I truly love this place. It was quite good before the big renovation in early 2014, but now it is simply outstanding. Into 2015 they continue develop their excellent offerings and exploring dynamic dishes across the menu with attention to quality and detail, right down to developing relationships with quality suppliers of meats and vegetables, locally grown and quality controlled under the scrutiny of the chefs and management. It's no accident that the food arriving at the table takes you to a place and time where you know the great care and precision was given in the entire process to provide you with a truly fine dining experience, one that you will remember and be anxious to experience time and again. I would be remiss if I did not recommend one dish in particular for meat fanciers, and that is the exquisite bone in ribeye, in my opinion the finest steak I have had, including some amazing choices from Omaha and Texas that I had been delighted to put on my list plod personal favorites.

Really enjoyed dinner here the other night! Nice ambience - little haven away from the chaos of the casino. :) Service was very good - attentive without being overbearing. Bread they brought out was AWESOME! The raisin bread was my fave - had to request another couple of slices, which they obligingly brought out. There was a small amuse bouche, chicken on polenta. It was a nice thought, but would have been better hot. Got the feeling they were made much earlier and they refrigerated. Not bad, though. I started with the scallop app...YUM! But be aware it is a TINY portion - three small scallops in a creamy sauce. I was hoping to order the osso bucco, but sadly it is no longer on the menu. I went with the veal chop instead, and enhanced it with a side of fois gras and mashed potatoes. The fois gras was tasty, mashed potatoes creamy heaven, but the veal was just so-so. Under-seasoned and slightly underdone, it came out without the carrot puree that was listed on the menu. The waiter brought some out, and it really upped the flavor in the dish. More of a sauce than a puree, it was super-yummy! My date had the filet special, served with a mushroom sauce over a bed of risotto. I had a bite and it was really good, with a hint of smokiness coming from the sauce or the risotto. Overall, very good. I've only ever been to one other fine-dining establishment in the casinos, and Chicago Steakhouse was a much better experience. The table next to ours ordered a bunch of surf and turf, with huge crab legs and some awesome looking lobster. Next time, that will be what I order!

Here on business and had the privilege of eating here 2x. The service was great. Out waitresses name was kuo, pronounced "Q". She was fun and entertaining while remaining professional and upscale. The food was excellent. Several of the people I was with had the Filet and said it was the best they had ever had. I had the 24oz Bone-in ribeye. It was incredible. Cooked to perfection.

Plenty of casinos have steakhouses in order to cater to the high rollers, and I have to admit, my expectations are pretty high for this type of restaurant. When everything is served a la carte, and entrees eclipse the $40 mark, the food really has to be superb. I was invited to try out Chicago Steakhouse at the Gold Strike Casino in Tunica, and I had a feeling that their upscale eatery wouldn't disappoint. My mother accompanied me for dinner (just before she went hear Kenny G in concert at the Gold Strike's intimate concert venue, the Millineum Theatre). We started off with a lagniappe of yellow beet carpaccio and followed it up with Chicago-style oysters and duck confit egg rolls. I'm not a huge oyster person, but I thought the rich spinach, cheese and bacon topping complemented the brininess of the oyster. I might not choose them for myself, but I was more than happy to help my mom polish off her order. It was also nice to see something as playful as duck egg rolls on the same appetizer menu as a refined oyster preparation. My mom chose the Chilean sea bass and thought it was light, flavorful and an extraordinarily elegant plate of food. I went for the heartier lamb chops based solely on the fact that they were served with a fig creme brulee. Let me just say, forget mint jelly. Pairing lamb chops with fig creme brulee is a stroke of absolute brilliance, and something I'm going to attempt to recreate in my kitchen. The sweetness of the creamy fig custard cut through the fattiness of the chop. It was a match made in heaven. We split a twice baked potato and mixed vegetable medly to round out our meal. Neither of us ordered steak there are plenty of certified Angus options: filet mignon, NY strip, ribeye and porterhouse. And, since we drank our dessert (Frangelico, Grand Marnier), I can't comment on their sweet selections directly. However, I've got it on good authority that the apricot creme brulee and the creme brulee cheesecake are excellent choices. All in all, the Gold Strike offers a great rendition of a traditional steak house, and if you've got a little money to spend, it's an excellent dining option. The food is well-prepared, and the service is impeccable.

Upscale and Romantic! We were in Tunica for our anniversary so we decided to splurge and dine at this fine dining steakhouse. I ordered the filet with a chambord demi glaze and a pepper crust with asparagus. The asparagus was good and the steak was cooked perfectly but I probably shouldn't have ordered the chambord glaze and pepper crust because I don't think it complemented the steak. Although I didn't love this addition the steak was good. We ordered a bottle of wine to go with our special dinner. The wine was great. We were staying at the Goldstrike casino where this restaurant is located so my husband called downstairs to get a reservation for our anniversary. He was informed the first available reservation was 9pm. It was 5pm and I would have been starving by then. Thank goodness for the internet. I went online to their website and booked a 6:15pm reservation. I received an email confirmation so we got ready and went downstairs. I don't know why we couldn't get a table when we called but they had no problem seating us with our online reservation.

Very nice restaurant. Surprised by its ambience after walking through the casino. Service was excellent and classy. Everything about the place was at the 4 star level. Took a little time for our steaks to come out but we were in no rush enjoying a fine bottle of wine. The wife and I split the Spinach salad to start and it was very good. They also offered a tasty selection of bread to open the meal. My wife's 8 oz filet and my New York strip were both cooked the way we like them and they were both excellent. We also split the wild mushrooms as a side vegetable and they were also good. Large helpings on the side I think are made to be split. We passed on dessert but assumed it would be above par. It was pricey but I would definitely go back given the opportunity.
Second time I've dined here. As usual, it was just phenomenal. Caesar salad = perfect, Twice baked potato = perfect, creamed spinach = perfect, Porterhouse = absolute perfection, just cooked perfectly & melted in your mouth. Waiter even brought us a tiny sample of a possible new appetizer, it was chicken salad w/ a garlic seasoned crouton! Oh my, even that was fantastic. It is a bit pricey, especially if you're not a gambler & don't use express points on your player's card or comps, BUT it is well worth it & I am 100% sure I will be returning again in the future! Excellent staff & service. Great job by all & thank you for a very relaxing, pleasurable dining experience! :)

I didn't expect much just from the location of this restaurant, but everything was perfect! It was all perfect temperature, perfect seasoning and the speed of service was good. If I ever came back to Tunica, I'd definitely come back!

After a long day of gambling, who doesn't love a nice dinner at an upscale steakhouse? The Chicago Steakhouse at Gold Strike was our first pick for our casino weekend/Valentine's Day dinner and we made the right choice. The service felt a bit rushed at first, but once we were seated, it was darn near perfect. The steak was darn near perfect, too, but more on that later. I had the tomato and mozzarella appetizer and my other half had the lobster bisque. Both were good, although my tomatoes looked a little green. I don't think that's the steakhouse's fault, though. The steaks were magnificent. I had the sirloin, and my other half had the fillet, which he felt was little dry, but both were cooked to perfection. We didn't have dessert, although I am regretting that choice now. If you want a god steakhouse experience in Tunica, I wholly recommend the Chicago Steakhouse.
Reading the reviews, I was expecting Chicago Steakhouse to be hit or miss, and I couldn't have been more right. For me, it was a hit AND a miss. I was one of a party of four and we made it in on a weekday without a reservation with only a 15-20 minute wait. There seemed to be a few regulars there, which made me optimistic. Regulars are good. We ordered the Duck Confit Egg Rolls as an appetizer. They were just okay. The ingredients were good, just the dish as a whole didn't do anything for me. Either you get a mouthful of greens or a mouthful of duck. There really wasn't a way to eat them a better way. Also, the temperature was off for me. The meat was warm-ish while the greens were cool. It was confusing and unpleasant. Someone ordered the Onion Soup Gratinee. I was able to nab a taste and it was very very good. It was nice and hot (very hot) and full of flavor. I should have ordered the soup... they nailed it. (I love it when that happens) As an entree, one person ordered a crab cake to pick at. She wasn't a huge fan. I think she had a side of au gratins, but I don't remember her saying anything about them. Another person ordered the veal with foie gras and a side of mushrooms. Several minutes after placing our order, our server informed us that they had run out of foie gras. I was told that the veal and mushrooms were good, though. Here is where things got sad for me. I ordered the 8oz filet. My mom ordered the 10oz filet. My steak was extremely over seasoned and not as tender as I would expect from any steakhouse, regardless of price point. Mom had me try a bite of her steak and it was still a bit over seasoned, though not nearly as offensively as the 8oz, but it was of perfect tenderness. Considering this is a place specifically to get steak, this inconsistency and disappointment bummed me out the most. We passed on dessert. Although the service was impeccable, I really wouldn't try this restaurant again. Maybe they had a bad day. Maybe the Chef had the day off. But when I'm paying fine dining prices, I don't want to go in thinking "hopefully my dish will be good."

I must admit I wasn't expecting much from the restaurant, and it unfortunately proved me right. Positive: Delicious hot raisin bread - highlight of the evening. Negative: Everything else I ordered the ribeye medium rare and was served shoe leather. At almost $50, I expect a steakhouse to know how to cook a steak. I asked for a new one and 20 minutes later was still waiting. No apology from the waiter nor manager, and meanwhile, my partner's meal had grown cold. Bad food and bad service means we won't be trying this place again.

Really great food. Had tuna carpaccio for appetizer. It was a huge plate full with a nice salad and waffle potato chips on top. Shared a huge porterhouse. They even bagged the bone for us to bring home for our dogsAdded a lobster tail which turned out to be the same lobster size as the entree lobster which is the full size 16 oz African lobster tail. It is listed at Market price. Be prepared to pay a lot for it. The day we went market price was 55.00 don't get me wrong it was humongous and delicious but as an add on it was super expensive. It was cooked perfectly. . Had a twice baked potato (good), mushrooms (really good) and creamed spinach ( amazing) . Then bananas foster flambéed table side. It was delicious. I've never had bananas foster before so I don't know the usual recipe but I thought it could use some crunch. It was a great show though. The whole dinning room watched. I heard several people already eating dessert saying they wished they had ordered it. Over all it was a great time but very pricey. Our waiter was great sorry I don't know his name.

9 of us for a late dinner on a Saturday night. They had a private room that we were able to utilize and it was very nice and private. Lobster bisque - exquisite! Filet w/scallops - outstanding! Creme Brûlée - mouthwatering! Service - friendly, attentive, thorough, 5-star. Amazing dining experience thru and thru!! Highly recommend!!!

I would pick the Chicago Steakhouse if I was on Food Networks show "The best thing I ever ate" for steak. I started with the Duck Confit egg rolls, then I had the NY strip steak and twice baked potato. Last but not least, I ended the meal with a creme brûlée cheesecake on a raspberry sauce. Service was exceptional with a great attention to detail throughout the restaurant. I'll be back next year.
