I love this place! Why? 1. Family owned joint where the owners remember you by name after a few visits. They engage in real conversation like real people do and aren't put to seat you, feed you, and get you out! 2. Great food, selection, and price. If I am going to pay $10 for breakfast and a latte it better be tasty! And it is! 3. The ambience of the old school records playing and relaxed atmosphere, nice couches, and free wifi really make it a great lounge spot after a meal. 4. In the summer the creek side dining is just perfect for those warm mornings.

I understand the amount of time and money it takes to open a restaurant and I really love to see new places pop up but, in this day and age, you have to have that WOW factor. The food was ok. Cookies and tamales are made elsewhere...why? Make them in house and you'd really have a good thing going.

I'm in love with this place. My boyfriend and I were visiting Montana and camped along the the way. After a night in the forest we had a serious stroke of luck and ended up here. The back patio with the creek charmed my pants off. We both enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, eggs were cooked perfectly, focaccia they used was really nice. I had the iced coffee and they even had coffee ice cubes so it wouldn't get watered down. Service was incredibly friendly. Having a meal here is a must!

Best sammiches ever!! Love the focaccia bread and the havarti cheese. I can't decide if the grilled cheese or the ham and cheese or the breakfast sandwich is my favorite. We moved our studio to the building next door last fall and we ate at The Ditch a lot while we were finishing our kitchen. Never had a bad sammich there and it always feels like I'm visiting old friends there.

Food was ok. Good concept poor execution. Crapes were over cooked. My sandwich was microwaved to melt the cheese. Prices are reasonable. Service was bad. I waited at the counter for several minutes before anyone helped me (there were only two others there drinking coffee). Half way through my order she left to go ask one of the patrons if he would like more coffee while I stood there waiting to pay. I was treated like I wasn't wanted. They lost two stars for the very poor service. P.S. there was a hair in the coffee.

I have visited The Ditch on several occasions. My first time in I was floored by my favorite feature, the record player with stacks of records. That being said, I agree with Travis K. Good concept, poor execution. For example, I want to like the Ditch Dip, but it needs more transformation than a bunch of ingredients from Costco thrown separately into a cup (I get my order to go so it is always in a cup). The dip also tempts me because the menu says there is sour cream involved. I have yet to see that happen. This go-round on the dip was 3/4 black beans that were very runny with a spoonful of salsa on top and a smidge of shredded cheese. If only there was more salsa.....and cheese and sour cream. For what it is worth, the chipotle mayo on the sandwiches is good, the building is very cute, and I haven't tried the breakfast. I think I've given up on this eatery, but thank you for selling On The Rise Cookies!
