High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Amazing fresh burgers with yummy waffle fries. Cute little place right on Main Street.

Staff was really nice. Walking through a bar with drunks not so great. Burgers are not good at all. My son came back from restroom talking about the drunk guy fallingDow. Hamburgers were cold, greasy and tasteless.

  • Edye L.

Good burgers. When they finally get it right the 3rd time. Only asked for a different type of cheese. Finally got it after the rest of my party was finished eating. They are very juicy and they will cook to order. Service was fair. With it not being to busy in a Friday afternoon. And after sending my burger back twice. It still wasn't taken off the bill. I was with a party of 4. I gave it 3 stars because when I finally got the burger it was juicy and cooked well. Waffle fries were good too.

Fun local atmosphere with friendly staff. Price was reasonable and choices are good. Maybe a little understaffed or under prepared for a Fathers day evening rush.

Hoping for a dive, actually quite expensive for just ok stuff.

This was our second trip to Bozeman, and our second time eating at Burger Bobs. The burgers are excellent there. They really are. It's right in the downtown, so you can pop in like we did after walking the strip. As much as I like it, my wife likes it more there. The servers are very friendly, and you an spend time googling all of the notable local athletes that have pictures on their walls. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

  • Mike M.

Wow! 1st clue, how would you like your burger cooked? It's a ground beef hamburger patty not a steak! Our answer "medium well", the burgers arrived almost raw. We sent back 2 of them and then realized the 3rd was also very raw. I took it to the kitchen and informed our waitress we lost our appetite and to give us the bill for our sodas. To my surprise she actually brought a bill for the sodas that we took 2 drinks out of. $5.97 for that experience!

After a long summer hike in the Bridgers that involved summiting with a couple friends, we wanted nothing more than a giant burger and a milkshake. But having burned at least 12,000 calories that day, we reasoned that we deserved more than the normal portion of milkshake and wondered if we might be able to order a pitcher of milkshake (putting aside the insalubrious consequences). Much to our surprise, out waitress ebulliently delivered a massive pitcher complete with a mountain of whipped cream and half a dozen cherries to top it. The shake was spectacular and thick and was quickly demolished by me and my exhausted friends. Now experiencing a severe craving for something savory, our main courses arrived with impeccable timing. My cowboy burger landed in front of me as a stunning mountain of gustatory euphoria and was quickly vacuumed along with the doomed waffle fries that arrived alongside it. While the meal was ephemeral, it's impact was enduring and I can almost taste that burger today. Seriously, it was that good. Minus one star because I've been there on less starving occasions and it wasn't nearly as exhilarating.

Way too much hype around this place - its been around for a long time, and pure nostalgia is driving the 'best of bozeman' wins. Aleworks burgers top Bobs in spades.

  • Kate M.

I love Burger Bobs! Its one of my favorite places to eat in Bozeman. The burgers are delicious and the fries are on point!

    (5)
  • Diane M.

Disappointing. Says it's the best burger in Bozeman but ours were over cooked, dry and served on a stale bun. Nice service just not tasty.

    (1)
  • Sam S.

Bob's a "semi-classy eating establishment" serves up pretty disappointing burgers and fries. I ordered the cowboy burger with thick cut bacon and BBQ sauce and waffles fries. The burger tasted like a premade patty, not freshly prepared, and had a very smokey flavor which I didn't care for. The waffle fries were over-seasoned and not very good. They were like Arby's curley fries except not as good. My chocolate milkshake was good but when have you ever had a bad milkshake? My wife said the fish and chips were pretty good although it was a little greasy, she said. Disappointing meal all and all. Our server was great though. Fast and friendly.

  • Chris M.

The prices are a bit high but the portions are big. I had the mushroom burger. Fresh veggies and a fat burger. Couldn't even get my mouth around it. The fries where delicious and actually big. Not the lame shoestring type that seems to be getting popular. My girlfriend got the fish and chips. Again delicious and a huge portion. She got the sweet potato fries and they where amazing. I actually ate them and I'm not really a fan. We will definitely be going back.

  • Byrhonda L.

I eat here often, and the burgers are okay. Last time I ate here, I had fish and chips, and it was pretty good. Burger Bob's is affordable and fast. If you want a decent, inexpensive lunch, this is the place to go. Long live downtown businesses!!!

This is by far one of the MOST DISGUSTING meals either of us have had in a very long time. My "turkey melt" was rubberized lunch meat of some sort with lettuce. Yes, lettuce on a melt. The tomatoes weren't even cooked in the sandwich, just added later. The coleslaw was swimming in dressing and not edible. His was a "chicken sandwich" that was basically all connective tissue and not much chicken. The whole meal was just gross. We'll never go back. EVER!

    (1)
  • Willem O.

I remember going here and it being great - but I guess things have changed. Didn't you used to be able to add your own toppings at a topping bar? That as a long time ago, but I thought that was neat. Anyway, last time I went I was basically ignored for 10 minutes with an empty glass of water and closed menu in front of me, waiting for a waiter. I just got up and left.

    (2)
  • Lauren K.

I love burger bobs. As someone who prefers their burgers well done I can really appreciate a place that nails it every time without delivering me a burnt dry burger. The cowboy burger is my favorite. My favorite place so far in Bozeman to sate my burger cravings.

  • Angela P.

Boyfriend and I went here during the FRIGIDLY cold Christmas Stroll on Main Street. Warmed up with hot cocoa and deep fried food. I got the deep friend appetizer basket thing and my boyfriend got a burger. We left full and satisfied and slightly warmer.

  • Monique R.

Just what the Dr ordered. Low key, tasty with a beer back.

    (4)
  • Suzanne H.

Friendly, casual & delicious. Definitely order a burger. The folks at my table ordered a variety and they were all delicious. There is an adjacent bar (brew pub?) serving great local brews. As you might have guessed...NOT a restaurant for the health conscious.

    (5)
  • Patrick O.

Excellent burgers, fries, and huckleberry soda. Slightly pricy, service is fair, but the food is great.

    (5)
  • Alisa V.

The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The owner is super nice and the employees seem happy. The milkshakes are really the main purpose of my visit. They are made with real ice cream and are a meal all on their own! I can't really say much about the rest of the food items but hands down if you are looking for a good milkshake this is the place to go!

I've been told that Burger Bob's has the best burger in Montana. Which is why my fiancé (a burger connoisseur) wanted to go there. What did we find? There are better burgers in Montana. I'm not a burger person, so I ordered the tuna sandwich. I was disappointed. My fiancé, disappointed. He said the burger was very small. And here's the real deal-breaker- burgers and sandwiches don't come with a side, what?! But the price of the burger is the price you'd pay for a burger with a side. And then on top of that you pay for a side. Burger Bob's= overrated.

  • Janey L.

Loved the atmosphere for an excellent burger/shake sports bar. Good BLT with crispy thick bacon, crisp lettuce, and juicy red tomatoes. I'm not usually a fan of steak-fries, but these were good. Chocolate malt shake was delicious. Owner is very cool and even adds to the atmosphere, love that.

  • Keith C.

Hit up Burger Bob's because it was supposed to be the best burger joint in Bozeman. Considering that there really isn't a lot of burger places in Bozeman, let alone a lot of restaurants, that really isn't saying much but the burgers here are really good. They were so good that on my last day in Bozeman, I left the slopes early to make sure I hit up Burger Bob's before I boarded my plane. The service is good and the burgers are delicious.

  • Lucy K.

Dipped into this place while taking a day trip and strolling through Bozeman. Its a total sports bar - TV's everywhere and they really rep hard for Montana and the college teams! I ordered a spicy burger (forgot the name) that had pepepr jack cheese, jalapenos. It was sooo filling and delicious. They provided us with every type of sauce we could have requested - without even requesting it! Service was quick and nice. Loved this place!

  • David B.

We came with three adults and 5 kids, and mashed ourselves into the window table so we didn't have to push tables together--entirely our choice. Our waiter was excellent and on the ball, attentive all the way. Funky little joint, and not overwhelmingly busy. I had a "what came first", a burger featuring a fried egg. Perfectly medium rare, the way I ordered it. Waffle fries were excellent, sweet potato fries were excellent, thick cut onion rings were pretty good, but what stood out was the Bozone Hefeweizen...oh my. My wife had the Cold Smoke, which was also delicious. Montana has some really nice craft beers and microbrews, and that comes from a Maine resident.

  • Ben T.

I've been going to a few places in Bozeman looking for the best burger and this has got to be it. It's easy, it's casual, it's consistently good. Burgers are done to the correct temp and the fries are hot. What more could you want ? Oh onion rings. Those are good too ! And local beers.

    (4)
  • Courtney J.

I love the bob's Atmosphere! When I want a big fatty Burger this is the place that comes to mind as far as local scene. I love their "sorry we are open" sign. It's just a doorway away to the cannery lounge in case you want a drink. So far I have enjoyed every burger, fish n' chips, and Chicken that I have tried. Especially the spicy ones.

    (4)
  • Jennifer W.

The burger was good, but not the best I have ever had. Their onion rings were good. A little over priced for what you get. I do like the fact they bring out a bunch of sauces so that you can fix your burger how you want it, or dip your fries in it (Ranch, Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard, and maybe BBQ sauce?) The place felt really cramped, and the tables are too close together. The service was good. I would probably go back if I was meeting a friend there, but there are a lot of other restaurants with way better burgers.

  • Matt I.

I stopped in Bozeman and got into wondering around. I really enjoyed the downtown and was in the mood for a burger. I heard Burger Bob's was good and decided to check it out. It is really a hip joint. Lots of stuff on the walls, neon signs, home made beer menus, a place for the college kids to be cool. I was instantly greeted by a gorgeous little waitress who, with a wink and a smile, convinced me to "eat in". Hell, she made me want to enroll in MSU. The best part was definitely the waitress. I must have been caught flirting by the cook because my burger was definitely over cooked. I would come back for beer and a certain smile and probably would try another burger at some point, but oh well... the road calls.

    (4)
  • Tonya J.

This was the first place I buzzed through while in Bozeman. It's just an average, small-town burger joint. I really liked all the wall decor- all Montana college themed, with "local sports heroes" pictures on the wall (cute). I ordered the burger with jalepenos and pepper jack (it wasn't really pepper jack- more like government cheese). Meh, it was alright, but nothing to write home about. Same thing goes for the sweet potato fries- not really impressive. It was edible, filling, and our waitress was pretty good, but if I ever return to Bozeman, I'll probably skip this place.

    (2)
  • J J.

I go here specifically for the waffle fries with nacho cheese. Everything else is pretty average, but I don't know what people expect, it's bar food :)

  • John H.

Loved this place. Great burgers, beer, and service.

    (4)
  • L P.

Many reviews said this was the best burger joint in town, and I hope that's not the case........Totally unimpressed with my burger...it wasn't BAD it just wasn't great...I've had better burgers at the local diner......save your money.....

    (2)
  • Aaron B.

Service is fast and friendly. Food is terrible. Everything fried is over cooked. The meat is all frozen. I'm a big fan of cole slaw and theirs is sweet, thick, and has no real flavor. Next time I'm heading for the Cannery next door to drink my dinner.

    (2)
  • C H.

Been here twice and been disappointed both times. Burgers are OK, everything (fries) else is extra. Too spendy IMO, not worth the quality of food.

    (2)
  • Terri B.

Greeted by a sign in the window "Sorry We're Open", you know the place is just fun. It is somewhat like eating in an old fashioned soda fountain. The service was great, and the diner is casual. Primarily ordering vegetarian when eating out, I'm just not much of a meat-eater I can't personally comment on the burgers, but am going on the others in our party. I had the grilled cheese with tomatoes and it was grilled to perfection. The Inferno burger reportedly was quite spicy but delicious, and the mushroom burger equally as delicious. Our group ordered the fried mushrooms with the horseradish dipping sauce, and they were devoured.

  • Samantha G.

Best grilled cheese and fries I've had in a long time. Yes, a grilled cheese is easy to make but somehow this one was top-notch. I stopped in Bozeman on a trip out west and stopped in Burger Bob's with a friend. From the outside it looked casual and like the perfect place to stop for a quick bite. The service was quick and friendly. I got a grilled cheese with tomato and fries and my friend got a cheeseburger which was fully loaded (with lots of veggies) and onion rings. We also got local beer which was perfect to wash down the greasy food. I would highly suggest this place to anyone traveling through the Bozeman area!

    (5)
  • Sarah M.

Service is decent, restroom is clean and they give enough food. Buns are buttery and delicious, onion rings over fries and the patty was cooked perfectly...chicken strips are good too!

  • P G.

Cute, lively, fun place to go for families with kids through grandparents. Lots to look at one the walls as well as a decent menu. We all had some variation of a hamburger with a variety of toppings and we all thought our food was good. Constant stream of customers the entire time we were there!

    (3)
  • Brenda H.

I'm not a meat-eater, so I can't say for myself how good the burgers are here, but everyone else seems to love them and can't wait to go back. I had the dinner salad, which was a large bowl of fresh veggies that was quite good and cheap! I love the waffle fries here, as well as the regular fries or onion rings. The other highlight for me is the condiment bar, so you can pick whatever you want to put on your burger and leave off what you don't like. They also have cheese for the fries! Yum! Also try the shakes made from Wilcoxson's ice cream. The decor is that of a busy diner, with low-lighting and many tables squeezed together. Get the window booth if you want a little more space and more to look at out the window. Cash/Check only. I think. Street parking easy.

the food is great and the waiters are all so nice and Burger Bobs is the place to go if you want to have a burger after a long day.

  • Well-Traveled I.

Fantastic fries and juicy burgers. What more can I say? My boyfriend and I love this place and while that is not a compelling reason for you to go, at least the fantastic fries and juicy burgers should be.
