A great place to grab some tamales. They have regular and mild tamales and a few other sides available for purchase. I usually pick up a dozen tamales when cooking a nice steak and Tony's tamales have always tasted great and been a great addition to the meal. Depending on traffic, Tony's may be difficult to get in and out of quickly. So I always go behind the gas station to get back into traffic.

I have always enjoyed Tony's, but this last visit was horrible. The tamales were dry and crumbly. The chili was more like poor spaghetti sauce. The onions were frozen, as was the cheese for the chili. I couldn't eat the chili period. The tamales were barely edible, only after microwaving. I will not return.

OMG! Best.Tamales.Ever. And in Mississippi of all places... who would have thunk it?! LOL I do not ever go to MS and miss the opportunity to get these tamales. $11 for a dozen. Unbeatable! Why oh why do we not have a place like this in Jacksonville, FL?!! I'll say it again: Best.Tamales.Ever. That is all!

Overpriced and bad. Red beans and rice had no flavor, no smoked ham hock flavor, tamales no sauce. Wish I could dish up some real Louisiana rb&r, from my kitchen or some tamales from Texas or the delta. No go for me, dissapointed

$10 for a bowl of gumbo with imitation crab meat was not only unusual, but did not taste good.

Great tamales and great taco soup. That's all I've gotten around to trying, because when I go - that's what I'm going for. Friendly service and the prices are very reasonable.
