I had a single cheeseburger with everything and French fries. Such a big burger and really delicious. Fries are great too. My friend had a patty melt and said it was really, really good. Nice hole in the wall type of place. Friendly. I'm looking forward to returning and trying something else.

Best meat and three in Olive Branch, hands down. This place has got soul, y'all. It certainly isn't anything fancy, but man: it is so darn good. It's a little dirty, a little small, but this is of no consequence. The food is just like your mama makes it (or wishes she did). Get the fried green tomatoes and mashed potatoes. Mmm mm good. The Neighborhood Grill is open for breakfast and lunch. The daily specials are listed on the wall on whiteboards, and constantly change based on what is available. Order from here, and leave the sticky laminated menus tucked between the salt and pepper. Check Groupon for the occasional discount; as if this place couldn't get any more practicable.

I bought a groupon for this place and without it, I wouldn't have even known this place was here. We went for breakfast on a Saturday and we were able to sit right down at a table, but it was busy. There was only 2 waitresses serving the entire place, so service wasn't the best because it was slow and we had to ask for refills. I got two over easy eggs, two biscuits, gravy, bacon, and a hot chocolate. It was all really good and it was a lot of food. I am excited to find a breakfast place closer to home, since it is my favorite meal to eat out for. Just beware that there could be a wait and the way the tables and chairs are set up there is many places where there is not enough place for someone to walk between them or even another person to sit in a seat if someone is already sitting at an adjacent table, because this restaurant is pretty small.

This place serve pretty good breakfast items. We bought Groupon for this place, and that made it quite a bit cheaper to eat. Not that this place is expensive in the first place. Caution the place is small and tables are setup in cramped manner. Understandable given the location, and I don't think they get enough customers to justify bigger place. People here looks local.

I like this place. Good atmosphere, good service, good food. 2nd visit today, 1st time was just so-so, this time was much better. Had the veggie plate, very good. 2 veggies and peach cobbler. Perhaps the best peach cobbler I've ever eaten. My guest had the roast beef Po Boy, and he said it was excellent. We'll be back.

This a good place for a meat and three, the food is good, only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it is so far out from a place of work. Good eating

I wanted to find a little gem of a diner with a traditional southern style breakfast. That's what I found at this place. I ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and potatoes. No complaints! Nicole, my waitress, was attentive and courteous in true southern fashion.

Just another whole in the wall local place along old hwy 178. Had breakfast; was ok. Can be noisy and may be difficult to carry on a conversation. Open early - but closes early so be sure to check the hours.

My wife and I came by here and had great "home" cooked meal. I had found this location on a review site and wanted to try it out. We arrived just after breakfast finished but she still offered a few of the items on the menu. We chose to go with lunch and we were not disappointed. I went with the Salmon patty with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and fried green tomatoes. Every thing was made from scratch and tasted great. My wife even like the Salmon patty and she is not a big fish person. Neither one of us had tried fried green tomatoes before and they were awesome. Thanks for a great meal and great time. We will be back again and will have to try breakfast out next time.

This was my first time coming here. My coworker ordered himself some breakfast and asked if I wanted to put in an order.....I said why not. I ordered the corned beef hash with two over-medium eggs. That itself came with a side of biscuits and gravy. I have to say everything was excellent and I will be coming back here someday.

This place is a little off the beaten path but so worth the drive. I find myself in the area every six months or so and always plan my day so I end up there for lunch. The owner is a friendly lady who always remembers me, no matter how long it's been since I have been in there. Today I had the hamburger steak, with baked tatters (think the yummy gooey insides of a fully loaded baked potato), perfectly fried okra, Mexican cornbread and delicious banana pudding. I have never gotten anything there that was not completely appetizing. Give them a try you won't regret it!

I purchased the Memphis City Saver coupon book from a neighborhood kid and decided to use my two for one coupon for lunch with my mom yesterday. This is a no-frills plate lunch kind of place. I had the meat and two sides and picked the meatloaf with fried green tomatoes and corn nuggets. I had no idea what a corn nugget was going to be, but I love all things corn and most things in nugget fashion. They were delicious! If you are also unfamiliar with the corn nugget, it is a little deep fried bite of creamed corn. The fried green tomatoes were also really, really good! They had fried pies on the dessert board, but I had to pass. That is until I went up to pay at the counter. They have a basket of fried pies just sitting there waiting for you to take them home. So I had a peach fried pie for dessert last night. It was okay, but not that amazing. We had good service, the place was clean, and the food was good. Not much going on in the way of atmosphere, but if you are just there to eat (like the lunch crowd who was predominately male) then it is fine. We have another two for one coupon for breakfast, so perhaps we will go back to try that out sometime.

We travel a lot and usually search for the out of the way "local" joints. This place fits the bill. We were there for breakfast and the menu was varied and reasonably priced. The service was pleasant and attentive, and I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. So why two stars? I ordered a large juice and my wife a medium milk - which came out the opposite of what we ordered- I got a medium juice and she a large milk - no big deal - but it was the beginning of a pattern. I ordered corned beef topped with over easy eggs and my wife fried bologna with over medium eggs - I got hard eggs and my wife's were over easy. The hash was straight out of a can ( you can tell by the perfectly cut mini diced potatoes only found in canned hash) with no effort to dress it up -ugh! The grits however, were excellent! It just seems that the kitchen help wasn't paying attention or cared much, and the waitress didn't bother to check what was on the plate against what we ordered. Despite this, we're willing to give them another shot based on the pleasant service we received- if they screw the food up again we're done.
