Food was good and portions big for me. The bread was very good and the calamari great. The Chicken Marsala was amazing I loved it. I will come back again to this place. I didn't get my dessert I ordered but we were a big group and I didn't get charged so I was fine. Place was nice and the menus fancy compared to other places.

Their pizza is the best in Picayune, but the service... Not so much. I walked in, and waited for 15 mins before I was acknowledged. I was the only guest in the place. All of the workers were busy and the hostess was not there, nor was she notified by the other staff. After I was seen, the hostess told them I owed them $102 for the pizza. She got my to-go order mixed up with someone else's, but was about to charge my card. Eep! Got it straightened out, but my pizza was cold from having to wait so long. Like I said, best pizza in Picayune. Not the best service though.

Wat to say about the Italian Grill.....im from NY so pizzeria's have alot to live up to down south....me and my love had dinner one night service was very good forgot our servers name but she just started and did great job...my boyfriend ordered steak special it was good and cooked to order i ordered some shrimp special which was overloaded with garlic..the bread they brought to table was nice the marinara was way to sweet....the dining is very intimate....restaurant is elegant with a European feel when u walk in and very clean...did pepperoni pizza take out one night....i got to admit it wasn't bad it was actually good....i was impressed that u could find a good pie in Mississippi :) i played it safe tho wit a pepperoni pie lol...if ur in town check it out.

Authentic Italian Cuisine in Picayune, MS! Everything is wonderful, we especially like the Lasagna & the thin crust pizza! Amazing quality, freshly made, great service!

If you are going to eat out in Picayune the options are somewhat limited for a sit down dinner. Of those options this is one of better ones. Overall the food and the environment are good and the staff is friendly. Service is luck of the draw...sometimes you get a good waiter/waitress and sometimes you get one who you is not really on top of the whole attentive thing:). For the Yune it can be pricey if you order appetizers, special entrees and dessert but if you order a large meat lovers pizza and drinks it's a reasonably priced meal for a family of 4-5.

Just had the snow crab and shrimp pasta. Very good. Italian Grill is my favorite Italian restaurant and it happens to be in my small hometown.

Only been here once for a supreme pizza but it was very good. I don't usually like pizzeria style pizza but this was much better than most. It's a little pricey so I should give 4.5 stars but it was a big pizza.

I just hate it when restaurants are inconsistent and this is the case with The Italian Grill. I've been there and experienced a wonderful, to-die-for pizza only to have the pizza we ordered weeks later for take-out be a total flop! I dined with business associates and was very pleasantly surprized with a garlicy-nice-olive oil shrimp scampi but the next time, ordering the same dish was such a let down! In a small town with just a few restaurants I will go back again but the next time I'm hoping it's a good day! This is my addition: Today I had the best hamburger I've had in Picayune here at The Italian Grill. Go figure! The best burger in town is served at the Italian restaurant! Unfortunately they only have American cheese.

The pizza here is good. They also have a bar, but only wine. They are trying to get a liquor license. I would go to Kobe's in a heartbeat before here, if I want to eat at a nice sit down restaurant.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, we arrived at 1.45pm and were seated straight away, my friend did think about ordering the soup and salad buffet but was not sure how long the food had been out on display. We ordered lasagna and spaghetti Alfredo with shrimp anwash were so glad that it was closer to tranditional Italian recipes with no heavy sauce on the spaghetti. We ate at lunch time but do not think this is a white tablecloth venue but think we will be making a return visit

Been here for lunch many times, and occasionally dinner. It's one of the few good non-fast-food options in town. Pizzas are great and offer very good value. My favorite items are the shaved steak sandwich and the carbonara pasta. My daughter loves the kids menu grilled cheese and french fries. Speed of service has been inconsistent in the past, but lately it seems like they've hit their stride. They now offer a quick lunch soup and salad bar. Good value. Interior decor is surprisingly nice. Popular lunch spot for the local business crowd.
