We went back to get a burger 4 years after our first visit. Much improved since then. I got the Christy burger and spicy fries & it was so good! I'm glad to see the toppings bar gone. Floors are still sticky, which is the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars. They really need to get another brand of ketchup. It is too sweet and kinda gross. Staff was great & our food came out for 4 people after only about 5 minutes. So good!

It was time for a good burger during my stay in Starkville and I found it here. Nothing fancy...you stroll (or swagger, depending on how you roll) in, place your order at the counter, fill up your drink cup, then go grab a seat. They'll bring your food directly. Unlike some other reviewers, I though the place was tidy and clean...maybe they scrubbed it up? I have no idea. But I was a happy camper. I had the half-pound cheeseburger (see the picture). It was pretty damned incredible. Nicely cooked, nicely spiced, nicely everything. I loved the burger. The fries were skin-on and probably frozen. I give that a 70% probability. Maybe they weren't frozen and they par-fried them first. I kind of doubt that, though. You could certainly do worse in Starkville. Hell, *I* did worse there. But these burgers rock. One point off for the spartan, yet clean and tidy, eating area.

Wow, amazing burgers! Beware, you have to be reeeeal hungry to go for the double, those things are HUGE. The place looks like a dump, with old CRT TVs with awful signal, all hamburger toppings in an old dirty, disgusting salad bar, but my stars are their burgers and fries some of the best around. 4-stars for this location of this great chain! Pros-Great burgers, Coca-Cola products Cons-Hunts ketchup, old dirty, interior.

One of those great hole in the wall burger places. The place is a real dump, but the hamburgers are super greasy but in a really complimentary way and with more fries than you can ever eat. The prices were also dirt cheap, perfect for a broke college student on a budget. If you walk away from Christy's hungry, then you must have thrown most of your order away because portions is never a problem at this place.

Good stuff! The burgers are solid (pub cheese is really good), but the best thing about this place is the condiment bar in the center of a restaurant. When I eat a burger, I like it loaded with vegetables and Christy's allows you to do so.

For burgers, Christy's is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is not pretentious. It is a good homemade to order burger for a very good price.
