Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Yum. So glad my mom recommended this place. It is nothing fancy, but the food and service make it a good place to eat in Billings. I went here about a week ago with my boyfriend and we were both very happy with our food. I had the Pollo Picante, and he has the Pollo Asada. Both dishes were excellent, and our service was great. i am not sure how authentic it is, but our food was good. We will be coming back the next time we're in Billings!

The food was not bad, but we will NEVER go back. We are in town for a week and wanted Mexican food. We looked at the lunch menu and ordered. There were 5 people, 2 checks, but we all sat at the same table. They brought us 1 bowl of chips and 1 thing of salsa. The salsa was good. We asked for another bowl of chips and more salsa. We ended up with 2 bowls of whole chips and 1 bowl of broken chips. When we got our bill they charged us for 2 bowls of chips and our friends for 1 bowl of chips!! When we asked about it, our waitress said you only get 1 bowl free. She told us we could take $1 off our ticket. (The charge for each bowl" Another person brought the menu over and said, It's right here in our menu I said we have 2 checks, we should each get a bowl. Her response was, your at one table. You can call our manager and I'm sure she can explain it. My husband said No, we just won't be back.

My least favorite Mexican restaurant in Billings. The owners are more interested in money than good service. I will never go back.

Very disappointed, I have been here before and it was pretty good (over a year ago) food is very bland, and the place is dirty!

The worst service ever...Only had an appetizer. Took forever just to order that and then additional long time to get a napkin with to forks and this was after the food arrived. Terrible service...we were totally ignored all while observing the waiter chatting with other people and not attending her duties. We had planned to order a meal, but as this was such terrible service we left. Oh, did I mention the wait time trying to get the check!!! Don't go, it's not worth it.

A friend and I tried this place and were less than impressed. We were given a tiny bowl, containing about ten chips and smaller bowl of salsa. With three different girls checking on our table, bringing water, ect, you'd think one would have asked if we wanted more while waiting. My blended margarita was one of the worst I've ever had. Obviously, they just used a disgusting syrup premix which tasted old. Horrible. The bartender who brought my margarita out looked less than professional and didn't understand our drink order one of the girls had taken. The other drink he was confused about was a bud light. Ordering the food, my friend didn't want the red sauce on an Enchilada, but asked for queso instead. The girl had to go ask the chef if that was alright. She came back and said there's no way my friend could simply get queso in place of red sauce on an enchilada. The only way to get the queso was to order it as an appetizer with chips. We said that was fine, and she brought out an awkward bowl of melted white velveeta cheese (queso). It wasn't great. The main entrees were edible, but I would have rather eaten at Taco Bell or Taco Johns. Both fast food chains would have fresher ingredients than this restaurant. Also, the whole time we were eating a fly was buzzing around our table. It was 30 degrees last night. That told me their kitchen has to be absolutely disgusting if it's producing flys. I don't want to think of what the maggots were crawling through. As we were leaving, the cook came out and was sitting by some customers(obviously friends of his). He was filthy, covered in stains and looked like he hadn't bathed in weeks. I've worked in a kitchen and can't fathom how an apron gets that repulsively crusted in filth. If I would have seen him prior to eating, I would have immediately left the establishment. This place should be shut down... By the lack of customers last night, I'm guessing, luckily it'll be closed soon. The only positive thing about this place was the fact that I surprisingly didn't get good poisoning. Although, I'm sure it's happened there before. Save yourself and eat somewhere, anywhere else.
