Great place to eat! Everything on the menu that I've gotten was excellent. Not a place to go if you happen to be in a rush

We were hungry and wanted to stop at the first eatery we'd see. So we happened to stop here, and we're enormously pleased with Storm Castle. Nice country style ambiance and comfortable. We had a very affable waitress. The breakfast dish called Poncho & Lefty was an explosion of wonderful flavors for the mouth! It consists of two crisp flour tortillas, cowboy beans, potatoes, chorizo, peppers, onions, and cheese piled high, and topped with eggs, fresh pico de gallo, and sour cream. It's Montana's version of huevos ranchero! See my photo attached.

Love this place! The staff is always so warm and welcoming, I feel like I've just walked into my Grandma's house. Portions are HUGE, and reasonably priced. Love the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and the fish tacos for lunch.

Pancakes!!! Can you say delicious? I eat here quite a bit. Their breakfast is really good and so is there lunch menu. It's always packed, so I often go by myself. I've had a Mexican-inspired breakfast dish here, and I wasn't impressed. But I know the pancakes, bacon, the coffee, the service are exceptional. I would definitely recommend you try this place out. But remember, they stop serving pancakes at 11.

We went here a month or so back after hearing about it. We came at 1130 on a weekend, but had no issue getting in. My kids were sad because they don't serve pancakes or french toast after 11am, but I'm sure its to keep the kitchen running efficiently. The girls got bacon and eggs with hashbrowns and toast, one got sausage. The hubbs got some sort of a pork burrito that was good (not a pork fan) and I had biscuits and gravy...and they were amazing. I ordered the small portion, should have ordered like five of them they were so good! I liked the good portion sizes, and that the bacon seemed like it was a good brand because it wasn't overly fatty and it was cooked perfect. Great service and we will be back!

We used to love breakfast at the Westerner on Main St. But it has gone down hill. Then we found this gem. We come into town about twice a month and this is where we go for breakfast. Go hungry because there is tons of food.

What a great little place! The food, the service and the atmosphere! I had an excellent experience with great company. Large portions for a great price. Our waitress Katie was such a joy, she does a great job!

Amazing food. Fantastic portion sizes. The staff was wonderful as well.

This place is awesome. The mimosas are huge and the perfect ratio of o.j. & champagne. Best chicken fried steak we've ever had! Excellent service.

Best french toast I have ever tasted. Great menu, great service. Consistent! Eggs benedict only on Sundays, and when they "run out", they stop serving it. If you are a benedict lover, get there early on Sundays. Did I already say best french toast I have EVER tasted?

Great food and great service. Had the corned beef with sauerkraut sandwich-Awesome! Great french fries as well.

I've been to this establishment a couple of times, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Burgers are pretty good and breakfast is not bad but nothing special. The head chef seems to need alot of attention, always talking loudly or acting out from the kitchen window. Dude, we don't need you to entertain us, just focus on the food. Some advice for the wait staff: most people I know don't enjoy being called "Hun".

Epic burgers. I had a blue cheese burger with buffalo chicken strips on it (yes, both a burger and buffalo chicken)! It was pretty amazing. The rest of the menu looks good too. Only open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 2pm. FYI

Kinda a little known secret on campus, their burgers are very good.

Not the best breakfast you will get in Bozeman but definitely one of the biggest. If you're hungry you will be satisfied with the huge portions.Staff are friendly and down to earth, popular with the college students so be prepared to wait during peak hours. Good value!

A new favorite breakfast place for me. The service and food was amazing. I ordered the basic breakfast and subbed a biscuit for toast, excellent food. The best breakfast I've had in Bozeman, hands down. Great atmosphere, fast service even when crowded and employees with great attitudes who are welcoming and friendly. Well done Storm Castle, you have a fan!

Let me start off with this one word...AMAZING!! I had the Vaquero breakfast burrito with sausage and I was blown away by the size, it's flipping huge!! Got my son the children's pancake, fair warning its dinner plate sizes still. Super thick and nice and fluffy pancakes. And I saw the adult pancakes are larger yet! My wife had the biscuits and gravy and couldn't finish it all. I suggest getting there super early, we went about 10 on a Sunday hoping to beat the 'church' crowd and we still had to wait for about 30 min to get in. It's not very large so expect a wait time. Can't wait to go back (maybe during the week when it's slower) and try everything else.

Great breakfasts. Ate here twice in a week on a recent trip to Bozeman. Sausage and pork from a local farm make a yummy treat with eggs or pancakes. You will wonder why a single pancake costs just over $5, but when you see it you'll get it. Huge, cooked to,perfection and absolutely delicious. I couldn't finish mine, I would recommend splitting one. Nice area for kids to play while waiting for breakfast. Everything is made to order so it does take a little longer than a typical diner but completely worth the wait. Another reason to love Bozeman.

Ate here after moving my daughter into her dorm. Sausage and gravy with biscuits the bomb. Half order more than enough. All our food was great and easily split unless you are a young male, like my son, with a hearty appetite. Chicken fried steak sandwich fabulous. Next time getting CFS with gravy a la carte.

The Western and Storm castle were the most recommended on the Secret Bozeman page by locals for biscuits and gravy. After trying the Western first and being horribly disappointed, I had reservations about how good Storm Castle would actually be. First, the interior of the restaurant is cute and the service is friendly. I ordered the biscuits and gravy of course and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito. I was so pleasantly surprised! I don't know how anyone could think anything at the Western was superior to Storm Castle, clearly they haven't been there! Everything was tasty. The biscuits and gravy were very good. The gravy was thick and even with lots of pepper. My boyfriend's burrito was full of flavor. The owner came over randomly to chat with us. She was very very nice and it was so cool to learn that they source a lot of the ingredients themselves. They make their own sausage from their own pigs, the sauces on the table are all restaurant made, the salsa was made fresh vs coming out of a jar. We will be back for both the good food and nice atmosphere, but also to support such a nice owner that's doing things the right way. The best biscuits and gravy in Bozeman are still the ones my boyfriend makes, but these were very good!

Everything I have had there has been great. The only thing is when they are busy you may wait awhile to get your food, but the wait is worth it. Great burgers and you can get breakfast any time!
(4)Wayne B.
A true hidden gem! I never would've known about this place had it not been for one of my co-workers. Excellent, friendly service and a damn tasty burger! I've heard their breakfast is amazing, and it's on my to-do list the next time I'm in Bozeman.

Finally made it to Storm Castle, have had their awesome catering before and loved it. I loved my Buzz Lutz, a more flavorful, more delicious version of a Soby's haystack. Tried a bite of my husbands grilled onion burger - awesome! Will be going back for sure, and soon.

Couldn't believe that I have been going to school at Montana state the past four years and never knew about this place. I guess maybe it's because it's just not that special. Good home cooking if you are into that. But be prepared to wait a long time for your food. With the amount of people they had working, you would think they could have some better and quicker service. I was excited to try the vaquero because of the wonderful reviews. However, the cateye burrito still blows any bozeman breakfast burrito out of the water. Food and coffee are good though. There's just better in breakfast places in Bozeman.

I'm definitely a fan of this joint, their french toast is bomb.com My husband does the GF thing so he orders the Vaquero with no tortilla and they cover it in green chile gravy. Makes him happppppppppy. Children love the small play area and they really have to have that there because the food takes a good while to come out.
(4)Ben T.
Great ! Food was fresh with a lot of homemade ingredients. I especially enjoyed the Vaquero burrito with homemade chorizo from their own hogs. The service was charming and efficient. All in all, great value, great food, great philosophy. Keep it up ! I will definitely be back. Also, beer. Nothing beats a breakfast beer with a tasty burrito. Why aren't you here already ? Next time - the country fried steak.

Storm Castle has delicious breakfast and even better lunch! I love the home-like feel with the mismatched glasses and chairs. Better get there early, its always packed!
(5)Larry L.
New dinner menu is wonderful! Delicious food, prepared and served with love.

One of the better breakfasts in town. I've been here half a dozen times and each time has been good. They have awesome biscuits & gravy and everything is super sized. The only thing I didn't like was the sausage patties on the biscuits & gravy, but to anyone else that would be a plus. Big portions, good prices, friendly people.

Yum! Stopped in for lunch, can't wait to go back. I had the "mine" sandwich. Best reuben in town. Hubs had the french toast - amazing. Great service, good atmosphere.
