Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I love Qdoba nachos. We showed up at 9:00pm after a long day on the road. Their queso wasn't ready, I had to wait 5 minutes for it to heat up. So the gal comped my meal and gave me a free drink. Woo hoo! I'm assuming it was the manager because she was so quick to decide to do that. Great service. Thanks!

This place is good when you have the right person making your food, there is a big variation at times between how items are made. Overall it's what I would expect of a chain restaurant, although the building with the fire pit and accents is a nice addition to the West end of town.

Great service here! We were super hungry and in a rush and this was the perfect place to stop. They let me taste the meat to decide what i wanted. I ended up with a chicken quesadilla that was to die for. I love that you don't have to pay for extras like guac. The employees were hilarious and were obviously happy to be here, it made everyone in the place in a good mood! :)

Great food! Really enjoyed the choice of the craft 2. I was able to get two tacos with pulled pork and Mexican gumbo. Both were delicious and had fresh ingredients. I also really liked the different choices in salsas. Definitely worth trying out. Their location is pretty cool as well.

Meh-you can do better. This Qdoba Mexican Grill needs to make too many improvements with their service and quality of food to come back here anytime soon... Service~ good luck! It's kind of a free for all with whoever starts your order as to what you want versus what they think you would like. I ordered a salad and asked that they do not put any dressing on my salad and leave of their corn relish. The dude grabbed the bowl filled it full of lettuce and added dressing then passed it to the next person... What the heck! I told the next person, as they started putting the corn relish on my salad that I did not want dressing the corn relish. They looked at me and stated, "this is how we make it"... Seriously! I asked them to remake it and they stated I would have to wait for it to go through the line again. No thanks! I decided to just eat my soup but unfortunately it was very bland. I tried to speak to someone in charge to share my experience with them and waited, waited some more and after Better off going to Chipotle.

The food here is OK and while it's no Chipotle it's as close as it gets in Bozeman. What makes it better here is the staff, they are friendly and quick. If there's one thing I really appreciate it's friendly attentive staff. I will be back, even though I secretly wish with every bite this was a Chipotle. Also if anyone from Qdoba ever reads this, go to a Chipotle and try their lime and salt chips. They will change your life and better your business if you can copy them.

Barely decent food for way too much money. I got a 4 oz. (Tiny) and a fountain drink and it was over 10 bucks. Not even close to worth it

Good prices for the amount of food you get. I don't need to feel like I'm in Mexico. I just want a happy and full belly. Good customer service.

Way too expensive for the bad service and bad food. A previous reviewer nailed it when they compared it to an overpriced Subway and said what you want isn't what you get if the person on the line "knows better." A plain quesadilla and 3 tacos came to $17. You can get more food that tastes better for less money at some of the authentic joints in Bozeman, so I'd go there if I were you. Try taco del sol. Oh, almost forgot: the guy at the register kept calling me "dude" and "man." The only thing that irritates me more at the register is when a young girl thinks it's ok to call me "sweetie" or "hun."

Update for my last review: They seem to have better staff now. Went back and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Great improvement!

The employees seemed confused and I stood in line for 10 minutes while watching one employee fumble with an order for a group standing in line in front of me. We were the only ones in line and finally it dawned on another employee that maybe they should help the next person in line. The food was nothing special. I'd rather go to LaPa for the service, environment and of course spectacular food.

If you want a Mexican Burrito for lunch, this may not be the best choice. If you want a overprice subway equivalent, then this place is for you. I came in for lunch with my girlfriend and ordered a basic chicken burrito at $6 something, the staff pushed cheese, sour cream, guacamole, with no indication of an upscale. Once I was done ordering the thing ended up at $11 with a drink. Typically this would not be a big deal, if the food was good; However it was not. The burrito tasted like I had taken a bunch of frozen ingredients and thrown them together. My guest said the same thing. There are much better, cheaper and faster burrito choices in town.

Went to qdoba today for a late lunch today around 2:45 and their lunch rush had long since passed. There was no line. I decided on the craft two menu where you can choose two downsized menu items for $6.50. I got the naked burrito and two hard shell tacos. Even though there were hardly any people in line the employees slapped everything together without much care. Hardly any sour cream or salsa or lettuce but an overwhelming amount of rice. Since the meat sits around all day my taco was really dry and lukewarm without much flavor. My naked burrito was really good though. Also not a huge deal but they forgot to ask if I wanted my food to stay or to go and prepared it to dine in. It was a quick fix though so I won't cry over it.

It was the 2nd day open and the lines were so long. Very understandable because of it being new. But after waiting in line 25 min and getting not that great of food, I would wait till the newness wears off if you do want to try it for yourself. I got the pork with rice and black beans. The burrito was large but as each bite came and went, no pork. Lots of bland rice, lots of even more bland black beans. So I unwrapped it and found the four sad little pieces of pork hidden away by all the rice and beans. The food was bland. The chicken burrito my sister got was the same thing. Lots of filler but not much meat. The queso was ok, nothing special. The atmosphere was nice with outdoor seating. The staff was friendly. The prices were ok if you got what you paid for. We didn't, so we won't be back.

Food bland, Not much for options and pricy for what you get. People aren't that friendly and take stupid to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL!!! Confused and just not together at all. SUPER DISAPPOINTED!
