I'm a bit mystified for the less-positive reviews. Is the Voss Inn a big, polished chain hotel with sterile furnishings and fresh paint? It is not. It is, however, a perfectly adorable B&B tucked just off the main drag in Bozeman. The innkeepers were friendly and produced a really exceptional breakfast. Our room was large and nicely furnished, and I appreciated the many personal touches throughout the in. On the cusp of 5 stars here; if the mattress had been just a teeny bit more firm I would give it to them! Overall a really lovely stay.

A great place to stay while visiting Bozeman! Perfect location (3 blocks from downtown ), very reasonable price. The breakfast was all homemade, high quality, and tasty. The owner is a tea master, so be sure to have some hot tea while here. The only negative was staying in the (what appears to be only) room on the main floor. The house is very old so the stairs creak quite a bit, and you can hear everyone above you when they walk around (though thankfully I couldn't hear any real talking). I think being upstairs would be much better. The owners pay close attention to detail: there's a decanter of sherry and glasses on the bedside table along with some chocolates, there are extra outlets for all of our can't-live-without electronics, wifi, etc. The soaking tub was a great place to unwind each night. Lots of bang for the buck!

Amazing Victorian B&B This B&B is very nice. It has a great history, you can read it in the book left in the living room by the owner. The whole house is in Victorian style, our room was amazing with flower wallpaper all over the walls and ceiling, the toilet had an old bath tube and old but nice heater. A small bottle of liquor is left in each room. Breakfast is amazing, everything very fresh and home made baked. the location is great, 5 minutes walking to main street. fantastic!

The Voss Inn is a family run business. Great location near Main St. in Bozeman with the funky shops and good restaurants/bars. Freshly baked Morning Glory muffins and other delicacies. A good deal for the price and near everything. It is charming, and a fine place to stay.

The only thing this inn really has going for it is its location. Our room was okay, however, as my husband noted, the inn suffered from "deferred maintenance." The paint was cracked and chipped and our private balcony felt like a safety hazard. When we arrived, the innkeeper was in the process of cleaning other rooms. So, as we lugged our stuff over the extension cord for the vacuum, we got great views of the dirty rooms. Breakfast itself was good, however, it was one of the most uncomfortable meals we have had at a B&B - it just felt forced and the owner was not overly friendly. I would only recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere to stay close to the main drag. Sadly, my husband asked me if I would have rather stayed at a Holiday Inn... and I said yes.

The Voss Inn is the perfect place to stay while traveling for business. Their rooms are personal, so you don't feel too much like you're made out of cardboard like you do when you stay at the Holiday Inn or whatnot. The rooms are big, and most have a desk (although mine did not, Robert's room). However, I liked Robert's Room a lot. It had a private deck for relaxing in the evening after a crazy day at the trade show, and also a soaking tub that I actually felt like I could lie down in and enjoy. At $130/night, including the superb breakfast in the morning, this place was well worth an extra $25 a night! Breakfast was exciting, there was coffee and fresh bread early, which was kept in the most adorable bun warmer! The breakfast they served was really exceptional. Plus, they were willing to make it early for us since we had to work. I enjoyed this place a lot and I look forward to staying in more high quality B&B's in the future.
