Liked it. Nice inside, but, not so good drive up. I had the shrimp and sausage boil. Very good. Fried crawfish tails were also good. Wife had grilled Mahi. Nice grilled flavor. Lot's of draft beer choices.

I have been here twice, the second time was to give them a second chance. It failed. The food is not real good at all. The chicken was like chewing on a piece of leather. The only redeeming quality of this place is the beer selection, when they aren't out of most of them. The only way I will go back is if my girlfriend makes me, other than that, I'm sorry Rosey Baby, you have lost me.

I used to eat here a lot, but it has been over 10 years. I am very disappointed with this visit. Fried pickles, Cajun wrap and fish taco were good(not great), but the rosey burger was bad. The fries are strange, they have almost the same breading that was on the pickles.

As a State alum I have eaten at Rosey Baby many times back in the day. I was not completely surprised when I found out that Rosey Baby closed as the quality did go down over the years. I was excited to hear that they reopened and was willing to give it another try. Dinner did not start well with the salad. It looked and tasted like a bowl of the reject toppings from their po-boy station. Wilted shredded lettuce and carrots do not make a good salad. Needless to say I didn't finish it. My blacken grouper came out and I was shocked by the tiny fillet of fish on the plate. The side of rice was mushy and gummy. It was either over cooked or old or both. The veggie side was a from a prepackaged frozen bag. The fish was so salty I couldn't eat it. I had too bites and sent it back. The waitress asked if I wanted the kitchen to re-fire another plate but I knew better. I asked for my check and decided to go. My check came out and they charged the for the dinner. I asked the waitress about the dinner and she said she would talk to her manager about it. She came back and said that they would take half off the entree. Two bites and I had to pay for a meal I couldn't eat. Wow, customer service at it's best. Don't waste your time or money here. I don't expect the reopened Rosey Baby to be around much longer. So if you want bad customer service and food, better hurry up. Your time to experience at Rosey Baby is limited.

Definitely improving. Service is picking up and the food has gotten better (though, oversalted). Thursday night is trivia night, which is fun..

Been there twice, sadly had the same experience both times: food was mediocre but kinda expensive for what you get. As far as the drinks go, i've only had beer there, & it was more expensive than most bars in Starkville. The worst part is that for some reason the service is always slow & grumpy :( sidenote: one Friday night i was planning on enduring it again to see some friends in a band who had the bar booked for a show. the night of the show, they showed up ready to set up only to be told by the "manager" (who was like 18) that they had decided to rent out the bar to a fraternity party instead. no phone call, nothing. the guys were out a lot of money for all the equipment they rented out, etc, & the guy didn't even apologize or explain why no one called to let them know. Disappointing, because this place has potential to be really fun & cool.

Extremely slow service, even though the restaurant was not busy. Food was greasy and lacked flavor - no seasoning at all on the catfish, shrimp or fries. We will not be back.

My gumbo wasn't gumbo at all! The beer is the only saving grace of this place.
