it's that the marinara dipping sauce was cold and I prefer it hot - but that doesn't stop me from giving this little cafe 5 stars.

What a great find in Butte. Everything about this place appealed to me. 100+ year old building, funky decor, wonderful staff and the food was awesome! I ate here for lunch and had a slice of pizza and a salad, but this was no ordinary fare. I was so knocked out by the salad I can't even remember what was on the pizza. I do remember that it was a pesto and olive oil sauce, the crust was light and perfect. The salad had mixed greens, red onions, fresh mushrooms and feta. What a treat! I would go out of my way to eat here again!

Sat on the outside porch area and had a pizza. It was great. Check out this awesome pizza place for the best pizza in Butte.

Met here for Book club. Nice enclosed patio on the back and cool building. Food was good (Had a slice of pizza). Other members had a salad that looked DELICIOUS, I want to try that next time. =)

Some of you folks writing reviews for this pizza place need to get out more often. We ordered the Pacific and the Success pizzas which are just average tasting pies - nothing special at all. We ate out on the porch which gave us a good view of the town - the experience would have been better if they swatted the flies. The beer was almost warm - they need to turn up the temperature on the tapper or start with chilled glasses.

Fantastic views of Butte with both inside and outside options. Great craft beer menu and equally great non-alcoholic beverage menu (Italian sodas, sarsaparilla, cremosa). These are gourmet pizzas with unique herbed crusts and even more unusual toppings. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. You will not be sorry.

I read the Yelp reviews on this joint while looking for a place to eat lunch. I arrived at 11:30 am and was the only patron. The lunch special was a salad and slice of pizza. Everything was fresh and reasonably priced. The service was quick and attentive. I recommend this place for a quick and tasty meal.

One of a kind pizza's and artisan sandwiches. Lot of attention goes into their preparation and ingredients. Very quiet atmosphere and a great view of Butte. Priced right and decent craft beer selection. Been there countless times.

Awesome pizza and salad! My son loved the home made soup ;-)

Beer in the pizza crust gives it a unique crispy lightness. Great combinations of toppings, too. Housed in a historic building with a wonderful view of the valley and a sunny atrium with plants, and you can't go wrong.

Terrible service...OK food. So we read the reviews on Yelp and decided to try the Broadway Cafe. We were in a group of 8. Once we arrived we basically had to find our own table and bus it too. Honestly as the night drug on I came to realize this was about the worst service I've ever had. The waiter took so long to take our drink order that we ordered our pizza, salad, and drinks at the same time. Then it took forever for the drinks to come out, and when it did it was someone else who didn't know who's drinks belonged to . It took at least 45 minutes for the food to come without a word from the waiter on the delay or if we needed our drink refills. He completely forgot my mom's salad. She went out to ask him and he said it was there but that he just didn't see it. He then asked if we needed drink refills and promptly forgot that too until being reminded. He didn't bring our check either. To me it seemed like he was jerking around with his buddies the whole time, too busy to keep track of us. It wasn't busy. As for the food, it was better than your run of the mill pizza joint, but nothing that would draw me back again. I guess at this point in the review it's easy to surmise that the next time we are through Butte we are crossing this one off of our dining list.

I came here after a recommendation from a coworker. I wasn't expecting just pizza so I had a salad while my date got a small pizza with the intent to take it home. Interesting atmosphere. One room is inside and a little crowded, good for casual small groups or couples. We sat is the back room which is kind of like a greenhouse. It was heated with windows on all sides and a great view; probably a great place to come during summer. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. I got a small salad with chicken for less than 6 bucks and my dates pizza was very reasonable too. I was impressed when the food came. Fresh ingredients, full of flavor and not what you'd expect at a pizza joint. My salad was more than filing but I still tried the pizza because it looked so good. I think only two pieces made it home. Our whole bill was under twenty bucks for two and well worth it. We will definitely be going back! I also snagged a menu on the way out. Pizza by the slice for lunch which scratch made soups and salads - all for around six bucks.

Great value and high quality food at a down home price. This cafe has been a nice gem in Butte for 10 years. It is at the end of the line, so to speak, off on it's own near the end of Broadway where the Berkely Pit has gobbled up much of historic Butte. But it is a lovely place, with friendly staff, who make soup from scratch and great pizza.

Perhaps I'm a little bias here, having worked at this fine establishment for a good year or so before my flight back to California... But before I was a waitress I loved the Broadway just as much. Serving up a healthy dose of a variety of "gourmet" pizzas, the Broadway is a jewel of a restaurant nestled in uptown Butte. The pizzas are named aptly for historical restaurants/hot spots of the old Butte mining days, and there are 3 signature, and extremely delicious salads to compliment the 'Za. My personal favorite is the Madhouse pizza, covered with sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and olives. If you love ginger, the Ginger Tahini salad, with olives, mushrooms, red onions, feta, and a to die-for dressing is where its at. Pizzas run you anywhere from $11-20, with salads rolling in under $5. Be aware that unless you are hitting them up for a lunch special, the salads are HUGE, and are best split between 2 people. There are 6-7 beers from local breweries on tap, and a famous drink called the "recipe" if you're feeling brave. The atmosphere is casual, with pizza cooks and waitresses behind an open bar. Waitresses are generally friendly and informal. The interior showcases young Butte artists, and every Friday night there is a live band, varying in talent. The back deck is a key feature of the Broadway, with beautiful views of Butte. Nothing like a little pizza, beer, and music on the deck in the middle of summer. :) As a warning, Friday nights, due to the live bands, are a bit hectic- if you show up at prime dinner time 6-8 pm, be prepared to wait for a table, and wait even longer for your pizza (some people have waited up to an hour). I recommend getting there at 5 to grab a table, get your pizza order in, and prepare for some interesting people watching. However, most people find that even when they are stuck waiting for their pizza, it was worth it. Although their hours say they are open until 11pm, the Broadway is known to close a bit earlier. The pizza oven shuts off at 10, so if you're into late night pizza runs, skip the B-way. The cute waitresses will thank you. They have honky-tonkin' to do.
