At first it was a little difficult figuring out where to enter but once we were in, we were greet warmly. The food was delicious. We started with the Fried Brie which was a little sweet for my taste but still great. I got the Black and Blue Burger with their chili. Excellent. The service was ok. Still a but slow and learning the restaurant and menu. Spectacular view from the inside. It was an extremely hot summer day and it was getting a bit warm even with the fans. Overall a great new and exciting restaurant!

We arrived and were told it was a 90 Minute wait, we ended up being seated within 40 minutes, always a pleasant surprise. We were pleasantly surprised to find some local brews on the menu. Food was heavy but good. Moon Pie bread pudding left much to be desired.

A true gem in the Vicksburg area. On a road trip for work and hungry for something authentic and local.. after a long search on Google stumbled on this place and didn't want to leave - yes it was THAT good. The location is killer - rooftop view overlooking the Mississippi River, a nice outdoor patio with sprawling umbrellas and a easily accessible bar. The indoor dining area is also well setup and plenty of space to move around. Now to the food .. prepare to start drooling! On this visit my friend and I had the Mac Nuggets, a crispy, lightly breaded and cooked perfectly golden with a creamy center of cheese and elbow noodles - the perfect amount of crunch and creaminess .. add in the Tomato Jam and you will be in mac n cheese heaven. For our entrees we had the chicken and waffles along with the fish/catch of the day special. The waffle as a good combination of a Belgian style and classic/american waffle batter - the end result was a light and fluffy, tasty waffle covered with a large, deep fried piece of chicken and a delicious, semi-spy syrup. My friend's fish was perfectly cooked, lightly blackened, covered with a sweet and spicy pineapple/bell pepper chutney. For dessert, which you do NOT want to skip, you will regret it, we had the peanut butter pie - a tough decision because everything look amazing, and the pie was no exception. It was creamy, the perfect balance of a rich and savory, creamy delicious peanut butter flavor. This is a place you'll want to put on your list to make several repeat visits to fully enjoy the menu .. I know I will be!

The view, the decor and most important, the food. Everything was Awesome! My wife had the fried chicken sandwich with a killer mash potatoes, and I had the Ny strip which was just perfectly spicy and cooked. We had the bread pudding and peanut butter pie as desserts.... OMG!!!!!!!! We also asked the owner for the artist that did the photographs on the walls and she gave us her listing for us to look for. If we ever go back to Vicksburg, we will come back there for sure!

Simply put - This is the best food in Vicksburg. It's at the top floor of the building containing "The lofts". You enter through the bank below and take the elevator to floor "R". Upon entering, you are asked if you want to sit inside or outside. For some days this may not make a difference. We sat inside, but it was muggy and inside felt like outside because the garage doors/windows were all open. I imagine on very hot days, these window/doors will be closed and the small portable AC's will be turned on. It was definitely hot up there. The food prices were fair, and run about $10-$12 for a burger and upwards of $20 for a steak. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out the tall boy 20 oz beer was only $3.50. The fried brie was amazing and definitely worth trying if you've never had it before. Upon sitting down they promptly bring you free pretzels and honey mustard sauce which was a very nice surprise. The signature burger was fantastic and cooked perfectly. The black and blue burger doesn't receive any blue cheese but some type of other cheese, and even that was barely added. The service isn't there yet, but they are clearly learning as this is their first real weekend being open. I'm sure the manager will whip them up into shape. Vicksburg, Please assist me in "Bringing the internet" to this town by adding your own review as well as pictures of the menu. Thanks!

Sitting atop the restaurant's roof, eating fried green tomatoes and sipping a bourbon, I tell you, was a highlight of my trip to Vicksburg. As a Californian I may not know my fried green tomatoes, but I do know I liked them. Watching the endless treescaped horizon, the barges being pushed up river and enjoying great conversation forces me to give this restaurant and its staff 5 solid stars.

I haven't had the food here yet but the view and the staff are both amazing. I'm used to predominately female bartenders up in Chicago, where I live, so I was a little hesitant to see three middle aged men tending the bar. However, they were extremely friendly and attentive. I was with a business partner from New Jersey (who owns a couple bars) and he really enjoyed this bar as well. The bartender knew his craft beers and suggested me a few good ones. I then saw some of the staff at the bar across the street later that night and they all said hi and shook our hands. Haha. I love the small town atmosphere/ southern hospitality down here. I've been here 3 or 4 times the first week I've been down here in Vicksburg. I'm sure I'll be here plenty more times over the next 4 weeks I'm here.

This is hands down the best place in Vicksburg. You almost felt like you were on the beach! The rooftop atmosphere is spectacular and the food is totally amazing. We got the fried green tomatoes with crawfish sauce and the chicken and sweet potato cornmeal waffle. Omg. So awesome. Local, keep this place alive. It's a treasure.

Great rooftop bar and grill with an amazing, contemporary menu full of plays on Southern classics. The "Famous Chicken" sandwich and chili are both superb! A great find while in the area on business. I will definitely come back when I return to the area. Only downside is that they close at 9p on weekdays.

We drove 75 miles to try this new jewel of the Mississippi. Jay and Chef Kevin hit it out of the park or should I say 'over the River' with this one! The view combined with the delectable menu selections make this a go to spot for the Ark La Miss! We couldn't decide on one dish so we tried several appetizers. Mac N Cheese nuggets with tomato jam, fried Brie with tomato pepper jelly and cornbread crisps, fried green tomatoes with crawfish remoulade, shrimp n grits, waffle fries with queso and award winning chili and for dessert Moon Pie bread pudding with Coca Cola rum sauce. It was all delicious, even the dusted pretzels with honey mustard lagniappe upon arrival. Don't miss this gem of the delta!

We had a fabulous time at 10South! The views were amazing, the cocktails were tasty and the food was delicious. I love that they locally source some of their food products. I have a shellfish allergy and they were extremely accommodating I was not limited at all and our server Katie was fantastic. We started with the buttermilk biscuit chips and gravy, split the tamale pie and their famous 10South burger. We had wanted to try the moon pie but we were out of room. Definitely worth every penny.

I know a lot of this is kind of nit picky. That said, here goes. The draft beer system was down when I arrived and I'm a beer connoisseur, so that sucked, but is forgiveable. Due to this, there was only michelob ultra, a beer I would only drink if it's free and even then have no more than 2 if I'm really in the mood for beer. The pretzel app was nice with a side of honey mustard, though a touch over salted, but hey, they're pretzels and they're free. No complaint. On to the smothered NY strip. The meat was far from high grade (compare to your local cheap steak house: Golden Corral, Logan's or Texas Roadhouse, western sizzlin'... In other words, a $10 steak at best) and was covered in a boullion and brown gravy sauce (not bad though really salty) with mushrooms (tasted canned) and crispy matchstick potato fries on top. Overall, not bad, but absolutely nowhere close to $24 worth. The server was excellent, a pretty, bubbly, friendly blonde who was overly apologetic and had to make numerous trips to the bar trying her best to find me a beer worth paying for. However, the rest of the service staff seemed to have developed an attitude of needing to close the place for lack of interest. I scarfed down my steak and went to Rustys for a beer after making sure my waitress knew she did a great job and none of it was her fault or problem. I'll be amazed if she works there much longer. The view is probably really cool (I went after dark so there wasn't one) and I bet it's a pretty good spot for a drink and dessert provided you can get a drink... Wish I knew my servers name because I would recommend her.

Even if the food was horrible (it's great!) the views alone would make me come back. It was really nice. The staff was friendly and the free pretzels and honey mustard are right on time too! Get there early because the place isn't that big and it gets packed quickly.

Absolutely amazing!! My boyfriend and I were traveling through and stopped for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised by this adorable restaurant with an amazing view. Not at all what we expected in this little town!! The food was awesome. I got the catfish tacos and my boyfriend got the black and blue burger. We also got the Mississippi mud pie which was delicious and HUGE...so full now but so worth it! Our server was so nice and very attentive. Very highly recommend!!

Easily the best view in town and a great staff as well. The owner came up and talked to us for a few minutes. The music was a little loud but the food was incredible. Will definitely go back next time we're in town.

Great place, great service, interesting menu, and amazing views.

Great place and food. Get there early if you want their awesome deserts at least till they get the demand figured out as they are still newly opened. O and major bummer no more Tamale pie! It was awesome.
