We love eating a good donut every now and then so when we moved to bozeman, we knew we had to find a good donut shop. New Day does not disappoint! These are the best donuts we have ever had. My husband loves cake donuts; no soft and fluffy donuts for him. They have amazing cake donuts and an awesome selection of flavors. I love the cinnamon sugars twists; theirs are a foot long! Ummm, yes please! Don't pass this place up. Super cute shop, friendly staff and delicious donuts.

I first tried this place when I moved to Belgrade in January 2015. I got a maple round, blueberry round, and classic glazed. I absolutely was not impressed. The dough seemed to be slightly over cooked and the topping was hard. They tasted very much like day olds. I decided to give them a second chance this September and to my surprise it was much better. I got a chocolate round with sprinkles, maple round, and old fashioned glazed. The dough was fried to perfection and the toppings were not hard. I must say the old fashioned was terribly delicious and I'm usually not a fan.

Great doughnuts but ridiculous business practices. Sold out of plain old-fashioneds every time I go in. Which, I kid you not, is probably 15-times right now. Every time I ask why they don't make more and I get two responses: 1) They sell out the first because people like them the most. 2) They are all pre-sold to our wholesale clients. So why not make more for goodness sake? I really want to support this business because they make a great product, however, they have got to step it up. And $5.10 for a half-dozen? WTF. Just make it an even $5, or $5.50. Who wants $.90 change in their pocket.

If you are anywhere NEAR Belgrade MT do yourself a favor and stop at the New Day Bakery. You will have a really hard time picking just one or two delectable donuts or pastries. I had a glazed donut and a blueberry scone. They were absolutely wonderful. The scone was bursting with blueberries. The glazed donut was light and fluffy. Nice and fat with a perfect layer of glaze. The place is cozy and charming and the man who waited on us was uber-patient while my family went nuts trying to pick out the donuts of our choice. Awesome place!

Ok. Has this place changed names? That's the only reason I can think as to why it's not yet been reviewed. There's no way you can stop by here, pick up a few of their spectacular donuts, puff pastries, cinnamon rolls, bars or scones and not want to write a review. And because they also have gluten free cake and some gluten free donuts, I don't know why New Day has been missed. Although I came by late in the morning, after the rush, I was surprised to find there were still some goodies. I picked up a couple of donuts and some coffee on my way to another appointment. Expecting a standard run-of-the-mill confection, I was completely won over with the first bite of the plain, large donut that tasted like something grandma made. It was enough to make me slam on the brakes and say "holy xxxx". Had I known, I would have picked up a dozen to share. New Day also offers gluten free cake and some gluten free donuts.

My fiancée and I happened to stop nearby on our trip from New York to Seattle. This charming bakery in a small town in Montana competes with every NYC bakery I've ever frequented. With friendly service and phenomenal pastries I don't have anything negative to say. The only possible criticism I can give is that they appeared to sell out the day before quite early - although I'm not so sure that's a bad thing unless you get there late and frankly that would be your own fault. Shame on you.
